Panormos Bay Suites in Mykonos

The suites are spacious but the items such as outdoor patio furniture was old and dirty. The fridge had no ice maker. We had to order ice from room service and it was an additional fee. We had a friend stay with us after a night out of partying and we were charged extra per night for having her in our suite.

The room was very nice and comfortable, and our private pool was heated and clean. I really loved the hotel—it had a peaceful atmosphere and good energy. However, we were very disappointed with how the late check-out situation was handled. We paid 100€ for a late check-out because our boat was leaving at 18:00, and we wanted to have a comfortable place with air conditioning and internet so we could relax and work on our laptops. Unfortunately, from the moment we woke up around 09:00, there was no electricity in the room. It was extremely hot, and we couldn’t charge our phones or laptops. We reported the issue multiple times. A staff member would come and fix it, but the power would go out again within 2–5 minutes. This happened repeatedly throughout the day. Eventually, my boyfriend got frustrated and asked if we could at least use another room with electricity to charge our devices and eat the food we had ordered via room service, since our room had no air conditioning and was unbearable. What was most disappointing was that when we checked out, the reception staff seemed to have no idea about any of this. No one apologized or acknowledged the inconvenience, even though we paid an extra 100€ specifically to avoid this kind of stress. Honestly, we would’ve been better off sitting in a bakery for free. If it were up to me, I wouldn’t have charged for the meal or at least would have offered some kind of gesture to show understanding. That would have been the kind and human thing to do. With better handling, this place could’ve easily been rated 5 stars. As it stands, giving 3 stars feels generous.
