The best accommodation you can find in Mykonos. It's near the centre and this is a masterpiece cause you can go out by walk in the evening. The breakfast is international however you can find typical food like Feta, Baklava and so on.

If you are looking for a cozy, cute and with a beautiful viewing area of the sea, Little Venice area, sunset viewing, with a few minutes walk down, then up hill, this is your place.
I loved that it is run by a very friendly family (lady), who also helped guide us with any information we asked for.
Our room and it's own big balcony and view as well, but the top general area was place to sit back and chill enjoying the view.

We had an amazing stay at Spanelis. You pay for what you get, great value for money and great location. The owner Helena, was very sweet, helpful and friendly. The room was always clean. 10min waking distance to the city center. We would be back again for sure.

Decent for the price we paid. The location was great as we could walk in to the old town. Had a private deck we could sit at in the mornings and evenings. Didn’t try the breakfast but they have a nice patio for breakfast with amazing views. It was air conditioned, had a small fridge and a safe. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Was good value (IMO).

Excellent showers and service. The family is very nice. The hotel is a few minutes from Mykonos Town but it’s honestly nice to be a little away from the direct hustle and bustle of the town. Sahas rental is next door and the town is a short walk (500m). There is a beautiful view from the hotel and the breakfast options are good. I would stay here and again and recommend it! Free parking and service to and from the airport/port were super helpful for getting around.

Great hotel, really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very clean and the location is great. You can see one of the most beautiful sunsets right from your room. Service was great from the owner.

DON’T CHOOSE THIS HOTEL!!! My parents had a non-refundable paid reservation for September 2020 made before pandemia. Obviously they couldn’t go that year, neither the next. Their health, specially my mother's, has deteriorated since then and can’t travel any more. All the others hotels and air companies were sympathetic and made them a full refund. Spanelis didn’t care at all, despite how much I tried to explain them that my parents are retired people and their really struggle to get the money. They seemed to be more interested in taking double profit from their rooms. They might have a hotel with a nice view, but their work ethic is deplorable. SHAME ON YOU SPANELIS!!!

There are a few reasons why i am giving this place a 1 star.
The hotel is very very nice outside with a nice view of the sunsets. However Inside it’s NOT. The rooms are very small, they put (2) twin size mattress together making it (1) full size… i was falling through the middle the whole night… horrible… the lights/ac only work when the key 🔑 is inside a special key holder. Otherwise you have no power or AC You can’t leave anything charging OR the AC cooling for when you come from hot walks.
The staff is the owners family members + the owner everyone was not the friendliest or welcoming we felt so uncomfortable we couldn’t wait to leave the hotel.
2. The hotels location is about 15-20min WALK uphill. i would HIGHLY recommend renting a scooter or four wheeler to help you get back and forth because the walk was a killer.
3. The hotel is “mom and pop” owned. The owner(receptionist) waited till the last 10mins before our check out to let us know we had to make payments etc. rather than in the beginning as most hotels/places.. almost causing us to miss our ferry. Very hectic morning to say the least.
4. “Breakfast” owner(receptionist) did not inform us that it would be 9euros PER person every time you ate. Until the very very last second before our check out. The breakfast is just tiny coffee snacks nothing big like pancakes or anything like that.
I’d never come here again. Save your $$$ and book another place. Mykonos is beautiful 🤩 besides this place

My partner myself and Granddaughter stayed at Spanelis hotel last year we cannot rate it highly enough, very friendly staff and Helena is a gem, spotless clean and nothing is too much trouble. Myknos town within walking distance all down hill, if you are fit a good walk back up. but the taxi fare is very reasonable. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great hotel! Family owned and operated. The service is great and they are very kind and friendly. Breakfast is extra, but worth it. Rooms were extremely clean and well maintained. View from the balcony is spectacular. Not a far walk from the port.
