Well renovated but they were not ready for full service

Greatly situated in front of the sea. The pool with sea water is great to swim in and the surrounding garden is lovely. Parking was adequate and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However the hotel needs renovations in several areas and could be even better, infact it could be more than just impressive, since the infrastructure is great. I came from Patras for 3 days in Athens. I chose this hotel on the recommendation of a close friend. I was completely satisfied with both the service and the facilities. The spa is very relaxing and rejuvenating and the prices in relation to what it offers you are absolutely reasonable and appropriate. They really provide you with everything.

The room is large and comfortable but they not have blankets or comforter!! We asked for one and we were given another bed quilt. Believe it or not! There were also small maintenance issues like a slow drain in the tub, The breakfast is in the main hotel that is two blocks away.

Because I was on a business trip, I chose a hotel far from the city. But the weather in Athens was good. The hotel looked great. It was close to a commercial area. The surrounding restaurants were also good. But there was a bad smell outside the hotel.

The (#704) room was spacious and well appointed. Unfortunately, it connected with the neighboring room and had precisely zero soundproofing. The staff appeared to be aware it might be a problem, were apologetic, but did precisely nothing to remedy it.

Property was in great shape. I didn't receive the free bottle of wine. And the "free" parking was indeed free but very inconvenient finding it in the evening when it was dark. It was not at the hotel but about 3 blocks away.

The hotel was nice but dated. The aircon was freezing, regardless of what temperature it was set to. The buffet breakfast was a bit average. Left my bags/ jacket with concierge pre check in, and my jacket was very dirty upon return- looking as though it had been left on the floor. Staff were friendly.

We loved our stay at Kefalari Suites. The hotel itself is beautiful and rooms are so spacious and luxurious. The staff treated us so well and accommodated our extra requests. Nice hotel, friendly staff, good location. Reason for the low rating is the strong smell of the cleaning agents used. It is everywhere from the reception to the hallways and the room. It was a reason to no longer come to this hotel two years ago. I tried the hotel again, but unfortunately this situation has not changed.

Very pleased with everything. Have stayed several times. Shuttle is a really good added service especially when transitioning between the airport for flights that don't connect on the same day. Would definitely recommend to other travellers.
