Hotels with pool in Nea Makri

I was visiting family members who stayed at the hotel, so I don't know how the rooms are and the rest hotel services, I can only review public spaces, pool area, and cafe. The place landed directly from the 70's

Don‘t expect to experience a luxury accommodation but instead you will find the basics and old fashioned furniture etc. The pool is a very nice surprise, it is large enough with sea water and very nice indeed

Greatly situated in front of the sea. The pool with sea water is great to swim in and the surrounding garden is lovely. Parking was adequate and the staff were friendly and accommodating

A wonderful traditional Greek hotel. Run by a very friendly Greek family, who have owned the hotel for over 40 years. The view from this hotel is spectacular. The location is fantastic

It's amazing how old the property is, but my respect to maintenance service, because everything is in order, clean, neat, nothing broken. It's so old that becomes stylish and traditional

Hotel was overbooked and the staff was kind enough to book at the very nearby 4 star hotel.

The owner helped us to travel to Athens, which is very easy (ignore Google and talk to the locals!!). The breakfast had everything you could ask for and although we didn’t use the pool, it was clean and looked lovely

It’s a lovely place that is a few minutes walk from the seafront, where there are plenty of options for food and drink, all the Greek food we had along here was divine! The staff in Thomas Beach are the friendliest and kindest people we met

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, we stayed in the modern part of the hotel witch is a minutes walk away and was lovely, the hotels owners where lovely we would definitely recommend and also return.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel isn't fancy, but it's well kept, clean, and in a great area for food and the beach.

For being 3 stars it seemed very good with a fair price. The staff are very friendly and at your disposal, and by the way there are two beautiful girls working there. (I'm the boy from Martini, greetings!)

Pool towels require a deposit, also from reception, but this is fully refunded when you return the towel. There is a children’s pool and a big pool. It’s nice to swim lengths in when it opens at 10 am ish

This hotel has a lot of positives and exceeded my expectations at this price point. The bedroom was bright and clean with great views, a cute balcony and a fridge. Great wi fi and air conditioning

The food service by the pool was better than some I have had at resorts that cost 5 times more with everything freshly prepared and very good service from Orfeas

For a short stay I would recommend this Hotel, the rooms are freshly renovated and are clean and the size is ok. The staff is nice and helpful. Pool area is nice and clean with enough sun chairs and it has a lovely bar

The hotel also caters for wedding receptions. If you need a taxi to travel, you can ask reception and they will arrange this for you in advance

I witnessed Lisa (the manager) being exceptionally kind to someone with special physical needs, going out of her way for him

One thing to note is that the snack bar and dinner options at the hotel were noticeably more expensive than what we’ve experienced in other parts of Greece. The same goes for the supermarket just across the road

The buffet breakfast was a real highlight — generous, fresh, and with plenty of variety to keep everyone satisfied. There was never a shortage of food, which made mornings relaxing and stress-free

Wonderful Hotel Stay with Outstanding Service We stayed at the Nea Makri Seafront Hotel for three nights with my three children, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience

Love it clean, quiet, quiant, side view of sea and port or small marina (can't tell at night because we checked in late night and left very early the next morning)

My son had accidentally left his phone in the taxi to the airport, and this man went above and beyond by contacting the driver and arranging for the phone to be returned. Overall, a wonderful hotel with top-tier service

Although the hotel is old and renovation required, and sometimes they have troubles with water in rooms, and breakfast is so so, but

the beach is wonderful, one of the best we've seen in Greece, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend it if you need a rest on the beach for 1-2 days before going to the airport

Clean and spacious bungalows by the sea. Alas, overpriced, old infrastructure and mainly impolite & unhelpful reception.

Nice quiet room with a comfortable double bed Quick Wi-Fi, clean room, hot shower Location is a little bit away from Athens center but is in a quiet affluent neighborhood with many food options in a walking distance

Uncomfortable beds, breakfast ist ok gut nothing special. A lot of dog barking from surrounding houses + straying dogs. Staff is very friendly. Restaurants can bei reached by foot within 10-15 minutes.

Loved the different juices they had at reception each day. The pools were beautiful and modern but very cold so I didn't get to dip in them

The front desk staff was very thoughtful. to catch my flight and would have missed breakfast they made a wonderful care package for me to take @ checkout. It included a piece of fruit, a sandwich and 2 yummy cookies

The gentleman that helps you with your bags and parking (I think his name was Pericles) was the fantastic. Housekeeping was wonderful and helpful. I wish I could remember his name also

They have an electric car charger which I thought was fantastic! If I'd known I would have rented an electric car

I'm all about being eco-friendly and not using single use plastics and look for hotels that are conscious of that

I loved how the bottle of water they have waiting in the room for you was a glass one and you can reuse it

I’m very loyal to Marriott and this hotel was recommended through their online booking site but is technically a partnership with Design Hotels so while things were different; I feel like this hotel is boarding outside their brand a little

I had an outstanding experience at the Koumkan restaurant in the Semiramis Hotel. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the food is truly exceptional. What made the evening unforgettable was the impeccable service

The neighborhood is super fun and unique, but you arent that far (18 min walk) from the metro which can take you into town. My only regret is not staying long enough to enjoy the pool

Karavasilis, the restaurant manager, is incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring every guest feels special. His presence elevates the entire dining experience

I booked this stay very last minute and despite my ungodly arrival hour (plane was severely delayed) I was greeted kindly and cordially and shown to one of the most unique rooms I've ever seen

But the bedding was unbelievable, the Byredo products made using the bathroom enjoyable and I truly enjoyed my time here

The spa is very relaxing and rejuvenating and the prices in relation to what it offers you are absolutely reasonable and appropriate. They really provide you with everything

The suite was very spacious, it's close to the swanky kifisia shopping street with nice cafes. We didn't use the pool but it looked great. We recommend using public transport to get to central Athens

It's located in a affluent suburb if Athens & a 20-30 min taxi drive away from the centre of Athens , so perfect for access to Plaka , Monasteraki , The Acropolis etc

I came from Patras for 3 days in Athens. I chose this hotel on the recommendation of a close friend. I was completely satisfied with both the service and the facilities

Passing traffic is a little heavy but the double glazing pretty much blocks it out though crossing the road is always a seat of the pants adventure

The only downside for us was a lack of kettle in the room , you have to order coffee which comes from the Theoxenia Palace Hotel about 50m away

For turism i must tell you this is very far away from the city center and it's not worth paying the taxi every day

The hotel location is top. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Also, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I would say definitely go for that hotel, as it sends off a great feeling of luxury and comfort!

The hotel is nice, in a cool area full of bars, shops, and trees. We enjoyed the pool (especially in a hot day in Athens it is very refreshing) and the breakfast. The room is confortable but I would not call it luxury

My wife and I were travelling with our 18-month old twins. The hotel were extremely helpful, and couldn't do enough for us and our children. Highly recommended!

I didn't receive the free bottle of wine. And the "free" parking was indeed free but very inconvenient finding it in the evening when it was dark. It was not at the hotel but about 3 blocks away

Nice old fashioned hotel with a red carpet to welcome you. Kind stuff and comfortable rooms. Near everything in Kifisia. Good breakfast. Parking is a problem though.

Left my bags/ jacket with concierge pre check in, and my jacket was very dirty upon return- looking as though it had been left on the floor

The aircon was freezing, regardless of what temperature it was set to. The buffet breakfast was a bit average

Cosy ans quiet place downtown Athens. Highly recommendable toll stay here

Cleaning every day with change of bed linen and towels. Varied continental breakfast, cozy lobby, free transfer to the airport every hour. 24-hour bus to the center of Athens every 10 minutes for 6 euros

They offer airport transportation shuttle service. There’s a gas station/cafe right cross the parking lot that sells food & snacks which much cheaper than the hotel. The king room standard I selected was very spacious

The bathroom was a decent size as well. Overall I recommend this hotel & I would stay here again

Shuttle is a really good added service especially when transitioning between the airport for flights that don't connect on the same day. Would definitely recommend to other travellers

Nothing luxury, but clean and we had a good stay. The area is quiet and full of beautiful villas. The evening walks to nearby restaurants was a pleasure. The staff was very nice and accommodating with our needs.

the advertisement online is not true as rooms are a little small and it was weird that u had to turn in ur key before u left but at least it helped us with not losing it

Had a very hard time choosing a location in Athens since our bus got to Athens at 1:30am and we needed a hotel quick and the streets of Athens did not feel safe at that time trying to find a hotel

The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and the cozy terrace was a nice touch. It’s also dog-friendly, which was perfect since we were traveling with our pup

I called Hotel Chris at 2am and they answered the phone and took us in right away no problem. The breakfast here was very good and the service was great

Everybody here is very very nice and make sure that you have everything you need. Very close to the city and close to the airport

Stayed there for a night and it’s a chique hotel with a sexy vibrant atmosphere. It’s located among residential buildings so you get a more local feel.

The rooms were comfortable, stylish, spacious and immaculate; the lobby bar was perfect for a beverage and snack; the spa and pool area are beautiful; and the rooftop restaurant had a choice of a more casual outdoor dining area or elegant indoor seating

The restaurant and bar staff are so amazing and welcoming it was such a bonus to staying here!! The food was great the drinks were superb and delicious I can’t say enough positive things about Sofitel @ Athens airport! I am so grateful for you all and making my stay that much better!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were welcomed with the utmost courtesy. The reception staff greeted us warmly, and the service attendant provided a thorough explanation of our room

Overall, it was a memorable experience. Note that the hotel is steps away from the airport and nearby metro stop (which can take you to the Port of Piraeus or various points in Athens)

I noticed while dining that there were local Greeks meeting there to dine and thought this to be extraordinary for an airport hotel. Absolutely a 5 Star experience overall

We felt safe and the shops/restaurants around the hotel were super friendly and polite, plus cheaper than the center. Metro was 10mins walk and around 20-30mins total to the center

The area that it is located is far from the center but it is super close to public transportation and The Mall of Athens. It is also a quiet and safe area

30pm, as most of the residents will come back late from shopping or visiting attractions and extending the pool hours can give them a great option when they come back

Room cleanliness: Excellent Cleanliness in the corridors: Average (coffee table near the sofas: full of dust / elevators not very clean / gel dispenser: dirty) Room service: they do not come back to get the plates (2 dishes are left on a table in the corridor for 2 days and maybe more if I had not warned the reception and when I left a plate was still lying on the window sill) Swimming pool: clean...

Unfortunately the elevator was faulty and we were in building 5 second floor, there is no staff to carry your laggages upstairs, so you count on your muscles 😀 In general, the place is beautiful for a short stay, very clean and has a very quite neighbourhood

This hotel is chiper tham usually. But a litle bit poor. There is no self service in the room. And the breakfast is always same.

Very nice and clean. Provides jacuzzi in selected rooms, though two times the jacuzzi didn’t work and still paid the extra fee.

The bed was comfortable, I also appreciated how quiet it was, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was also awesome (plus really good coffee)

The hotel is with good location, near to road to highway . The staff is very friendly, room cleaning every day and the housekeeper is very accurate. The breakfast was bad.

Very good quality for the price. Go down the street to the right as you exit and you have the best restaurants you can ask for + a serene neighborhood full of pine.
