Where to stay with pets in Nea Moudania

The hotel Manager Vangelis and his dedicated team really do work very hard to make your stay unbeatable and if you want a week away in the Med at a proper 5 star all inclusive, well you are just not going to find better than Ikos Oceania in Halkidiki in Greece !

Check in and check out to our lovely ocean view room was very efficient. We were very comfortable and loved having morning coffee while looking out over the sea. We tried and enjoyed all of the restaurants

Food as per the norm outstanding and staff always working hard to make the holiday perfect. We enjoyed this holiday so much this year, a week after we returned home we booked right away again for May 2026

This is a great resort :-it’s compact and although it’s on a hill it’s very easy to get around between the restaurants , pool and beach especially with the golf carts that will drive you around

Our only issue was that the heated outdoor pools weren’t warm enough initially for swimming but after mentioning they increased the temperature to make them more comfortable

The weather was excellent during our stay and it was a pleasure to do nothing all day around the pristine swimming pools

Rooms are very clean, they change towers every day as well as bed covers, AC exists and it is functional. Hotel is pet friendly for pets under 6kg. Very important thing for internet'o holics - WiFi works perfectly

I cant stress enought about this, in some 5 or 6 star hotells WiFi doesnt work at all but here 24/7. Lastly you are generaly close to the shore but I suggest going on next Paralia called Dionisos

Breakfast is totaly acceptable despite what other reviews say, lady at the reception can prepare you whatever you want, specialy i suggest asking for pie with sweet cream or spinich

Place is in ok condition, considering that it was built in 1973. What i can see they bought few big appartments and turned theme into small rooms

I sugest tourists to use the opertunity and visit Skiatos (sadly there are no more boats from Nea Moundania harbor) as a one day toor

Only bad thing is the neighbourhood, people next to the hottel live basicly outside and are active in early and late hours

The hotel i new and clean,the location is super-5 min.by walk to the beach and taverns,the staff is kind!Recommended it!

It's nice quiet place, perfect for relaxing esspecialy with little kids, there is a narket near, and the beach is near 100m away, the rooms are nice, spaceous, and have all the latest gadgets - like electrical automatis sun blocks shades, aitconditioning, elevator for the baggage, and it's clean, nice bathrooms- 10/10, good experionce!

The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is a few minutes walk to the beach which is convenient. I could not find a single fault with this hotel. This place truly knows the meaning of customer service

Hotel Melissanthi is an excellent place to stay. The owners clearly take pride in every aspect of their hotel. The rooms are tastefully furnished and immaculate. The breakfast is delicious and varied

Best hotel in the area. Very clean and well decorated rooms with all necessary equipment for a lovely stay. The owners are very nice and make you feel welcome and home. 50m to beach. Highly recommend

The rooms were clean and very spacious. The beach is 1 min away from the apartments. The villa has playground for kids, which makes it a great choice for couples with children.

Very clean Very nice place The conditioner of one of the rooms was turned on and a bit noisy (the outside body) so if you have troubles to sleep as me, use your ear plugs

In terms of animation I took part in waterpolo match what was great activity, everyday the hotel organizes activities also for adults and children - I believe that parents should be fine with the infrastructure for their children

the fact that the bar in all inclusive offers only 3 coctails and mojito is not included was disappointed for me

Our new room allocation really made our break special as we could see the ocean a lovely bright and airy room(405)

Another huge bonus for us was the beautiful resident cat and her kitten such beauties

The food and cleanliness of hotel is second to none,everywhere is absolutely spotless, I would suggest visiting afytos a stunning little village,the hotel runs a bus to there on Tuesdays at 9 and pick up 12,if that is not enough time for you to explore ,a taxi will cost roughly €30 back to the hotel

The receptionist Kiki is such a bonus to the hotel so polite as with many other staff members, like vivikar(probably spelt wrong) who works in the restaurant, another huge bonus to the hotel,along with the Manager such politeness goes along way

From check in we had such a great experience, no hassle easy transaction, we originally had a room at the reception and asked would it be possible to move a little closer to the ocean,and without hassle we were accommodated

I have been here with my family for a week on all inclusive. We were delighted by the food. It was honestly good quality fresh food. We also had an amazing time thanks to Maya, Sara & the entertainment team

The children animation group and more and more we loved the Greek night with the beautiful lady and the most handsome gentleman there voice songs were soooooo beautiful we missed them

We decided on a spontaneous getaway to here with my husband, mom and 2 year old daughter for a few nights while staying in Thessaloniki

We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to come here, we loved it so much we kept extending our stay! The entire property is beautiful, very well maintained with lots of perfect facilities to keep you both relaxed, as well as children happy and busy! The kids club had great activities as well as the playground which our daughter loved going to

If I found one small fault was that we had a bathtub in our room which was poorly designed as the shower head couldn’t be turned much so only faced one way in front of the glass door which didn’t help to prevent water from leaking out, so we had the whole floor from behind the toilet flooded every time which was inconvenient to clean up and a hazard with a toddler

People are very kind and treat you with care. Hospitality is what they offer you. You have a lot of areas where you can spend time, they put price on details. It is very clean, service is wonderful, it has it all

You give it to staff and at 8:30 AM you get a basket with your food! The pool is really clean. You can get a delicious lunch from the bar next to the pool. It offers smoothies, cocktails, branded drinks and food

The place is super nice and I think for the price you get the best quality. There is breakfast that works in a really cool way. Every day you get a menu where you choose what you want to get for breakfast

We love this hotel! We have been here twice and liked it even better the second time because we already knew the resort and could "dive in" straight away. The water is shallow for several metres - perfect with childrdn

We have already been here last year, this is our second time. Food was great, there were a lot of options for breakfast, everything was clean and staff was really pleasant and always around for any help

It wasn’t a massive problem for me (hardy adult male), but my toddler was freezing in minutes, which is difficult when you’ve got a toddler who loves water as much as they do! It didn’t stop us having a great time, but it took the edge off what would otherwise have been an almost perfect stay

When we first walked around the resort I immediately went “wow” However, there is one big reason I can’t give it five stars: the pools are freezing! We went in late September, and the preside temperature during our stay was around 28c, so not cold

(PS: the pools are apparently heated and we weren’t the only family to say how cold they were) The other slight gripe was that bed and pillows were not very good, but the hotel will soon be refurbished so that will presumably be resolved

4 stars doesn’t quite do it justice. It’s in a lovely resort, with loads of amenities, great food, and brilliant, attentive staff. We went with our toddler, and it really is made for them

Andreea our friends for so many years take care of everything and spoiled as at maximum. All the staff is amazing and we had the best service. By the way sushi at the lunch in poseidon is such a nice surprise

The walk to the beach is around 10 minutes and town around 15 minutes but all the food we ate was fine. Cocktails and drinks round the pool area are reasonably priced and the value for money would be hard to match

Managed and run with real heart and care, the whole resort is spotlessly clean, with a lovely swimming pool and bar serving great cocktails for a great price! Our couples room came with a well equipped kitchenette, balcony with a sea view, tidy shower room and comfy bed

The rooms and facilities are perfect the pool area and seats are very comfy. From breakfast you can see the sea and the owner does not interve but always helpful if you ask for something

Free parking and the possibility to use the BBQ pit on site too if you would like. 10 mins relaxed walk to lovely beaches and excellent restaurants

Breakfast was basic but included everything needed for starting the day, coffee, tea, cereals, yoghurt and fruit, bread and butter, toasters honey, preserves, meats and cheese, pastries, scrambled eggs, and either greek sausage and bacon

But what made the stay even better was every member of staff and the owners! Always happy to help and say hello, I was a single traveller and the main lady helped with local attractions, public transport and with the abundance of questions I needed help with any time of the day

We could reach every point on Kassandra and Sithonia for less than an hour! Also the staff is so welcoming and will give advice on places to visit and things to do in Halkidiki. It was an unforgettable experience

Bed was comfortable and spacious, and capacity of the room was amazing! Breakfast was great, and the restaurant food was also lovely, with the hotel team going the extra mile to prepare special vegetarian meals

Best possible experience for the price! Asteris village is a family hotel with very friendly staff, mesmerizing view and a decent restaurant

One point of recommendation would be more indoor facilities for rainy days, as most activities are outdoor focused. But overall, a super relaxed worry free vacation!

We made frequent use of the golf-cart-type shuttle to get around the resort, which is necessary when you're having to go between the 27 restaurants! The staff at the resort in general could not do enough for you and honestly, made the trip lovely

The room was near the 'top' of the resort, which is on a large hill down to the sea. This wasn't a problem for us as we're in relative health but make sure you bear this is mind if you need something more accessible

We arrived with a private transfer from the airport, which was wonderful (thank you George!) and the welcome at the hotel was lovely. Our room at Sani Club was a Deluxe Double Garden Room with Sea View

The room itself was beautiful and we had no complaints at all. The resort itself was staggeringly large. It was meticulously kept, clean, with so many beaches to choose from that were all lovely

I just wanted to point out in this review that there is no All-Inclusive option for Sani (unlike their sister chain, Ikos resorts, which we have visited previously)

I did know this as I had booked 'full board', but it's worth being aware that there will be a bill at the end of your trip for extras such as drinks with meals etc

The photos on the website are completely accurate, and the location is ideal: just a 30-minute drive from Thessaloniki, but also close to quieter, peaceful beaches

, instead of waiting they actually finished our room and in the meantime we had breakfast in the restaurant, with so many options to choose from and a lot to eat, which was a nice welcome! There are stars at this hotel (the staff), thats how they are called which I think is just awesome

This may sound petty, but there is a seat reserved in hell for whomever designed those instant coffee machines which use milk powder

I stayed at Philoxenia with my family for a week, i have to give out big compliments. The food is my primary concern when i book an all inclusive/half board type of resort

That’s not just disappointing — it’s misleading. Other points: • Breakfast is the same every day — okay, but uninspired. • Coffee is truly awful — barely drinkable, definitely not what you’d expect from a 4-star property

• On the last day, you need to pay €2 per piece to store luggage in a locker — again, not in line with 4-star standards. On the plus side: the two-pool setup is a smart move, separating family areas from quieter zones

Your kids will be with you the entire time — which is fine, but not what we expected or were sold. What’s especially frustrating: even today, the kids’ club is still mentioned on several booking websites like Booking

The location of the hotel is great, only a 3/4 minute walk to the town centre. The views from the hotel over looking the ocean were imense! We also visited the spa and the massage was 10/10

Clean rooms(I especially loved the rain shower and the black make up towel for us ladies) It is located in a 5 min walking distance to the center of the town

The rooms are very spacious and it's clear that every detail inside has been thought of. There is plenty of room for storing your things both in the room and in the very comfortable bathroom

Even the place where the air conditioner is put has been considered - so that it does not blow directly at you while in the room. Another great feature of the place is the big parking

The area around the hotel is a run down weekend place for Greeks probably in the 1980's it's dilapidated weeds in the street vandalised buildings with graffiti all over the walls no shops just one supermarket (thank god) a small family restaurant where eat most nights but that's ok if you like Greek food everywhere else is a long walk or a cab ride away

We had a room on the 6th floor with a nice balcony with lovely views. The beach is right across the street. We had a rental car and Harry in the lobby reception was very helpful with suggestions of places to visit

Only stayed 4 nights but had a great bungalow which was spotless. had a problem in the restaurant which was resolved immediately. Really nice breakfast buffet and great wifi

The hotel is very nice and clean. It is in a very good location as well. The staff are very sweet and friendly💙

Beautiful interior with huge open spaces and marble floors. Literally a few minutes walk from the beach. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff, especially Angela on catering and kitchens

The sunbeds that the hotel offers are very close by and the beach is nice. I'd have liked to have is beach bar so that we wouldn't have to go back to the hotel bar to get drinks
