Another stay at Oceania, our home away from home. No matter how many other hotels in the Ikos group we visit, Oceania is always like coming home! We had a fantastic 7 day stay in mid September with unbroken sunshine for the whole holiday. Food as per the norm outstanding and staff always working hard to make the holiday perfect. We enjoyed this holiday so much this year, a week after we returned home we booked right away again for May 2026. The hotel Manager Vangelis and his dedicated team really do work very hard to make your stay unbeatable and if you want a week away in the Med at a proper 5 star all inclusive, well you are just not going to find better than Ikos Oceania in Halkidiki in Greece !

This is a great resort :-it’s compact and although it’s on a hill it’s very easy to get around between the restaurants , pool and beach especially with the golf carts that will drive you around. Check in and check out to our lovely ocean view room was very efficient. We were very comfortable and loved having morning coffee while looking out over the sea. We tried and enjoyed all of the restaurants. Flavors was our go to for breakfast. The service and quality and freshness of the food was exceptional. The weather was excellent during our stay and it was a pleasure to do nothing all day around the pristine swimming pools. Our only issue was that the heated outdoor pools weren’t warm enough initially for swimming but after mentioning they increased the temperature to make them more comfortable. Service is the best we’ve experienced at IKOS resorts. We’ve been to two others and while service was very good I think Oceania was the best. All the staff at the restaurants, bars and poolside were great but Stavros our customer service manager was outstanding. He was attentive, helpful and made our stay extra special by sorting out our restaurant reservations ,not so easy for a party of 6 during popular dining times , and arranging a wonderful beach dinner at short notice. One thing that I think would be an improvement to the resort would be to have a quiet bar in the evenings where you can have a conversation undisturbed by the entertainment. There is often 3 musical acts on at one time in a relatively small space which makes it difficult to talk.

September 2025 There were many fabulous elements to this hotel: the very high standard of service everywhere from the enthusiastic Ikos staff, just as good as our last two stays at the Ikos Aria; excellent food and wines in all of the restaurants; beautiful views across the sea; amazing housekeeping. We couldn't fault any of these. There were just a few niggles that stopped it from being a 5 star review, most of which have been noted by other reviewers. The Adult Pool lacks enough sunbeds for the demand - it was fully taken by around 9am on most days. (But a big shout out to the amazing Eva for her super service, friendly nature, and eternal optimism!). The Quiet Pool is an alternative BUT lacks the wow factor of the views and the pool is smaller. Elsewhere, there was a high number of babies and very young children so it was too noisy to relax. The only restaurant with an Adults Only areas was Flavours Buffet where the food was great but it lacked atmosphere in the evening. So in the evenings it was difficult to enjoy a relaxing or romantic quiet meal for two in the other restaurants. Finally, some of the public areas, especially the corridors in the bedroom blocks, were showing signs of wear and tear - definitely not a 5-star look. So, a very good holiday from a resort that just needs to address a few issues.

In August we enjoyed another amazing holiday at Ikos Oceania as Deluxe guests. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family! The views are stunning and the staff are exceptional, super attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay special. Every interaction felt personal and genuine, and it’s clear that the team takes great pride in what they do. We loved the views of Mount Olympus too. Special shout-outs to: • Despina and Tom, who served up some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had! • Miltos, whose cheerful energy and impeccable sunglasses cleaning service became a daily highlight. • Alex, Alina and Vagelis, who provided brilliant and friendly service throughout our stay • The Deluxe Concierge team, who were fantastic from start to finish. It was a pleasure meeting Marios • And of course, Dimitris Konstantaras and Elsa Datseri, who as ever went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was extra special. Stayed for 11 nights in September. The first room we were given had a shower over the bath, we did not feel happy having to climb in and out of the bath. They changed our room to one with a walk in shower with no problems. We ate in all the speciality restaurants and had the dine out as well. All the food is beautifully presented and well cooked and tasty. All the staff care that you are happy and are having a good holiday. The views and the sunset are fantastic. Walked into Nea Moudania a few times. Visited the local market where lots of people were shopping for their groceries, a few stalls with tourist goods on though. If you want to stay on a sun bed all day - no problem, food and drink brought to you all day long. Lovely to be able to do Al a Carte for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a lovely buffet if you prefer. Bedrooms are kept clean, mini bar refilled and turndown service provided. Yes it is expensive, but you do get what you pay for if you fully use all that is available. ie Tesla for a day, non stop food and drink, water sports at the beach, pilates and yoga. Just wish that all guests appreciated the service as I saw and heard a few people treat the waiters and waitresses in not a very pleasant way, they all work hard to serve you. Some even go out of their way to help you. We will return

We are just back from our third stay at this fantastic hotel and we had another amazing holiday. From the moment you arrive the staff are so friendly, caring and attentive that you feel instantly relaxed. The standard of service is impeccable. We tried each of the restaurants and the food quality is outstanding including the buffet selection in Flavours for breakfast and lunch. A special thank you to the lovely Demi from the pool bar who remembered us and greeted us with a big hug and to Savvi who looked after us so well at the top pool. Also many thanks to Iaonnou on the reception desk at Flavours who always greeted us with such a lovely smile and a chat. We are already looking at when we can return !

My wife and I have just completed our third visit in as many years to an Ikos hotel. Our first was Aria in 2023, followed by Olivia last year and now Oceania. Whilst not trying to draw comparisons we travel to Sandals (couples only) and Secrets resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico at least once a year. We feel this gives us a good view of the AI market, albeit Ikos allows children. The one thing that absolutely sets all Ikos resorts apart is their staff focus on service. No matter who you interact with they are all eager to make sure your holiday is as good as possible. It is hard to mention specific members of the Oceania team as they all do such a great job but a couple of shout outs are Eva who works around the adult pool and Sofia who covers the main bar in the evening. I pick them because they demonstrate exceptional guest service. Eva has worked at Ikos for a number of years with Sofia only being there in her first season. Regardless, they both have Ikos’ DNA running through them and we look forward to seeing them both when we return in the years to come. Food and drink quality continues to set a very high bar. Every meal we had was a great experience and having access to local dishes as well as Greek wine really gave us a broader menu to choose from. Hotel hygiene needs no comment as it is great - from shared parts of the hotel to your room. Housekeeping can’t do enough for you. Requests repeat items (like a small bucket of ice at 5pm) are asked for once and done thereafter. I could go on but I’m sure you get the idea. Back briefly to the competition - all I can say is they need to say at an Ikos to see what they need to do to up their game!

An outstanding hotel! Probably the best we've stayed in- they've just got everything right. We couldn't believe that you get room service, fantastic evening entertainment, dining out at restaurants, bike hire and sport activities all included! It seems like nothing is off the table! The rooms are lovely and clean. The mini bar is stocked up with branded spirits and soft drinks along with water, and there is coffee and tea. Beds are comfortable and the shower is good. All rooms have a beautiful sea view. The restaurants are all AMAZING! The assistant food & beverage manager Thekla was incredible with my husband's nut allergy. She pre ordered food that did not contain any traces of nuts, just to put us at ease. Our personal favourite restaurant is Provence, where we went for most of our lunches and breakfasts. All the staff were fantastic but a special shout out to Thomas and Regina who really looked after us! We also loved dining at Fresco, I wish we could have dined there more than once. The manager Nestor was brilliant and looked after us. We also attended a wine tasting event that was hosted by Panos, who was fantastic! We really enjoyed this experience. We spent a lot of time around the adults only pool and it was a pleasure to be looked after by the lovely Eva who is always full of joy! The pool was lovely and heated. The bar areas were great! Service was very fast and efficient, despite being busy. You were never sat waiting around for a drink. Tina and Vasilis were amazing! The shows in the theatre/bar areas were also brilliant; we were very pleasantly surprised with the entertainment! There was something on most nights, including DJ nights, white parties, dance shows, music shows and so on. The concierge service is the best we've come across. Very responsive on WhatsApp and no request was too much trouble. We really couldn't find anything to fault and we are already looking to book an Ikos again!
