Ikos Olivia Hotel

Ikos Olivia was the choice for our honeymoon and it was an amazing experience. The staff was very helpful and careful to our requests and made the whole experience for us feel perfect. The room was very nice and clean (chapeau to the cleaning ladies), the food was even better and there were a lot of choices in the restaurants or the main buffet. We’re coming back this year

Our stay at Ikos Olivia was the best holiday experience we've had so far, especially traveling with a toddler. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. They were incredibly well-trained and attentive, always anticipating our needs without us ever having to ask. Their friendliness and genuine care made us feel pampered throughout our stay.

The attention to detail was outstanding. For example, at the Florence restaurant, the lovely hostess always greeted our two-year-old with a warm smile and provided cutlery that matched her outfit nearly every time—a level of thoughtfulness that truly amazed us! 😝The step chairs for kids and other small touches made everything so much easier and more enjoyable for our little one.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the variety of activities kept us entertained throughout our stay. Everything was immaculately clean, contributing to a truly relaxing environment.

We’re already looking forward to our next visit. It was 100% worth it! The only minor issue was the pillows, which I found a bit uncomfortable, but that might just be a personal preference. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better holiday experience.

Have had a marvellous time with my wife and friends, the meals in all the restaurants first class with service, all the staff and cleaners were fantastic and very helpful and kind. Lots for families to do with great pools that are heated lots of things for the kids to do and great for couples, beach is nice and plenty of sunbeds sea is has stones as you enter with beach service highly recommend.

Great ultra all inclusive hotel, set into the hillside above a private beach.
Great choice of restaurants (6) and bars. Each restaurant has a different cuisine, and between them, they have a selection of around 300 wines.

The hotel is amazing! The staff is attentive and very careful they treat all guests with care and love. They will remember everything you like and bring it to you nothing too much trouble.
All 6 restaurants staff paid great attention to us in quick and positive way. We have never seen that kind of attitude and attention anywhere in the world! Rooms are spotless housekeeping service amazing! Always a pleasure to enter the room everything clean full and perfect.
Beach is clean and the staff there as well always nothing was too much trouble they would bring towels drinks and food quickly and with a smile.
The hotel management are taking care of all guests with kindness and are doing a great job.

Generally a superb experience which we have just arrived back home from.

Stunning grounds beautifully maintained and impeccably friendly service from virtually all staff we encountered. Genuine rather than forced. A great young guy who works tirelessly around the main pool area deserves special mention. Does everything for you with a smile and nothing is a problem.

A choice of on-site restaurants offering various world and Greek cuisines. Each was fantastic. The Spa area does a superb massage. The best I have had.

Now, if you aren’t keen on young children this particular Ikos resort may not be for you. Although they do have some adult only areas, you will encounter many families with younger offspring running around the pool, bars and restaurants main areas, and up until very late, too. It didn’t bother us, but be warned if it would annoy you.

Any downsides? Outside of the resort area is not the most inspiring if you do want to explore. But essentially there is so much to see and do inside, that may not be an issue for you. The Ikos App needs serious attention, and we found it more or less useless to actually try to book any of the restaurants, and incredibly frustrating to log in to. The hotel also insists you are greeted and asked to plan your meals on arrival with a specialist member of staff. After a very long journey, that was the last thing we wanted to do. We just wanted to go to our room, relax and settle in. The arrival meeting should offer the choice of seeking it out when YOU want it, and NOT them. Equally, we found the restaurant bookings they planned for us restrictive and not at the times and days we would have chosen. Don’t think you can just turn up at a restaurant on the resort. Other than the buffet area, you can’t. You have to book in advance, and probably the best way to do that, having spoken to people who have visited more than once, is to email the hotel directly before you arrive with the times and the dates of the restaurants you want to visit sent to them in advance.

Even with the above criticisms it would be absolutely churlish to deduct any stars from the wonderful experience that Ikos Olivia offers you. Sublime best describes it.

Amazed with this place. The place is all nice and all but the service is on another level. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I think, they never said no even once through the whole stay. I can really recommend this place.

It was a wonderful experience for my family! This is a very nice place for families with small children, with a great beach and several large pools. There are 4 fine dining restaurants with some interesting culinary options. The wines offer need to be improved with some higher class ones.
