Reviews
Hotel room looks new while bathroom look like from 20 years ago. Sometimes hot water is missing and staff tells you to wait 10 min for it, not possible with baby. If you got basic room you will have access to one pool, older one and the other area of the hotel is not accessible at all except if your room is there. Weird since in general hotel ain’t that cheap.
Food for breakfast is nice, dinner as well, but in the morning you have drinks (water, apple juice, orange) while at dinner you don’t have (you have to pay for water, and they only sell big bottles which are 3€, coca cola 0.25 - 4€. Staff is nice but out of them 15 present in the dinning area you can order drinks from 2. Not comfortable for babies, not enough room slightly overcrowded.
They charge for WiFi 1€ per day, they offer to take photos of you, ofcourse charged on the side.
We had one not so pleasant experience in the hotel bar/restaurant by the pool. Before all bar is more expensive than restaurants in the main street and food meh. One day we were having drinks and just in the moorning shift we have eat and drink around 120€ billion, which every time when we order was put on our table and at the end of first shift we collected it and paid. In the second shift we spent around 70€ more, which we calculated from the bills that were left to us every time we order, but at the end final bill came 92€. After short discussion staff concluded that they have made a “mistake”, on our damage of course it’s not like we spent there already 200€ just that day. At the end they calculated again and the bill was correct according to the receipts left on our table after every order.
In general we felt like everything except our stay there and pool access was tried to be charged to us, definitely don’t want to feel like that on vacation.
Positives:
The food is good, but I would recommend half-board instead of full-board. Lunch and dinner are almost the same, with repeating flavors and spices, so after a few days it becomes monotonous. Having lunch outside is a better option.
The staff themselves are friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
If something is not explicitly written in your reservation, don’t expect it. Anything marked “optional” should be considered as unavailable.
Rooms facing the forest can be listed as “not ground floor” but due to uneven terrain they actually are. If you don’t want a ground-floor room, request the 2nd floor.
Safety is the biggest problem. Parking is totally inadequate — maybe 30% of guests can fit in the hotel area. The receptionist told us there was shaded parking right in front of our room, which turned out to be just the forest. At night it didn’t feel safe at all, so we spent the first part of our holiday worrying about the car instead of relaxing. Then, on a calm sunny day, a tree actually fell on our car. At first the manager promised repairs and transportation, but once the car was freed they denied responsibility, saying the land “doesn’t belong to the hotel” and told us to sue the municipality. From that point, our holiday was completely ruined — instead of enjoying our stay, we had to deal with damage, uncertainty, and zero support from the hotel. If you come with an expensive car, full insurance is a must.
The advertised “wood path” to the sea (200m) has steep steps without a rail, which is unsafe for kids or elderly. The longer way around is safer but not what was advertised.
The beach itself is poor compared to nearby beaches. In Psakoudia there is a lot of black sea grass, which makes swimming less enjoyable than in other places just a short drive away.
However, when we arrived, we were surprised to find out that the kids’ club no longer exists. There are a few scattered activities, but no real program. Your kids will be with you the entire time — which is fine, but not what we expected or were sold.
What’s especially frustrating: even today, the kids’ club is still mentioned on several booking websites like Booking.com and TUI.com. The hotel’s own website, however, no longer mentions it — so the removal must have happened on short notice, and the information hasn’t been updated properly on partner platforms. That’s not just disappointing — it’s misleading.
Other points:
• Breakfast is the same every day — okay, but uninspired.
• Coffee is truly awful — barely drinkable, definitely not what you’d expect from a 4-star property. This may sound petty, but there is a seat reserved in hell for whomever designed those instant coffee machines which use milk powder.
• On the last day, you need to pay €2 per piece to store luggage in a locker — again, not in line with 4-star standards.
On the plus side: the two-pool setup is a smart move, separating family areas from quieter zones. And yes, it’s a good base if you rent a car to explore nicer beaches nearby. Also staff was very nice and the rooms have been cleaned daily.
All in all, this hotel seems unsure whether it wants to be a proper family resort or not. I wouldn’t recommend it to couples, and families should only consider it if they’re not relying on promised services like a kids’ club
The food is my primary concern when i book an all inclusive/half board type of resort.
The food was excellent every day, every breakfast and every dinner.
The rooms were clean and well furnished for a proper sleep, and the location is surrounded of trees by the sea.
The closest beach is literally 40 seconds on foot, and you can switch beaches nearby that are phenomenal.
The staff is excellent, very polite and very assistive even in matters out of the hotel.
11/10 i would recommend this place for your stay.
The food, according to our taste, was very good. For a restaurant of this level, the staff had clearly put in a lot of effort. There were themed dinner nights, such as Japanese, Chinese, and Korean cuisine – everything was very tasty and freshly prepared.
The service is good, and the waiters are polite, especially those who speak English.
The food is really good, but if you're used to Michelin-starred restaurants, don’t expect miracles.
There is also an evening entertainment program with an animator, including mini disco for kids, bingo nights, and other events. During the day, there are activities such as aqua gym sessions in the pool, which add a fun and lively touch to the experience.
The beach is nice – shallow with clean water. The sandy area is a bit narrow, but there’s plenty of space in the water for everyone. It’s a 5-minute walk down the stairs, or you can take a slightly longer path through the forest, which takes about 10 minutes.
There are beach bars where you can use sunbeds and umbrellas for free if you order drinks or food.
Psakoudia is a charming little village – generally quiet, with a small center with restaurants offering delicious and affordable meals. At the end of the village, there’s a large two-story supermarket with groceries and household goods.
It might feel a bit boring for teenagers and young people, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Despite the many families with small children, it’s still calm and relaxing.
I stayed at this hotel recently and was very disappointed with the overall experience. The service was terrible -- the staff were unprofessional, unhelpful, and often rude. I had to wait far too long to check in, and when I asked for assistance, I was either ignored or spoken to in an unfriendly manner. The front desk was disorganized, and it felt like the staff had no interest in the guests' comfort.
The hotel restaurant was also a huge letdown. It only has a capacity of about 40 people, which means long waits during peak times. Even worse, the food was bland and lacked flavor. I expected much more in terms of both variety and quality.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and definitely will not be returning.

The hotel, the rooms, the service and the staff are amazing. Breakfast and dinner are great with various options for everyone.
Definitely recommend
Hotel area is quite pretty with separated little houses.
But the reason for my low score is staff and service, which is the way below the standard.
When it was exactly 11am, one of the staff members entered my room asking why i was still there, in the most rude manner possible! However all my luggage was packed and i was ready to go.
I was quite surprised when later i saw my neighbour, sunbathing at around 11:45am at his balcony. Obviously nobody treated him like that.
Critically low level of customer service and common sense how to talk and treat guests!
Another thing to mention: I had a half-board option, where I had to pay extra for all the drinks ordered.
Whilst having my glass of wine, I couldn’t enjoy this as waitress couldn’t leave my table until I sign the receipt ( which has to be signed only at the end of my meal, obviously)
Avoid this hotel, there are plenty of other much nicer places where to stay!
P.S. Beach on my pictures is 2h drive from that hotel, it is not the local one
We all go on holiday to relax, eat good food and enjoy quality time.
The biggest let down at this hotel is the food.
Canteen food is the only way to describe it. Same things served over and over again.
Lots of guests we spoke to all said the same thing. The photos say it all.
Fortunately we hired a car so we were able to drive to various places and enjoy traditional Greek food.
I have been in hospitality for years and have never experienced such unfriendly staff. There were 3 staff in the whole 7 days that were friendly.
The bedrooms are clean but basic,a sheet and cotton throw are left folded on your bed daily.
No kettle for tea or coffee in room.
Smell from bathroom drains is horrendous and lingers in the bedroom.
Certainly not what the website portrays 😔
