Blue Horizon in Paleochora

We got extremely lucky and booked the last room available the night before our weekend trip. What a treat! The rooms were spacious and modern with a large balcony. The view and proximity to the ocean is unbeatable. The town and many restaurants are a short walk away. Maria and the whole staff were super nice as described. Plus the breakfast from, the star of the reviews, Maria’s mom was exceptional. I’m still dreaming about it. If this place is free when you’re looking, book it!

Me and Sally cannot thank the staff well enough for how pleasant they made our stay. The breakfast was the freshest and tastiest we’ve had at any hotel stay. The location is perfect for being by the beach and a short walk in to town. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and comfortable as they were able to provide us with a mattress topper since we found the bed a bit too hard for our liking. We felt very welcome and would definitely come back here again. A special thanks to Maria, George and the staff that served up breakfast for going above and beyond in making our stay a memorable one.

This property is advertised as 2 star. It deserves far more than that. 3 or 4 even. The room are modern and spotless. Breakfast on the roof top is wonderful. On out departure date which was earlier than breakfast time, the owner left us a breakfast in the fridge in our room the night before departure so we could have breakfast in our room the following morning...very happy with our stay.

We had a fantastic stay using Blue Horizon as our home base. The room was clean - we had a nice view from our balcony. The breakfast was such an unexpected delight - so many tasty options to choose from and sitting on the rooftop. The orange juice! Yum! We were supposed to leave early on our final day but adjusted our plans to have one more breakfast here. :) Everyone was so kind. Having easy access to the beach with shade umbrellas and comfortable chairs was an added bonus too.

What a lovely place. Stayed 4 nights there and we really enjoyed the place. Family run business in front of the beach. Spectacular view for breakfast in the rooftop. Room with nice terrace. Very quiet. Keep up the good work family you rock it.

This is a beauty and welcoming family-run hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was among the best I’ve had in Greece - served on the rooftop with a perfect view of Paliochora. I highly recommend this hotel and I hope to return soon for a longer stay!!

Stunning location only metres from fabulous beach.
Modern building and good sized rooms. Spotlessly clean throughout.
Superior quality breakfast, with freshly baked savouries, fruit, yogurt, grilled bacon. eggs, and much more. All prepared by Maria's mother and eaten in a rooftop terrace overlooking sea and mountains. An amazing experience.
Daily cleaning and a lovely family which looked after us so well.
Free access to top of the range beach beds a nice extra.
Our third visit and already looking forward to next year.

We just stayed here in July 2023! What a great choice !! Family owned and they are so delightful!! Great location , across from such a beautiful beach .. that have their chairs , umbrellas & cabanas ready 🐬Great location and their homemade Breakfast every morning on the rooftop was so delicious !! We had ocean front room . Very large and beautiful !!
