Glaros Hotel

Very quickly chosen on booking.com, I didn't even expect this hotel is going to be so good. Family-run, very friendly and helpful team, feels like home. (Crete basically does give this feeling)
Very! clean (and I'm very demanding). Also I really liked how it's situated - main street round the corner, equal distance to both of the seasides. Though Palaiochora is small and everything seems close, I think it's a lot better than right near the beach or close to mys.

Also I was lucky to have a great mountain view from the balcony (though never specially asked for that) and spent some nice time with a book there too ??
Breakfast included in price is simple, but if you want more you can always go round the corner to the main street and literally in 2 minutes have whatever you want in one of the local cafes.

My husband and I stayed here for one week during busy season. It was a wonderful experience. Staff was extremely friendly and the free breakfast was excellent. Quite neighborhood and walking distance to everything. Definitely recommend!

Liked this hotel, staff friendly and helpful, rooms very clean, the breakfast was very nice two choices, Greek or continental, both a large mixed plate also fresh orange juice juice, tea or coffee.

Everything I needed: clean room, very friendly staff, amazingly tasty Cretan breakfast, friendly cats, close to the beach, close to the bus stop.

We came in the middle of the night to Paleochora and had an issue with another hotel that we booked, it was almost midnight and all the hotels were closed. When we finally called hotel Glaros a nice man picked up and said we are welcome to come. We checked in quickly and had a very good night sleep. The hotel is located on a very quiet side street and there is no noise from the road. The room is spotless clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is extremely comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was great, very good coffee and fresh orange juice. Thank you again so much for accomodating us last minute. We recommend the hotel for everyone!

Quiet location but near the pitoresque downtown Not so far to many tavernas and caffeteries. Recommended tavernas by the receptionost were really good and with the local cuisine. Rich local breakfast served at 8 am. Can be recommended for a short stay here for a pair.
