The Breakfast was exceptionally good, with a nice atmosphere plenty of choices and very friendly staff from reception to breakfast. The surrounding is very quiet and pleasent, the town is very friendly with plenty of choices from cafes to restaurants with an amazing price/value. The beds were very comfy and due to the quiet environment sleeping was a bliss.

We had a bit of an issue checking in when we were originally put in the wrong room, but it worked out well and we ended up with an upgrade. Really appreciate the help of receptionist Zhoi -- a charming and helpful professional.

Small hotel in the center of Plakias with a nice pool and excellent breakfast! The staff is friendly, rooms are small but always clean. I would recommend this hotel for pairs, friends or single travellers.

I can See the beach from my room. I walk around 150 I guess to the beach. The staff is so friendly and kind. Didn't have had such a welcoming a long time. Seems to be family business. The room is nice. Except for people who needs space in the bathroom. It's small but for me it's not essential. In the evening the sound of the ocean on the balcony is very calming. The Hotel Lofos is beautifully located and very clean. The family is extremely friendly and accommodating. Anyone who wants to have an original, traditional Greek experience is in good hands here. Thank you for everything.

For a 2 star hotel everything is good here. Large balcony, clean rooms, view of the sea, quiet location, continental breakfast included per person. 4 slices of bread, 2x butter, 2x jam, 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of sausage, 1 bowl with large yoghurt and honey, 1 thermos flask of hot water, Nest coffee and Lipton tea for infusion. So better than expected. Friendly staff

Room is small, balcony with sea view. The mattress and pillow were too hard for my sleeping conditions. I would prefer it to be softer. Otherwise good. Breakfast offer is the same every day. We didn't have high expectations, so we were happy Hosts very friendly and nice. Animals are very kind) You have to pay separately for the refrigerator and conditioner Rooms are cleaned daily.

Ideal for everyone who prefers quiet holidays, very familiar, friendly. Terrace with sea views in the room as well as on the shared breakfast terrace. Breakfast with tea, coffee, orange juice, bread, sausage, cheese, jam, tomatoes, yogurt with honey was perfect for us.

The Lofos Hotel is a well-kept, medium-sized Greek family hotel, built in 1986 and excellently managed by the Zampetakis family. The personal address and reference name is capitalized here. The sanitary facilities are a bit old, but everything works. The breakfast, personally served by the owners, is good. The view from the rooms and the breakfast terrace is fantastic. We have been coming back here...

Very beautiful and cozy hotel by The sea. Our room was spacious and brand new with so nice colors and a nice balcony looking at the yard with the olive trees and the sea towards the sunset. The people were very friendly and hostile, everything so professional. Couldn’t ask for more from a place to have quiet and peace for my holidays.

We stayed for two weeks at this lovely hotel in the corner of Plakias. Very quiet, great breakfast and very friendly and helpfull owners and servicepersonal. The architecture of the hotel is very beautiful with all the stairs and different angles. Only the Wifi in our room was poor, because our room was in the far east. The owners said they would repair that.

The location is the best and the people who run the place are warm and real. Also, it seems like a secret, but the food here is world-class farm to table...easily the best in all of Plakias.

Super Hotel. We had everything we needed. Calm room. Good beds. Nice ocean view. Simple but lovely breakfast. Spacious balcony. It's a nice area with less traffic. We can recommend it.

This was an unexpected find in a very quiet city on the south shore of Crete. The rooms are big and very clean. Strong wifi. Great view. A very nice breakfast and the staff are amazing people. They also have a small private beach with trees where u can hide during noon. Very quiet place and a plethora of taverns where you can eat and watch the sunset nearby. They also have parking available.

Compared to the lady visita, this Place gas reslly improved, the breakfast Is now satisfying, the air conditioned works perfectly, the owners are always nice although the man dorsn't speak a Word of English, nice location front the Sea, we' ll sure come back

Home for 5 nights and we loved it. Room was very clean and staff attentive. Insects are quite noisy, throughout day and night so take your ear plugs if you're sensive ;) As a couple we would have loved one big mattress instead of 2 single beds put together but that's bearable. Really enjoyed our stay with so much authenticity 💙

The room with seaview and the shower was nice and clean. The staff was professional. But the breakfast was not very good arranged. What a waste to not have as a buffé!

Nice venue and great location. Hotel is in almost front of the beach (Main Street is between hotel and beach). sea view rooms have a picturesque view. Definitely would stay again to that hotel. Covid protocols are applied 100%. Box for garbages is missing in the room.

We just stayed in Plakias for a few days and we ate our / lunch. dinner.. The food was really great ( sea bream and lumb.. octopus it was very good.. Stuff was kind and attentive and knew English very well. Thank you so much.

Beautiful clean hotel with good proximity to Plakias and plenty of free parking. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options with different types of eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh vegetables, Greek yogurt with many add-ins, cereal, and numerous pastry options, fresh juices, and an espresso machine. We are very glad we chose to stay at this hotel and we will stay again if we’re back in the area.

Yet another great 2 weeks at Sofia (3rd visit) , location great, rooms clean and comfortable, great choice for breakfast, nothing more to add other than booked again for next year, thanks to all the team at sofia, see you next year :-).

Great location within resort. Rooms are well decorated and equipped. The beds are enormous and very comfortable. Rooms are cleaned every day and bedding and towels changed every 3 days. Family run to a very high standard. Excellent breakfast every day with lots of choice.

I stayed at this hotel three times and found it great. Central location. Very clean, comfortable rooms. The staff tries hard and helps with any issues. Breakfast buffet was very good, I could find everything I wanted. Plakias is a beautiful place with plenty outstanding beaches and walking routes nearby. If I return to Plakia, I’ll book this hotel again for sure!

A perfect location for families, as the beaches are within 200 m distance. Great breakfast and dinner buffet, which offers for all tasts great greek and continental food. Very kind waiters and the whole hotel team fullfill nearly all wishes.
