The Breakfast was exceptionally good, with a nice atmosphere plenty of choices and very friendly staff from reception to breakfast. The surrounding is very quiet and pleasent, the town is very friendly with plenty of choices from cafes to restaurants with an amazing price/value. The beds were very comfy and due to the quiet environment sleeping was a bliss.

I can See the beach from my room. I walk around 150 I guess to the beach. The staff is so friendly and kind. Didn't have had such a welcoming a long time. Seems to be family business. The room is nice. Except for people who needs space in the bathroom. It's small but for me it's not essential. In the evening the sound of the ocean on the balcony is very calming. The Hotel Lofos is beautifully located and very clean. The family is extremely friendly and accommodating. Anyone who wants to have an original, traditional Greek experience is in good hands here. Thank you for everything.

For a 2 star hotel everything is good here. Large balcony, clean rooms, view of the sea, quiet location, continental breakfast included per person. 4 slices of bread, 2x butter, 2x jam, 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of sausage, 1 bowl with large yoghurt and honey, 1 thermos flask of hot water, Nest coffee and Lipton tea for infusion. So better than expected. Friendly staff

Room is small, balcony with sea view. The mattress and pillow were too hard for my sleeping conditions. I would prefer it to be softer. Otherwise good. Breakfast offer is the same every day. We didn't have high expectations, so we were happy Hosts very friendly and nice. Animals are very kind) You have to pay separately for the refrigerator and conditioner Rooms are cleaned daily.

Ideal for everyone who prefers quiet holidays, very familiar, friendly. Terrace with sea views in the room as well as on the shared breakfast terrace. Breakfast with tea, coffee, orange juice, bread, sausage, cheese, jam, tomatoes, yogurt with honey was perfect for us.

The Lofos Hotel is a well-kept, medium-sized Greek family hotel, built in 1986 and excellently managed by the Zampetakis family. The personal address and reference name is capitalized here. The sanitary facilities are a bit old, but everything works. The breakfast, personally served by the owners, is good. The view from the rooms and the breakfast terrace is fantastic. Very beautiful and cozy hotel by The sea. Our room was spacious and brand new with so nice colors and a nice balcony looking at the yard with the olive trees and the sea towards the sunset. The people were very friendly and hostile, everything so professional. Couldn’t ask for more from a place to have quiet and peace for my holidays.

We stayed for two weeks at this lovely hotel in the corner of Plakias. Very quiet, great breakfast and very friendly and helpfull owners and servicepersonal. The architecture of the hotel is very beautiful with all the stairs and different angles. Only the Wifi in our room was poor, because our room was in the far east. The owners said they would repair that.

The location is the best and the people who run the place are warm and real. Also, it seems like a secret, but the food here is world-class farm to table...easily the best in all of Plakias.

This was an unexpected find in a very quiet city on the south shore of Crete. The rooms are big and very clean. Strong wifi. Great view. A very nice breakfast and the staff are amazing people. They also have a small private beach with trees where u can hide during noon. Very quiet place and a plethora of taverns where you can eat and watch the sunset nearby. They also have parking available.

Compared to the lady visita, this Place gas reslly improved, the breakfast Is now satisfying, the air conditioned works perfectly, the owners are always nice although the man dorsn't speak a Word of English, nice location front the Sea, we' ll sure come back

The room with seaview and the shower was nice and clean. The staff was professional. But the breakfast was not very good arranged. What a waste to not have as a buffé!

Nice venue and great location. Hotel is in almost front of the beach (Main Street is between hotel and beach). sea view rooms have a picturesque view. Definitely would stay again to that hotel. Covid protocols are applied 100%. Box for garbages is missing in the room.

We just stayed in Plakias for a few days and we ate our / lunch. dinner.. The food was really great ( sea bream and lumb.. octopus it was very good.. Stuff was kind and attentive and knew English very well. Thank you so much.

On the positives I should mention the friendly staff (ready to provide useful information), the excellent breakfast, the clean rooms, and the good/central location (near supermarkets, restaurants etc.). Just barely off the main strip, this hotel was a nice stay for us. So easy to walk down to the strip to find a bite to eat or just go for a stroll through town. The staff was friendly and helpful. As concerns the cleanliness, the hotel is spotless. But, by the photos I hadn't realise that it was an old renovated hotel as well as I was expecting bigger rooms.

This review is for the restaurant. We ate here a few days ago, and I ordered a dish that was absolutely not my taste when it came. Not that it was ill prepared, just a funny taste about it which I didn't like. The very friendly owner who brought us a free dessert of lovely chocolate cake, and the bill, told us she had skipped my dish, because I didn't like it, which she of course absolutely did not...

Simply a must poppets. Had a superb outdoor evening meal at the restaurant here and couldn't fault it. Will defo be visiting again.

We stayed there 7 days in total. It was by far our best experience ever in a hotel( though it has just 3.5 stars). The staff were really friendly, helpful and kind. The food was really good we just missed the lamb dishes in the dinner buffet. But all in all a fantastic experience.

Vacation in Alianthos Garden was absolutely perfect. It was sparklingly clean and looks exactly as it is in the photos. We were in this hotel 9 days with half-board. The room is clean and fresh. There was everything that I needed. The one thing that was disturbing me was sound isolation. It is not so good as I would wish. The territory is green and nice. Everywhere is really very clean. The swimming pool was warm enough. A bit difficult to get to the places, but was still possible. Great view of the beach, clean room with very meticulous room service, very pleasant personell in general. Only gripe would be the very artificial taste of some of the marmalades.

A wonderful place for dinner, you can't come to crete without having a gyro. All sorts of other foods available. We come here every other year and this is always our favourite x
