Hotels with sea view in Plakias

I can't even start to describe how magnificent the landscape and the sea are, or the fact of sunbathing on the cliffs almost alone, the swimming pool from which you dominate the cost and the promenade in the mountains above

Even the food was fine, while the only *very* bad thing was the house wine included in the all inclusive. The quality/price ratio is incredibly good - our bedroom even had a great view on the sea

Of course, you can't expect a Maldivian resort, but it would be ridiculous to do so for about 50 € /person per night, all inclusive, in high season

Absolutely beautiful trip! We went for a week 23rd Sept- 1st October and had the most amazing time. The scenery is beautiful, 3 pools as well as the stunning beach area. There is plenty of sun beds at all pools

The cleaners came everyday and cleaned our room and gave us fresh bedding, even noticed how we were changing the bedding for our comfort and started doing so, lovely little touches

The staff are all so happy and lovely can not do enough for you. The rooms were spacious, I do agree with some of the reviews that the bathrooms could do with a slight update

The room with seaview and the shower was nice and clean. The staff was professional. But the breakfast was not very good arranged. What a waste to not have as a buffé!

Hotel is in almost front of the beach (Main Street is between hotel and beach). sea view rooms have a picturesque view. Definitely would stay again to that hotel. Covid protocols are applied 100%

We just stayed in Plakias for a few days and we ate our / lunch. The food was really great ( sea bream and lumb. Stuff was kind and attentive and knew English very well

The hotel with a wonderful sea view. The rooms are nice neat and cleaned often. The service is nice and friendly. There is a quiet, idyllic atmosphere. Perfect for vaccation! Prices are rather mid or low.

Very beautiful resort. Excellent view of the sea. Rooms are very clean and well kept. All around a great experience.

Insects are quite noisy, throughout day and night so take your ear plugs if you're sensive ;) As a couple we would have loved one big mattress instead of 2 single beds put together but that's bearable

We stayed at Thalassa house appartements, part of Horizon Beach. Spacious clean rooms liked the design. During the evenings it is dead silent and also quiet during the day

The surrounding is very quiet and pleasent, the town is very friendly with plenty of choices from cafes to restaurants with an amazing price/value

What gave us a very bad impression was the misleading advertisement of the hotel. The main photo of the room (appearing in Google, booking etc. ) is a room with direct view to the sea

The very friendly owner who brought us a free dessert of lovely chocolate cake, and the bill, told us she had skipped my dish, because I didn't like it, which she of course absolutely did not need to do, a very friendly gesture

This review is for the restaurant. We ate here a few days ago, and I ordered a dish that was absolutely not my taste when it came. Not that it was ill prepared, just a funny taste about it which I didn't like

However, the room was rather small with uncomfortable mattress and pillow as well as poor (yet clean) bathroom and a small balcony with some sort of backyard view

The hotel has, (if at all), 1-2 rooms with sea view, as they told us, thus finding very misleading to show this as very first thing when advertising/booking a room

Room is small, balcony with sea view. The mattress and pillow were too hard for my sleeping conditions. I would prefer it to be softer. Breakfast offer is the same every day

For a 2 star hotel everything is good here. Large balcony, clean rooms, view of the sea, quiet location, continental breakfast included per person

Ideal for everyone who prefers quiet holidays, very familiar, friendly. Terrace with sea views in the room as well as on the shared breakfast terrace

I can See the beach from my room. I walk around 150 I guess to the beach. The staff is so friendly and kind. Didn't have had such a welcoming a long time. Except for people who needs space in the bathroom

It's small but for me it's not essential. In the evening the sound of the ocean on the balcony is very calming

The Hotel Lofos is beautifully located and very clean. The family is extremely friendly and accommodating. Anyone who wants to have an original, traditional Greek experience is in good hands here

Every day he speaks to all of his guests, and every day he taught us something Greek (at least tried to). We are left with a 2 star hotel. Air conditioning and a refrigerator are available at an additional cost

The other 1 star ratings are just plain bold and completely out of place. Again, only your own inability to properly inform yourself in advance (parking spaces, facilities, location) at the hotel is left out

The only thing that may have been mentioned is for people who are hard at work, It is less suitable because the access is a bit cumbersome, but only a small piece. But for everyone else highly recommended

After 3 minutes you are already on a beautiful beach and have various shops and numerous great restaurants nearby. Jannis, the owner, gave us a very friendly welcome

If you like it quiet and relaxed, you should definitely go on holiday here. The owners Janni and Irini are very nice hosts and we felt very comfortable

Or given 1 star without explanation. If you want to spend a quiet, relaxing and wonderful holiday, you are in good hands at Villa Lappa

Very beautiful and cozy hotel by The sea. Our room was spacious and brand new with so nice colors and a nice balcony looking at the yard with the olive trees and the sea towards the sunset

The rooms are simple but have everything you need and feel very authentic with their colourful doors and windows. The breakfast is served on the beautiful terrace under olive trees with a beautiful view of the bay

The architecture of the hotel is very beautiful with all the stairs and different angles. Only the Wifi in our room was poor, because our room was in the far east. The owners said they would repair that

If you want you can have dinner there too. The authentic Cretan dishes made us not want to dine anywhere else. You will feel like part of the family after a couple of days

We stayed for two weeks at this lovely hotel in the corner of Plakias. Very quiet, great breakfast and very friendly and helpfull owners and servicepersonal

The Beach in front with the Umbrellas and Sunbeds that are included are also perfect. Plakias village is a small and relaxing village to enjoy. Supermarket is in Walking Distance

However, this is no problem as they provide two powerful airconditioners that are capable enough to cool the apartment down quickly

Mine and my partners first trip away together! Made lovely, happy memories that will last a lifetime! Couldn't fault it at all

We are having a wonderfull time in out Studio. Thank you for being so friendly! The Gardens and the whole Hotelarea are so clean and full of flowers I always look around and I love it

The beach is literally a minute roll (yes roll not stroll) away. Once on the beach you’ll find a beach bar with sun beds which we believe is owned by the resort. Left and right, on the beach, there are other beach bars

Also there are many nice Beachbars and Tavernas here

We have stayed here twice now, and cannot fault the property. It is spotlessly clean, large rooms, great facilities and perfect location. Love this place!!

A wonderful place for dinner, you can't come to crete without having a gyro. All sorts of other foods available. We come here every other year and this is always our favourite x

The service was from Ross Holiday! Was some overdue maintenance. The apartment was wonderfully spacious and was kept neat and clean by friendly ladies! Top! Distance to the village was a bit disappointing.

Apartments are incredibly beautiful and clean. Built in a modern style. Kitchen is fully equipped. The garden is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Round pool, clean. View of the bay is unique.

Wonderfully quiet, just outside Plakias, yet so in the village and beach. Located on a hill, car is handy. Bakker 2 minutes walk

Basic furnishings, but everything you need is there. Is kept clean and lots of privacy. Shame about the innerspring mattresses. They are really bad for your back and hips

But when we made a comment about it, we immediately got toppers about the mattress. Good bakery across the street, so fresh bread every day

Compared to the lady visita, this Place gas reslly improved, the breakfast Is now satisfying, the air conditioned works perfectly, the owners are always nice although the man dorsn't speak a Word of English, nice location front the Sea, we' ll sure come back

They also have a small private beach with trees where u can hide during noon. Very quiet place and a plethora of taverns where you can eat and watch the sunset nearby. They also have parking available

Super Hotel. We had everything we needed. Calm room. Good beds. Nice ocean view. Simple but lovely breakfast. Spacious balcony. It's a nice area with less traffic. We can recommend it.

This was an unexpected find in a very quiet city on the south shore of Crete. The rooms are big and very clean. A very nice breakfast and the staff are amazing people

The room was really nice and well equipped. To pool is nice, not very big but does its work. The girl who works at the reception has been very kind and helpful, and she speaks an amazing english.

The appartement we stayed in was clean, spacious, with cooking facilities if needed. We also took the breakfast every day: eggs, fresh orange juice, fresh bread, not too much food

The pool and garden are very well maintained. Plakias offers plenty of restaurants and there is a lot of activity, but Manolis Appartements are situated just great so it is always quiet

We’ve stayed one week at Manolis. The owner is a very honest person. He doesn’t talk much but he clearly appreciated the fact that we were happy guests

When we come back to Crete, we will stay here agian

For us Studio Stella is the place to stay in Plakias. Nice rooms including a kitchen and balcony. But mostly we feel there the welcoming warmth of the owners. This makes us keep coming back.

First time I've stayed here, but I've been to Plakias many times. Stella has it's regulars and it's easy to see why. Basic accommodation but lovingly cared for. Would certainly think of using Stella again

Marcos and the delightful Evi..... I love them both. Such a nice couple and so welcoming. We will be back to stay with you. No fuss no frills, just a nice place to stay with honest people.
