So this is definitely a tourist factory for people that want everyone in one location but also fairly quite. Apartments are large with plenty of space and balconies. Rooms are well worth the price and the best part is proximity to the fabulous Plakias beach. Just a short walk. Town is within walking distance and many grocery markets and restaurants.

The hotel has a great location in the city center, surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and serviced daily. The view from the window is beautiful, overlooking the mountainous landscape. The food is good, and everyone will find something to enjoy.

We had half board with breakfast and dinner buffet every day. The food was very good, always fresh and a big choice, also local food. We really enjoyed it! Only small minus: in the evening no free drinks, not even water. That was a bit disappointing. But all in all, nice buffet, friendly staff, and tasty food!

Rooms were very comfortabel. Very clean. Very friendly People. For any problem, a solution is foundation. Food (breakfast and dinner) is very tasty. A lot of choice. Many thanks to the kitchen team. We felt at home from the first day. We enjoyed the greek music nights every week.

I stayed at Crete Mare probably about 20 total nights between my visits to plakias in 2021 and 2022. The rooms are very clean, the showers are a little bigger than most in crete and have glass enclosures that prevent the whole bathroom from getting wet. This was an unexpected find in a very quiet city on the south shore of Crete. The rooms are big and very clean. Strong wifi. Great view. A very nice breakfast and the staff are amazing people. They also have a small private beach with trees where u can hide during noon. Very quiet place and a plethora of taverns where you can eat and watch the sunset nearby. We’ve stayed one week at Manolis. We loved it. The owner is a very honest person. He doesn’t talk much but he clearly appreciated the fact that we were happy guests. For us Studio Stella is the place to stay in Plakias. Nice rooms including a kitchen and balcony. But mostly we feel there the welcoming warmth of the owners. This makes us keep coming back.

First time I've stayed here, but I've been to Plakias many times. Stella has it's regulars and it's easy to see why. Basic accommodation but lovingly cared for. Owner is a great guy. Would certainly think of using Stella again.

Very beautiful and cozy hotel by The sea. Our room was spacious and brand new with so nice colors and a nice balcony looking at the yard with the olive trees and the sea towards the sunset. The people were very friendly and hostile, everything so professional. Couldn’t ask for more from a place to have quiet and peace for my holidays.

We stayed for two weeks at this lovely hotel in the corner of Plakias. Very quiet, great breakfast and very friendly and helpfull owners and servicepersonal. The architecture of the hotel is very beautiful with all the stairs and different angles. Only the Wifi in our room was poor, because our room was in the far east. The owners said they would repair that.

The location is the best and the people who run the place are warm and real. Also, it seems like a secret, but the food here is world-class farm to table...easily the best in all of Plakias.

The most amazing hotel in Plakias! A true gem! Built in 2018 the rooms still have a “new feeling” with modern decor in white and light wood colours! Very good breakfast, quality beds, very friendly staff, nice little town - but windy. So rent a car is almost a must to have a pleasant holiday. From Plakias there is also a boat to some southern beaches.
