Absolutely beautiful trip! We went for a week 23rd Sept- 1st October and had the most amazing time. The scenery is beautiful, 3 pools as well as the stunning beach area. There is plenty of sun beds at all pools. The views are amazing. The staff are all so happy and lovely can not do enough for you. I am gonna have to give 4 stars The hotel, rooms could do with an update yes, However the location and service is superb, For all who think of visiting, Car rental is a must. The hotel is very isolated and extremely remote but if you have a car it's fine. Happy holidays

We stayed at Calypso Hotel for 1 night at June. The location is incredible and the people that work there very friendly and willing to help! The owner as well is very kind! The options for food were many and the room we stayed was very nice and satisfying. The place has everything you need, so it's ideal for a family with kids, as well as for a couple! It is a nice hotel with several pools. The breakfast is good too and the location is very exclusive. But it needs to have better maintenance and cleaning in the outdoor areas. I didn’t have wifi nor signal in my room :( this is good for disconnecting in holidays but maybe a big problem for others.

The most beautiful place for vacation, over the sea, beautiful sea, located in the middle of a cliff. Poor service unfriendly staff too nervous, the small details make a place great.

Small hotel in the center of Plakias with a nice pool and excellent breakfast! The staff is friendly, rooms are small but always clean. I would recommend this hotel for pairs, friends or single travellers.

The Breakfast was exceptionally good, with a nice atmosphere plenty of choices and very friendly staff from reception to breakfast. The surrounding is very quiet and pleasent, the town is very friendly with plenty of choices from cafes to restaurants with an amazing price/value. The beds were very comfy and due to the quiet environment sleeping was a bliss.

We spent 10 wonderful days in this charming and peaceful hotel. Furniture is made of beautiful wood which is relaxing! Swimming pool has 1 area for children and 1 area to swim. Beach and shops are only 150 meters away. Staff is so kind! Thanks. Will come back!

The most amazing hotel in Plakias! A true gem! Built in 2018 the rooms still have a “new feeling” with modern decor in white and light wood colours! The rooms and spotless and the staff are super friendly. The pictures on their site are not deceiving. Would definitely come back to this place! 5* all the way!

A true boutique hotel run by wonderful people. The facilities are brand new. Beautiful design. The breakfast is fresh and homemade with local products. Everything is bright white and clean. The welcome makes you feel like home. Plakias area is a great choice as there is everything one may need in walking distance. There are beautiful beaches every mile, both east and west. The room with seaview and the shower was nice and clean. The staff was professional. But the breakfast was not very good arranged. What a waste to not have as a buffé!

Nice venue and great location. Hotel is in almost front of the beach (Main Street is between hotel and beach). sea view rooms have a picturesque view. Definitely would stay again to that hotel. Covid protocols are applied 100%. Box for garbages is missing in the room.

We just stayed in Plakias for a few days and we ate our / lunch. dinner.. The food was really great ( sea bream and lumb.. octopus it was very good.. Stuff was kind and attentive and knew English very well. Thank you so much.

On the positives I should mention the friendly staff (ready to provide useful information), the excellent breakfast, the clean rooms, and the good/central location (near supermarkets, restaurants etc.). Just barely off the main strip, this hotel was a nice stay for us. So easy to walk down to the strip to find a bite to eat or just go for a stroll through town. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included, though we don't actually eat breakfast. If we ever come back to visit Crete, this will be our first option. Thank you, staff, for a wonderful stay. Ευχαριστώ πολύ

Great small, family hotel, convenient located for exploring south Crete, close to shops & restaurants - spent there a week in October. Parking available and free. Rooms small but nice and clean, delicious breakfasts - large selection. Friendly and helpful staff.

As concerns the cleanliness, the hotel is spotless. But, by the photos I hadn't realise that it was an old renovated hotel as well as I was expecting bigger rooms.

This review is for the restaurant. We ate here a few days ago, and I ordered a dish that was absolutely not my taste when it came. Not that it was ill prepared, just a funny taste about it which I didn't like. The very friendly owner who brought us a free dessert of lovely chocolate cake, and the bill, told us she had skipped my dish, because I didn't like it, which she of course absolutely did not...

Simply a must poppets. Had a superb outdoor evening meal at the restaurant here and couldn't fault it. Will defo be visiting again.

We stayed there 7 days in total. It was by far our best experience ever in a hotel( though it has just 3.5 stars). The staff were really friendly, helpful and kind. The food was really good we just missed the lamb dishes in the dinner buffet. But all in all a fantastic experience.

Vacation in Alianthos Garden was absolutely perfect. It was sparklingly clean and looks exactly as it is in the photos. The views were just amazing and we had access into the sea which was great although. The hotel room is very spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. We were in this hotel 9 days with half-board. The room is clean and fresh. There was everything that I needed. The one thing that was disturbing me was sound isolation. It is not so good as I would wish. The territory is green and nice. Everywhere is really very clean. The swimming pool was warm enough. A bit difficult to get to the places, but was still possible. Great view of the beach, clean room with very meticulous room service, very pleasant personell in general. Only gripe would be the very artificial taste of some of the marmalades.

A wonderful place for dinner, you can't come to crete without having a gyro. All sorts of other foods available. We come here every other year and this is always our favourite x
