We spend 3 nights in Kalypso and the experience of having such a beautiful nature around was breathtaking. Rooms clean, spacious with balcony. mountain and sea view. breakfast and dinner with nice selection of local products , everyday freshly prepared. Thank you Kalypso

The hotel is in need of serious refurbishing. The rooms are spacious and offer amenities such as a small kitchen, a tv, a hairdryer (very old) and enough storage space. There was a rather weird construction done in the bathroom in order to build an additional shower outside the bathtub. Bathroom has no real ventilation and ac in the room was leaking. The Breakfast was exceptionally good, with a nice atmosphere plenty of choices and very friendly staff from reception to breakfast. The surrounding is very quiet and pleasent, the town is very friendly with plenty of choices from cafes to restaurants with an amazing price/value. The beds were very comfy and due to the quiet environment sleeping was a bliss.

Small hotel in the center of Plakias with a nice pool and excellent breakfast! The staff is friendly, rooms are small but always clean. I would recommend this hotel for pairs, friends or single travellers.

We stayed in July at the Belvedere apartments in Plakias , Crete , I was compelled to write a review because of the amazing standard of service we received. From the moment we arrived the level of service was excellent. Impeccably clean rooms and the attention to detail was outstanding. Great spacious apartment cleaned spotlessly every day by Esmeralda, the reception happy young lady was so helpful and eager to please… Evgenia brought our high-quality breakfast with enthusiasm and efficiency… walking distance from the extended beach and all amenities.. we highly recommend it!

Great stay at Belvedere again. The rooms are s great size and very clean. Has everything we need.. small kitchen.. sitting area.. comfortable bed. The staff are always fantastic... very helpful. Wonderful Apart-Hotel in a great location for exploring this part of Southern Crete. Very Welcoming and lovely staff who always made us Welcome with a Special mention to the Service maid who was Exceptional with her duties and always had a smile ! I've just returned from a wonderful stay at the Alianthos Beach Hotel/Anthos Apartments. I have visited this family run hotel a number of times over the past 15 years and it never disappoints. With recent renovations including the seaside restaurant right by the wonderful Plakias beach it just gets even better. The wonderful breakfast they serve in the morning really sets you up for a day exploring...

Great beachfront location. Good size rooms with comfy bedding. WiFi did not work in the room, and show curtain cuts shower space in half. Minor things really. Overall a good stay.

First, there is NO swimming pool in this hotel! Dear Trip.com team, you should change this in your description of facilities for this hotel. The photos of the pool in the description are from the big hotel next door. And it is quite a small (!) pool, no way it is a "kingsize" pool. The hotel itself is OK, the restaurant is good, the staff is friendly. But the absence of the pool was a big disappointment...

We love this family run hotel, always a great welcome. They arrange our airport pickup and journey back. Always happy to help.the views of the beach, marina and mountains is wonderful and sitting under the trees in the evening with pretty lights above is mesmerising.

Just left the hotel after two weeks. We suggest it to you for many reasons, like the position in Plakias (at the middle of the bay), the special meals on the sea, the clean room (they cleaned it every day) and above all for the available and nice staff. Happy holidays!

Beautiful clean hotel with good proximity to Plakias and plenty of free parking. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options with different types of eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh vegetables, Greek yogurt with many add-ins, cereal, and numerous pastry options, fresh juices, and an espresso machine. We are very glad we chose to stay at this hotel and we will stay again if we’re back in the area.

Yet another great 2 weeks at Sofia (3rd visit) , location great, rooms clean and comfortable, great choice for breakfast, nothing more to add other than booked again for next year, thanks to all the team at sofia, see you next year :-).

Great and very friendly family run Hotel with a super breakfast buffet. Free parking around the corner as well as access to a lot of restaurants and shops. Highly recommended if you look for accommodation in the area of Plakias.

Great location within resort. Rooms are well decorated and equipped. The beds are enormous and very comfortable. Rooms are cleaned every day and bedding and towels changed every 3 days. Family run to a very high standard. Excellent breakfast every day with lots of choice.

I stayed at this hotel three times and found it great. Central location. Very clean, comfortable rooms. The staff tries hard and helps with any issues. Breakfast buffet was very good, I could find everything I wanted. Plakias is a beautiful place with plenty outstanding beaches and walking routes nearby. If I return to Plakia, I’ll book this hotel again for sure!

The hotel has a great location in the city center, surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean and serviced daily. The view from the window is beautiful, overlooking the mountainous landscape. The food is good, and everyone will find something to enjoy.

We had half board with breakfast and dinner buffet every day. The food was very good, always fresh and a big choice, also local food. We really enjoyed it! Only small minus: in the evening no free drinks, not even water. That was a bit disappointing. But all in all, nice buffet, friendly staff, and tasty food!
