We spent 10 wonderful days in this charming and peaceful hotel. Furniture is made of beautiful wood which is relaxing! Swimming pool has 1 area for children and 1 area to swim. Beach and shops are only 150 meters away

The most amazing hotel in Plakias! A true gem! Built in 2018 the rooms still have a “new feeling” with modern decor in white and light wood colours! The rooms and spotless and the staff are super friendly

Plakias area is a great choice as there is everything one may need in walking distance. There are beautiful beaches every mile, both east and west. Thank you! Cant wait till next time !

Awesome location ! 1 minute from the beach and a good place to start a hike the opposite way. The service and staff was 🤩 I felt like I was talking to family. The rooms had everything included. Perfect place.

Nice and clean. Professional staff. Great pool. The rooms have pretty old beds, and the kitchen lacks utensils. The location is probably the biggest plus.

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge variety of food for every taste, all replaced frequently. The crowning glory however has to be the ever smiling staff and management team, always friendly and always helpful

The wonderful breakfast they serve in the morning really sets you up for a day exploring this lovely part of Crete. In the coming days the hotel taverna right on the beach will also be open as the weather hots up

We were visiting Plakias for the first time, our requirements were simple, a hotel close to the beach, a clean room with a sea view and a comfortable bed. The Alianthos delivered all this and more

I've just returned from a wonderful stay at the Alianthos Beach Hotel/Anthos Apartments. I have visited this family run hotel a number of times over the past 15 years and it never disappoints

Plakias is not a party resort, but there are plenty of bars and tavernas all along the lovely promenade, providing a great evening out

Our transfers organised by the hotel were smooth. We will definitely return and would recommend this hotel and the resort of Plakias

(+): There was a mini fridge, a fan in the bathoom, the room was a nice size, it even included a crib (although we didn't need it), there was a divider between our porch and the neighboring porch

The view is amazing, 'nice' is an understatment, its breathtaking! The host was amazing and extremely friendly and helpfull with information about the area,food,walks etc

The owners were super welcoming and friendly! The view is just amazing! We had a room with a balcony and would just sit there with some wine and look at the mountains:)

However, the tv (satellite?) was a little spotty and while there were of course wall outlets, there were not too many. Another note: it is on a pretty steep hill

We drove around it from the bottom and top, wondering what to do (we were concerned with our rental car). We finally parked at the top and just walked down

We even got coffee in the morning! The room was perfect. clean, with everything we needed, anyghing else all we had to do was ask!

We really had relaxing time there. Comfortable bed, good breakfast , we tried a la carte restaurant and we really liked it. Sun beds are super comfortable , lots of cabanas , you have your privacy

I have stayed at quite a few high end hotels for work and holidays, and I would say La Mer ranks highly because of its location, vibe and above all else their excellent staff

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, the facilities are new, the restaurant is delicious, and the service staff are very professional and enthusiastic. I recommend it to all Chinese people visiting Crete! !

Wonderful Hospitality Apologies for the late review, but I just had to share what an incredible experience we had during our stay in Crete last October! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by the friendly staff

My experience at Sofia Resort Luxury Suites exceeded expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spacious, clean and wonderful decorated

On the way to the beach, which is in nice walk distance, there are markets, bus stops and local train stations, where you can book a variety of trips. We had an amazing time and wish to come back again!

We stayed at the hotel last week for 7 days and the whole experience was incredible! Starting with the staff that was always smiling, kind and willing to serve, so that the services provided to be at their best

Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Food was excellent quality and plentiful. Drinks were free flowing and the waiters filled glasses immediately upon seeing them empty. Waiters were fast and very helpful

It is also a good location to explore west and central part of the island. Renting a car is super easy so that if you plan to explore Crete a bit it is an excellent choice

Bar staff will make your drinks strong! Just saying :) STAFF - it doesn't matter if it it reception, restaurant, bar or cleaning ladies - everyone are nice, helpful and want to make your stay they best it can be

Summer, sun, peace, sea - that's what you will find at Pepper Sea Club Hotel. We strongly recommend the baskets on the beach for 20

The sun is very strong at the moment and in these baskets it is pleasant, quiet with a fantastic view of Cape Drakanos

Their food is delicious and they have a good selection, they provided an amazing service at every step

Beautyfull house with history! Lovely details! Wonderful breakfast place on the seaside! The street outside is very busy and loud, but not in the hotel! The staff is very kind and friendly!

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent, comfy beds, great staff and it's on the sea! The beach nearby is pebbly and it's a 25 minute walk to the old town - not a huge amount to do in the immediate area, but the hotel itself more than makes up for that!

Restaurant was top tier, food was great, service was great, seafood moussaka not so much, order anything else, you will thank me for it, will stay here again next year

We had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight, so the staff packed us a nice breakfast the night before and left it in the mini fridge in our room for us

The location is a bit far from Old town Rethymno a 30 minute walk but the local bus, walk or taxi will get you there fast. The upside is you are on the beach and have loungers and a semi private beach at your disposal

In addition, the hotel restaurant is top (brilliant setting and very good food)

So always present at the right time. The food was fantastic, fresh and tasty like the Greek land. Great price: bottle of wine, two appetizers, two first courses, water and covered for a total of 30 euros each

Welcome to ancient Greece, elegant and refined place, ideal for couples. Top service, The waiters do not seem to be there but when you are about to finish the wine in the glass they have already filled it

The nice thing is that with 60 euros you eat delicious things seeing the sea and the rocks

We spent a week at the Delfina ART hotel. We are very pleased with the entire stay. The rooms are large, spacious and clean. I especially recommend the rooms on the first floor with a beautiful view of the mountains

The apartments have kitchenettes with basic equipment, such as dishes, pots, cutlery. Air conditioning, despite the extreme heat, works fine. Food - both breakfasts and dinners served in the form of a buffet

a lot of cereals, cookies, jams, pancakes) and for dinner (e. fresh fruit, baklava, ice cream). Coffee, tea, and juices are included in the breakfast price. Drinks with dinner are payable additionally

The pool is small, but enough for a swim. Not far from the beach- just across the road. Bus stops to Chania or Rethymno are right outside the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful

Everything was excellent! The beach, George is a gem, the food is fantastic, an excellent assortment of delicious foods through out the meals , and also Maria from the restaurant is brilliant and very kind! Much appreciation for Esmeralda from Aegeo Spa, her hands are like a fairy! The rooms are spacy and very clean, housekeeping does an amazing job, and all the ladies are amazing!

We have visited the hotel in August 2024. Location is good as you have a supermarket right in front and couple of good restraunts if you feel like dining out. 30 mins drive to Chania for a bigger city vibe

The sea water is beautiful and clear! - the food in the main restaurant is very good - many types of meat (including duck and rabbit), vegetables sides, salads, pasta / pizza bar

Additional thing worth mentioning is Aegeo SPA in the hotel itself, you can negotiate good prices. Terry, who is in charge of the SPA is amazing, friendly and nice

- there is "early breakfast concept" which was very nice for us! we left the hotel at 4 AM and was very helpful to have something to eat on the way to the airport - on the other side of the hotel are some super markets and souvenir stores, where you can find everything you need - there is a nice tennis court - extra fee (we paid 10 euros, 3 persons, for an hour)

We cannot describe how thankful we are for the holiday we had at this hotel. Everyone was super friendly and helpful especially with our two kids. We arrived at 2:30 am due to the delay of our flight

Coffee and fresh orange juice were not included in the breakfast, which was very disappointing. In general, you pay extra for anything not included in the room and breakfast, which makes the stay feel less comfortable

The biggest issue was the bathroom. It was constantly humid, had a bad smell, and the shower flooded the floor every time because there was no door. The water also didn’t heat up immediately, which was unpleasant

The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by glass doors and walls – they weren’t transparent, so technically private, but still felt uncomfortable and not very practical. The glass door itself also felt unstable

Orpheas Resort is a beautiful, tranquil, homely hotel. The staff are simply excellent and certainly help the stay to be as good as it possibly could be

I would rate my stay as 3 stars. The location is beautiful and quiet, with an amazing beach where you really feel immersed in nature. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and my room overall was fine

Just back from a week at the Orpheas Resort and had a wonderfully relaxing time. Staff are friendly, food is diverse, and tasty. The pools are well maintained and the atmosphere is magical.

Good hotel , well located, and with many options We met wonderful people working there: Ms Roula and Ms Georgia Not good points: They charge you 6€ for a bucket of ice delivered to your room, and 6€ to use beach chairs.

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days with the family for summer vacation. We've stayed at the hotel multiple times as the staff here are personable and friendly. Our kids love the food, the beach and the area in general

It’s only a small pool so not many beds. Food and drinks were good as well. Lots of different varieties so we never went hungry. The beach was lovely with the best sun loungers as well, really comfy which was a bonus

We had the most wonderful stay at Eliros Mare in Crete! The hotel was absolutely beautiful; stylish, spotless, beautiful grounds and perfectly located

Only issue we had in the room was the smell. Most days there was a sewage smell when we ran the tap. But it quickly disappeared after a few minutes. The pool area was stunning with super comfy beds as well

The beach bar was great as well. The staff are absolutely incredible. Always on hand to help with everything! They arranged a trip to Samaria gorge and even did us breakfast and lunch which was sweet

We opted to leave the room at this time but had to pay €30 for the 2 of us to eat and drink for the day. Slightly disappointing as we missed the all inclusive on the first day of arriving

The only downfall was having to pay extra on our last day for all inclusive. We had an evening flight and had to be out of the room by 11am

After two days of permanent complaints, we succeeded to change the room. Sleep-deprived and totally upset we finally got a room in one of the bungalows. The rest of our stay was fine

The window of the room faced west, so there was as hot as in a stove in the evenings and the air conditioning could be switched only when the key was in the scanner inside the room

We couldn't open the window due to noise from the highway and couldn't sleep with AC switched on because the stream of cold air blew directly on our heads

The food and drink was good, especially the included breakfast. We loved the location between Chania and Heraklion for sightseeing. The town of Rethymno was charming with good food and shopping

Pool was lovely but unheated. Friends got massages at the spa and were pleased with the results

Cleaning and breakfast buffet staff were great! We had one miserable male night manager front desk person who seamed to be upset about us asking for more toilet paper and made me get it out of the lobby washroom

The evening patio dining and bar overlooked the ocean and although the menu was not as expansive, there were quite a lot of beverage options. The room we had was one of the suites, and met all of our needs

We did enjoy our stay very much. The rooms were big enough for 4 people and quiet as well as clean. The pool area though is too small - most beds were always taken and the water is very warm

Stuff changed shower tub by our request. we had room on 5th flour and nice view on harbor and Fortecia, Hotel doesn't have own parking, but it's good free parking near by

The staff were so kind! The manager asked us multiple times if everything was alright and always wanted to talk to us. It was extremley clean, tidy and it was beautiful with marble floors everywhere

The staff and their manager, Mr. The hotel has its own pool with sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as a pool bar. The breakfast offers a good selection and the kitchen is trying to fulfill special wishes as well

Not only was it very tastefully put together, all the facilities and amenities of very good standard, but the staff there really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and it made such a huge difference to how much we enjoyed our time there

The pool is not kids friendly as it is deep everywhere. The pool was also quite dirty. The breakfast was advertised to be good but it was a disappointment

In front of hotel is sandy beach with enough sunbeds and umbrellas for all the guests. Food in the restaurant is tasty and with very good variety

Great hotel! My husband and I stayed from April 28th to May 5th and had a very nice time. All the employees were very nice and smiling, they always offered help and advice (especially the reception staff and waiters)

Gusto restaurant was amazing food. Thematic restaurant was also very good. Found some nationalities rude and self important. Lack of lifts and incomplete handrails which for me having mobility issues was challenging

5* food options and a varied selection for everyone. We booked a romantic meal at the Beach Restaurant , the best Greek meze ever! I wish I could cook lamb like that
