A gem in the mountain. You feel peaceful as soon as you arrive, although it is 15 min drive from the coast. Very nicely renovated, with plenty of places to sit and relax. Myself and my partner had a terrific experience at this hidden gem of a hotel in Crete. We were upgraded to a beautiful, spacious room with all the character of the old monastery and our own private pool. The restaurant is stunning with lush vegetation and the food is simply top notch. Would come here any day without hesitation. If you can, try the spicy cheese spread. You will not regret it.

Jenny was a lovely host. so attentive and kind, our apartment was very clean and well kept. Jenny even moved us into an upgraded room on request out of good will, which was lovely. we have a great time with lots to do around the location. pool area was really well kept… peaceful and tranquil

It is an excellent place as a base for visits all over Crete. You can also order either breakfast or lunch by the pool and the pool is way cleaner than all the others I’ve visited so far. It is also quiet because it is surrounded only by nature. One of the most clean and organized apartments in Crete.

We loved the villa, the village, and exploring the surrounding area. George was a perfect host. He went out of his way to help us. We could not have asked for better.

A house that you would build yourself - with attention to every detail! Is a bit remote, so that a vehicle is a "must". The service is exemplary, cleaning twice a week! Incredibly friendly landlords who stock the fridge for the day of arrival, also donate a cake and invite us to a restaurant in Rethymno - where else can you find something like that? Tucked away on a quiet road a couple of kilometres from a delightful beach, should you need it, I doubt you will, but it's nice to know its there. The house is ready to holiday in as if you had moved into a new home; everything is provided from a spoon, to a washing line. You won't need a thing except your luggage and food; supermarket close by.

We spend one week in the Villa and never had the feeling that something is lacking or needs to be topped up. The interiors and equipment are in great shape and the Villa is very comfortable for 6 adults. The owner is very kind and helpful.

We stayed in Villa 1, it was amazing. From stepping foot in the place Mrs. Sonia presented us with a Moussaka! Just what we needed after a long journey. The service from Valia at Think Villa was outstanding throughout. The place is so quiet just what we needed. If you can ask for the chef service one night, a team come to the villa and make you the best meal you’ll have in Crete. We’ll be back.

The villa is brilliant, very private and with large grounds and great views - there is a villa above that shares some of the drive, but you are not overlooked or disturbed by it. Very nice accommodation and very nice landlord Everything is there that you need for a great holiday. The house is secluded and therefore privacy is protected. The upper house is also conveniently located and you cannot see the pool area from there.

Beautiful area. A perfectly maintained house and a great cleanliness. The pool is perfect for children with a slope of 1.15 to 1.45m. The owner is very friendly and considerate. The village is very typical and has 3 taverns and a mini market. We love the calm of the place.

Eva, Dimitri and the extended family made me very welcome from Day 1. Returning after a year’s break it felt like visiting family again. The hotel is always clean and tidy and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The Thalassi Taverna is always a great venue in the evening even when there is no entertainment. Just back from a wonderful week at Thalassi Hotel. It's not posh or fancy and the sunbeds could do with an upgrade but that's more than made up by the friendliness of the owners, Dmitri and Eva and the staff. The hospitality is first class. The pool area and facilities are spotless, we felt very welcome and at home. Food is outstanding. I first came here 20 years ago and will definately be back

We had a great stay at Grace hotel! The hotel was nice, clean, and had a great location in Reythmno. The delicious tasting food that Nikitas prepared (as you see in the pictures) with local fresh ingredients. Stavroula and Nikitas were great hosts, they were so welcoming and friendly and guided us to the most beautiful destinations in Crete ! I recommend this place and would definitely come back!

I truly recomand this hotel! The food is really tasty, especially the sweets. The rooms have AC and the towels are changed daily. The pool is near to the beach, also it includes a bar. You can swim in the sea and in the pool whenever you want, you don’t have to choose one of them. Also, we really enjoyed playing table tennis (to balance the new kilos due to the buffet).

Very good accomodation in the middle of Crete. Clean rooms and a very nice pool and bar. Cleaning and fresh towels every other day. Rethymnon is only 10 mins away by car. You really need a rental car.

We've been for two years running. Good for children with pool shallow area and pool toys. Cot and high chair provided on request. Kitchette size better than most aparthotels. Lovely big room, amazing bathroom, great swimming pool. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the snacks and drinks were a reasonable price. Will definitely recommend. Drive out to some lovely beaches with amazing tavernas for food. Plenty of local places to eat including Elevens bar on the beach.

Villa had an unique decoration with branded materials and it was great located near by a private beach only a few meters away. Rooms were spacious and very clean. This place looks the part and the rooms are nice. However, the food whilst it looks good is just kind of bland and the service in the bar very poor with waiters who clearly would rather be somewhere else. Incredibly loud entertainment and fitness events in the main pool were just awful if you want to relax.
