A gem in the mountain. You feel peaceful as soon as you arrive, although it is 15 min drive from the coast. Very nicely renovated, with plenty of places to sit and relax. Myself and my partner had a terrific experience at this hidden gem of a hotel in Crete. The restaurant is stunning with lush vegetation and the food is simply top notch. Would come here any day without hesitation. If you can, try the spicy cheese spread. You will not regret it.

As it was in the mountains the temperature was a little cooler and a nice pool to cool off after a hot day on the beach etc

A house that you would build yourself - with attention to every detail! Is a bit remote, so that a vehicle is a "must". The service is exemplary, cleaning twice a week! Incredibly friendly landlords who stock the fridge for the day of arrival, also donate a cake and invite us to a restaurant in Rethymno - where else can you find something like that? Tucked away on a quiet road a couple of kilometres from a delightful beach, should you need it, I doubt you will, but it's nice to know its there. The house is ready to holiday in as if you had moved into a new home; everything is provided from a spoon, to a washing line. You won't need a thing except your luggage and food; supermarket close by.

We spend one week in the Villa and never had the feeling that something is lacking or needs to be topped up. The interiors and equipment are in great shape and the Villa is very comfortable for 6 adults. The owner is very kind and helpful.

We stayed in Villa 1, it was amazing. From stepping foot in the place Mrs. Sonia presented us with a Moussaka! Just what we needed after a long journey. The service from Valia at Think Villa was outstanding throughout. The place is so quiet just what we needed. Very nice accommodation and very nice landlord Everything is there that you need for a great holiday. The house is secluded and therefore privacy is protected. The upper house is also conveniently located and you cannot see the pool area from there.

Beautiful area. A perfectly maintained house and a great cleanliness. The pool is perfect for children with a slope of 1.15 to 1.45m. The owner is very friendly and considerate. The village is very typical and has 3 taverns and a mini market. We love the calm of the place.

Eva, Dimitri and the extended family made me very welcome from Day 1. Returning after a year’s break it felt like visiting family again. The hotel is always clean and tidy and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The Thalassi Taverna is always a great venue in the evening even when there is no entertainment. Just back from a wonderful week at Thalassi Hotel. It's not posh or fancy and the sunbeds could do with an upgrade but that's more than made up by the friendliness of the owners, Dmitri and Eva and the staff. The hospitality is first class. We stayed there for 12 days in July, the place is absolutely perfect for families. It is located in a very quiet are with some cafes and a grocery store nearby. The flats are very comfortable, clean and literally a few steps from the pool and the sandy beach. Here I spent a wonderful time. We will surely come back.

I truly recomand this hotel! The food is really tasty, especially the sweets. The rooms have AC and the towels are changed daily. The pool is near to the beach, also it includes a bar. You can swim in the sea and in the pool whenever you want, you don’t have to choose one of them. Also, we really enjoyed playing table tennis (to balance the new kilos due to the buffet).

Villa had an unique decoration with branded materials and it was great located near by a private beach only a few meters away. Rooms were spacious and very clean. This place looks the part and the rooms are nice. However, the food whilst it looks good is just kind of bland and the service in the bar very poor with waiters who clearly would rather be somewhere else. Incredibly loud entertainment and fitness events in the main pool were just awful if you want to relax.

Starting from food to entertainment and staff all and all were amazing during our stay. There are different pools which one can use base on his preference and the beaches are all tidy and well equipped. The room was also super clean and equipped with fridge and air conditioner.

This place was awesome. What they don’t tell you or show good photos of us the amazing water slides! We all had great fun for hours on the slides. Great hospitality and although some people commented on sewage smells - we didn’t notice that problem.

A wonderful, luxurious hotel where you will find pure pleasure while staying there. You will also find great entertainment for your children, a big pool area for kids and a private beach bay. The big variety of food, the very friendly hotel staff and the awesome rooms will make you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. The hotel offers four pool areas, a nice gym and a lovely spa.

Great location, great food options, although buffet food a bit tepid. Local taxis, even those booked by hotel charge €95 for airport transfers yet hotel insists price of their taxi "partners" is €130. After spending €1000s to stay here the captive audience profiteering is the reason I've only gave 4 stars.

Our second visit to White Palace and our third using Grecotel. Cleanliness, good food and helpful staff are the key ingredients to any hotel and the White Palace delivers.
