The Aquila Rithymna Beach is rated as a 5 star hotel possibly because of the proximity to the beach, waterpark and children's facilities, it's an ideal family hotel, however in my opinion it isn't suitable for couples or single people. We stayed at this hotel for seven days and had an amazing time. A lot of the included restaurants have amazing food, breakfast is really great in choice. Mine and my partner’s stay at the Luxme white was absolutely fantastic from the location to the food and facilities were amazing. Everyday there was always something to do with amazing evening activities for everyone to get involved with the rooms were superb with amazing air conditioning. Good value for money. Way to the beach is through the Maravel Hotel, about 200 meters from the reception. The food was varied and tasty. But there are small little things, that can be improved relatively easily and cheaply, for me I would put another trash in the room, hang curtains around the bed lounges and repair the machines in the gym - half is out of order. The hotel was unprepared as neither of our two rooms were ready and instead we were put in a different room which was barely up to standard. The next day we were supposed to get our rooms after 10:00 but they have pushed back the time every time we asked. Just choose a different hotel.

It is almost like home. Damage to the mosquitoes and the restaurant available. But the shopping street to 100 m if one wants to eat. Swimming pool too cold but very well maintained. Pleasant garden with shady palm trees for those who wish.

It was a lovely place🌴🥰🍹, the rooms where clean. The food is good and tasty 😋 The staff were very friendly, helpful and smiling🤗(Demis😉💛). The hotel is located on a hill, near city centre and beach🏖. There is pool for kids and a nice clean pool for adults. Good experience. I suggest families to visit. Thanks💛

This place deserves a much higher rating, it was a lovely place to stay, food was nice, the rooms where clean and where maintained everyday all with a balcony or porch area. there was a shuttle to the beach and the staff where lovely The only semi issues where that cocktails where not included in the all inclusive (however they where rather cheap)

Fab location, the hotel is well managed by the lovely Mr Polyrios and his assistant Vozalia. Its constantly cleaned, towels changed everyday. Location is brill, 5 mins from the seafront. The restaurant food is tasty, the staff, Tako and Shako are stars. Thanks to you both.

Dear Polyvios, thank you again for our wonderful place to stay while being on Crete. I have to point out that I loved the very clean rooms with clean towels every day, that was very comfy. Also the food was very good and I liked that it was so native. It was near to the beach and also near to the main road with shopping and bars, but very silent for a good sleep. Nice hotel if you want to relax in calm and clean appartment with pool, near to the beach and restaurants. In thr center of small place with some shops, 15 min by bus to the Rethymno. I love Crete ❤️

The hotel is a good choice for moderate comfortable and calm vacation. Apartments include needed commodities: WiFi, conditioner and small kitchen with cutlery. Rooms are cleaning every day. Personnel is assistant and attentive. Breakfasts are good and suitable to eat according to the plate rule. There is a swimming pool. The beach is about 5 minutes by foot. It was our first trip to Crete and Ariadne Hotel was a very good host. Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean, nice swimming pool, 2 minutes walk from the beach. 5 km away from the old city of Rethymno (waiting for the local bus can take up to one hour ), but plenty of good restaurants right next to the hotel.

It is a lovely hotel with a very good location and with nice staff. Our room and the hotel was clean, altough the furnitures in the rooms are old. For me the shower was a little bit uncomfortable, and the bed was noisy, but it's totally worth it for the price. In my opinion the breakfast was not very tasty, the eggs and the cold meals (salami etc) were not good, the coffe from the machine is bad. So...
