Mine and my partner’s stay at the Luxme white was absolutely fantastic from the location to the food and facilities were amazing. Everyday there was always something to do with amazing evening activities for everyone to get involved with the rooms were superb with amazing air conditioning. Would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning in the future

Great location, great food options, although buffet food a bit tepid. Local taxis, even those booked by hotel charge €95 for airport transfers yet hotel insists price of their taxi "partners" is €130. After spending €1000s to stay here the captive audience profiteering is the reason I've only gave 4 stars.

Superb hotel and resort, with excellent restaurants and customer service. The pool areas are lovely and the beach is sandy with a beautiful, clear and warm sea.

Without question the best run hotel I have ever stayed at. Every single detail is perfect. Every single staff member is excellent. The food in the buffet and restaurants is exceptional. Stop looking for your hotel in the area this is the one.

Eva, Dimitri and the extended family made me very welcome from Day 1. Returning after a year’s break it felt like visiting family again. The hotel is always clean and tidy and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The Thalassi Taverna is always a great venue in the evening even when there is no entertainment. Will defo want to be going back next year.

Eva, Demitri and all the Staff make you feel like family. For a 3 star hotel this place is 1st class. Rooms are adequate and clean. Just back from a wonderful week at Thalassi Hotel. It's not posh or fancy and the sunbeds could do with an upgrade but that's more than made up by the friendliness of the owners, Dmitri and Eva and the staff. The hospitality is first class. The pool area and facilities are spotless, we felt very welcome and at home. Food is outstanding. I first came here 20 years ago and will definately be back

Not a 5 star! The hot Food was Cold, And not much selection. Staff seemed grumpy except a few waiting staff. Lacked communication. Tatty sunbeds. The only thing good about this hotel was the beach and clean rooms.

I truly recomand this hotel! The food is really tasty, especially the sweets. The rooms have AC and the towels are changed daily. The pool is near to the beach, also it includes a bar. You can swim in the sea and in the pool whenever you want, you don’t have to choose one of them. Also, we really enjoyed playing table tennis (to balance the new kilos due to the buffet).

Clean and good value for money

We stayed here for five days and all the staff were so welcoming and eager to please, we felt right at home. There is a beach right across the road which was lovely. Our room was basic but clean, the showers were quite cold but with the hot weather this wasn't much of an issue! The pool was a bit green and murky, we did swim but maybe not as often as we would have liked as it could have been cleaner...

I stayed there for 7 days. It was a pleasant stay with minor problems, for example wifi was terrible - signal strength and reach was weak. Food was tasty and diverse for this standard. The best thing about the place were the people working there, mutual respect goes a long way :)

Great service. The hotel is located literally in the middle of nowhere so renting a car is a must. Rooms were cleaned everyday, food was great. A/C worked without a flaw.

We stayed there for 12 days in July, the place is absolutely perfect for families. It is located in a very quiet are with some cafes and a grocery store nearby. The flats are very comfortable, clean and literally a few steps from the pool and the sandy beach. Here I spent a wonderful time. We will surely come back.

A gem in the mountain. You feel peaceful as soon as you arrive, although it is 15 min drive from the coast. Very nicely renovated, with plenty of places to sit and relax. Myself and my partner had a terrific experience at this hidden gem of a hotel in Crete. We were upgraded to a beautiful, spacious room with all the character of the old monastery and our own private pool. Real gem of a hotel- rooms are lovely with air con throughout. Spotlessly clean & amazing staff - Andrianna is lovely - helpful and informative. Food & drink nice & reasonably priced. You can take your own snacks & drinks to the pool as well which is great. The hill down to Sfakaki is quite steep - ok for us but could be difficult with a pram or if you had any mobility issues.
