Excellent hotel for an excellent price just on the edge of the more active part of town. A small nightclub one street over which you cannot even hear when the windows are closed. Since they have airconditioning you’ll want the windows closed anyway! The owner was very nice and accommodating. Luckily our room was available early so we were able to put our stuff down and get into our bathing suits. We went straight to the beach.
Location wise this is just on the edge of the more active part of town where all the shops and restaurants are. It’s a very short walk from the ferry. It’s also only one or two streets away from the main intersection to go outside of the main town and head to the beaches etc. Very convenient.
The Hotel is also very beautiful with nice stone floors and dark wood framed windows, balconies and railings. The beds were very nice and look like they have been replaced recently. This hotel retains the classic Skopelos appearance.
My tip is to pay the few extra euros for the sea view room as we did. It was well worth it.

Comfy beds, clean rooms. A bit noisy from the night club just next to it. Be prepared to bring some ear plugs. Nice view from the balcony. (Sea side)

Do not drop a coffee in Hotel Anneli, Skopelos:
We booked this hotel because we liked the good rating, location and price. The hotel is owned and run by an old lady, which seemed to be very friendly at first. Unfortunately, the good impressions ended after we dropped a bit of coffee in the room. Of course, we offered to pay for the cleaning and for any inconvenience. However, the owner became very rude and even her son was insulting us. So, we decided to pay and to leave. Since we didn’t had cash, we wanted to pay by card. The owner told us that they do not accept cards which are not balanced in euros and that we must pay by cash (conventional mastercard). After withdrawing money and paying for the nights, we left with a bad taste from a beautiful island. In conclusion, we do not recommend this place.

Great little place! Great value friendly service, clean and updated, short walk from everywhere. Ideal for your vacation to skopelos as you spend most of your time on the beach and out and about. Highly recommend from a hospitality professional.

Good place to stay at Skopelos! The owner was very helpful, the room was spotless clean and with all the things we needed. They did a good job in terms of the hygiene standards under covid situation. Thanks to the owner, the places they recommended to eat when we asked were amazing and I would never find them myself.

Family-run hotel, decent rooms, very convenient location, less than 5 mins away from the port. Shops-wise, you’ve got everything that you might need within short walking distance. The owner is very knowledgeable, well-educated, with very good taste for a Greek man. When we asked him, he recommended to us some unbelievably good local restaurants. Covid-safe, low key, good value for money. We will be happy to stay there again and spend more time chatting with the owner.
