The hotel location is pretty good. Staff speaks German as well. The rooms are very clean but could use a 21st century update. Unfortunately the towel policy is a bit odd. We got one medium sized towel for the whole stay and a literal table cloth for the pool/sauna which was absolutely useless, after asking we did not receive another towel we could use for the pool/sauna area. If we knew about that...

The room is only 3 stars but the dinner is royal! The hospitality perfect and the park is nice. There is inside pool which is also good.

Great hosts, amazing localization, tasty breakfast! Few minutes away from the beach. We also recommend visiting a city nearby- Keszthely! Ps. The lady host has a great musical taste :)

Very nice accomodation and a family-like atmosfere. Amenities include breakfast, parking, Air conditioning, TV, mini-refrigerator, etc. Host (Mrs.Agnes) is friendly and helpful, with insightful hints about restaurants or places to visit. Enjoy and have fun!!

Very nice, clean environment. Nice welcome, nice staff, you could always talk to them. A good point is that there is free parking directly behind the guesthouse. (It doesn't matter where we leave the car). Although Wellness is small, it is still quiet and peaceful, and it feels good to spend time there! Breakfast was always divine! The breakfast is hearty, the staff is nice and friendly. Clean and tidy environment. All we miss is a hot dinner. If it was insured, I think there would be demand for it.

Quiet place, summer season ends here with the end of August. You have to look farther for the place to eat something after 8 pm. To get to the Balaton lake you have to go out from the main entrance and after that walk about 800 metres. There is only one small spot where u can see Balaton and seat ( no for swimming). the location of the hotel is very good, the yard is nice, and there is a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast is a specific pleasure, even the assessment of large complexes, there is no such assessment, it is delicious and of that choice, special thanks for the breakfast

Simple hotel, very friendly staff. Everything was very clean. Pool with sauna and steam bath. Breakfast ok. Rooms are air-conditioned. So the windows can stay closed and you can't hear the train. Simple rooms with TV and fridge.

We were satisfied with everything. The staff was very kind and direct, the room met all our needs. The hotel is in a frequented location, close to the beach. We were also able to store our bike in a safe, closed place. We look forward to seeing you again!

Very pleasant English speaking staff, specially the owner Sanyi (read as Shanyi). The hotel is on the Lake with well kept loan and ladder to enter the Balaton lake. Walking distance are shops, bars and restaurants. I saw signs of a night club not far. The breakfast is good. The rooms are basic. So is the price. Excelent choice for the money.

Kakadu hotel is situated in a quiet piece of town. There is a gas-station approximately 100-150 meters away. The personnel was very nice and they spoke German and English. Breakfest is buffet type and I found it tasty. I can only recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel however far from superior level. Staff is kind but not really flexible e.g.: invoice can be asked only from morning staff.

If it didn't cost a night in this guesthouse, how much it costed, I would say that it's a great guesthouse, but considering the high price, it's not worth it. The walls are very thin, every night someone will disturb you, and since there is no one at the reception at 10 pm, you have nowhere to complain. The breakfast was below average, the rooms could have been better equipped, bed was super unconfortable...

Awesome place. Kind service, typical bed and breakfast service. You can count on lots of add ons. Wellnes, pools (small) but enough to cool down, table tennis, snooker, sauna, bicycles. 10 min to Balaton beach(paid). Lots of restaurants nearby. Wonderful guesthouse with great service. We had a wonderful holiday, in the guesthouse you can not be bored. Pools, wellness, billiards, table tennis, playground. Very clean, nicely decorated rooms, possibilities to play table tennis, billiiard, use jacuzzi, sauna, pools. Very good location close to Balaton, close to many restaurants. The bad reviews here ale clearly from before the renovation. Hotel is new and beautiful. Spa is big and has large pool with warm water. Whirpools are spacious so you can almost always find your place there. Hungarians are kinda loud in saunas tho. Food is tasty and the selection is big enough. Rooms aren't huge but will do and everything is clean. Staff was nice and mostly spoke english. I almost forgot...

Věry nice new renovated hotel, the staff is doong their best, maybe only bit slow in restaurant - during dinner we had to wait to get wine list. The sauna world is great, there is an offer of sauna ceremonials, 1 open jacuzzi, 2 warm pools. We enjoyed our stay for 100% and hope to return again this time with kids

It was a great hotel. My father and I thought it was new, then found it in a old map we had from the 1970. Great amenities right on the Balaton and central to most everything

Nice front desk agents, good spa with a large swimming pool, infra and finnish sauna. Several complementary gym classes for Guests. Good for family trip and for 2 as well. Breakfast was the same every day, dinner was ok. Poor vegetarian options

Very kind and flexible receptionists. Had a problem. Solved it in an hour and during that time we could chat. So amazing. The view and the community is great as well. The Lake Balaton is about 10 minutes on foot. The beach is full of fascinating restaurants ect.

It is a decent hotel with more buildings near to the city center. Mostly evrything is in walk distance. Not luxurious but clean and gives you everything you need with a kind staff.

This hotel is not modern and so are the rooms. It needs renovation and 'face lifting'. It is popular between travellers and families with children. There are so many apartments so you have to walk to get your breakfast if you are in the other building. The pool and the sauna is also in another building. The hotel is noisy.
