There is a perfect hotel, the sauna is good, there is a separate sauna seance, they cook gently and the surroundings are beautiful.

I came here with my son and wife to spend a weekend away from the city. I couldn't expect more from a 3 star hotel. (Summer price is a little bit higher than winter...expectable). Rooms are good. Service and cattering - lovely. Wellness is very nice!!! Kids playroom. Clean pools. And very nice food! Can only recommend it. Thank you Szindbad hotel, for such a lovely weekend.

It's a nice place, but nothing special. The prices are okay, it's cheap. So don't expect fancy things. The food relatively okay, the rooms are more or less clean. The shower, that's bad. The water smells for a minute, I don't know why. It has a Spa area, with sauna, aroma cabin, not tubs.

Wonderful environment and very friendly people around. Best place for families with kids to stay. Claudia is very helpful and kind. Also, the One who takes care of the restaurant is a wonderful person and they speak a very good English too….. I will visit again with my family.

Great hotel. Spacious rooms, tidy, clean. There is air conditioning, which is very good on hot nights. Private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. Shallow lake, very safe for children to swim. Great resort for people, who like silent relax, nice wiev. Lots of interesting advertising things for kids. One serious problem - only cash. That's why 4 stars

The accommodation is clean, modern with new furniture and a beautiful bathroom. Rooms are air conditioned. Wi-Fi is free. The park is well maintained with lots of flowers. The hosts are kind and helpful. The resort is close to the center, but in the most beautiful street of Szemes it is located in a forest with ancient trees.

Very good accommodation. Everything is clean. Beach 10-14 minutes on foot. Shop park pharmacy drink discount bazaar row nearby. There are plenty of restaurants 6-8 minutes away.

The house was perfect, everything was nice and a dishes very clean. Only we had not been told that behind the house was a construction site. There was 7.00 clock started u.ginge almost the whole day to evening 17.00 clock. You could forget about nap. Otherwise, it would have been even better without the noise. Very nice place. The beach is circa 400 meters away which is further than what you would expect from the adverts but the hotel pool makes up for it. The food was OK. They have a bowling alley which is nice. But not so nice if your room is above it. And I mean 2 floors above it. So ask for a room as far as possible from it.

I expect more services from a 4 star hotel... Nothing in the room, no water, coffee machine, the fridge is empty... And quite old furniture

Food and staff amazing combined with the view will go to 5 stars! The only downside is that the place is not that clean, dust and spiders are something that should not be considered! Apart from that, great experience!

fairly good but there is a serious contradiction between the image of the yacht club and the reality - these are apartments at hotel pricing, acceptable, but some little things are missing from everything. Like shower gels missing from the room, usual at an apartment, but you would expect it at a yach club. The restaurant was ok but the menu is a bit poor, much smaller hotels has a bit richer offering...

We made a last minute decision and there was room here, but we didn’t regret it. Spacious parking, cleanliness, air conditioning, stable wifi. We slept in one of the upstairs rooms, there was no one but us, so the 2 shared kitchens and restrooms were private. Helpful owner, shop 3 minutes walk, beach 10 minutes walk.

Very nice house aunt. Everything is helpful, the accommodation is equipped with clean everything. I can only recommend it to everyone.

The lady owner welcomed us willingly, even though I made a reservation for one night by phone at 6 p.m. We slept with 2 children in the 80s family room. The staff is very kind and helpful, the breakfast satisfies all needs. Lake Balaton is a 3-minute walk away. I strongly recommend the place, even for those arriving with small children! 😉

Lovely place, close to the lake (2 min by walk) bar and restaurants, homemade and genuine food for breakfast( lot of choice ),clean rooms with comfortable beds and very helpfull and kind management. Definitely the best choice in the area.

We stayed for one night only and it was nice. They have private parking and a nice garden area. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. The room would need an upgrade, as the furniture seemed old and the fridge noisy.

More a restaurant with apartments than a regular hotel. Apartments are nice but could need an update. Enough space for families. Restaurant for half-board is nothing special but pretty good, for external guests the variety is really good. Service is fine, people are really friendly. Very close to the Balaton, position is excellent. Nice beach bar with sunbeds for guests. Overall a good choice.

We were not guest at the hotel but we dined at the restaurant our last evening in balatonlelle. The food is great! The pasta was really good and one of the best wine we had in our trip. In the centrum and a BIG plus was that there was a big closed playground for the kids to play😊 We will be back

Overall we liked the apartment, it was comfortable, spacious and well located, with a friendly and responsive staff.

Retro hotel with a beautiful huge garden right at the lakeside of the Balaton and one of the best views to the lake and to the hills of Tihany. If the buildings were renovated and refurbished, I would fully recommend it. The breakfast was okay, the dinner was quite delicious, maybe except the cakes. Nice service and kind personnel.

The decoration is awful from the inside as well as from the outside, or rather the lack of it. Looks like it's never been renovated in the past 60 years. Really old fashioned and basic. Ideal for just staying the night and a quick dip in the lake but don't expect more. This used to be a really fancy hotel with quite a bit of features and activities but they were clearly abandoned.
