Nice hotel with good service. The spa has a variety of amenities and they were able to fit my wife in for a wonderful set of spa treatments. The outdoor pool is nice but too shallow.

Horrible service . Staff sometimes awfully rude. Unsafe- saw three people slip and fall, 2 at the pool and one when the cleaners left the floor wet with no sign. Air conditioning worked on and off despite repeated complaints, on august. Spent 4 nights with little sleep because of heat. Food not good, and we had to ask for everything repeatedly. Charged extra for room keys. Corridors to rooms required card, so if you’re traveling in a group it is highly unfriendly. Above all was disappointed at the unhelpful staff.

Perfect place! I had taken at a business meeting at the ground level. Kind staff - it is suitable for handycapped as well.

I do not recommend this hotel. Poor price to quality ratio, a real dissapointment.

First of all, this wasn't the first time we have been here. Last time it was 2019, and I can't tell that how many times I recommended this hotel to my friends and relatives, because I was so satisfied and happy with the service, with the room, with the selection and the taste of the meals, but not this time. 😞
They couldn't keep up unfortunately.
There was confusion regarding our parking and with a baby bed, that we booked with the hotel the day before we arrived.
The housekeepers didn't clean our suite, so I took our used towels and change to new once when I saw their cleaning trolley on the corridor. On our 3rd day, around 4pm, they come and cleaned our bathroom mirror and emptied the rubbish bins.
The food selection was almost the same every evening with some little changes.
There wasn't a proper salad or vegetarian selection. Mainly just pickles.
The pool was lukewarm and dirty.
In the bar, the staff was very kind, that's why the 3 stars and not 2.
Unfortunately this was iur 3rd, but the last time we visited this hotel. 😞

This hotel is definitely not worth the money you pay. I would highly recommend looking into other hotels. Our bathroom smelled so bad, I could barely go in there without vomiting. During the first shower the whole shower cabby basically fell apart. The room was very small. The SPA? underwhelming at best. The apparently warm water pool was cold, I could not spend time in it. We asked for another towel (a dry one) and we were denied. Please, if I am spending this much money I can't even get a dry towel?!
The food was not bad, but the selection was minimal. Not even sure what vegetarians do there, all I saw basically just salad. Our waiter was super unprofessional, an about 18 year-old big mouth guy who had no idea how to be professional.
I definitely do not recommend, and we will not be back...

Chaos in client services and especially low speed of service in the bars and other facilities when more guests arrive. Unclear communication re potential extra charges and lack of respective control. The hotel is trying to make a profit from extra charges like the management of towels and charging fees for the absence of plastic cards even the towels are in place.
There are a lot more other hotels at Balaton where there is real customer focus.

Last June I stayed here with my bf. I like this cozy hotel... the most delicious foods I have ever had in Hungary, I used to disappoint about Hungarian food a lot: like nomad foods, but I liked foods in this hotel even though I didn't try them all (I am trying to be a Vegetarian n there was not many food for Vegetarian but was tasty, and they made us strawberry soup n basic tomato pasta quickly) so still I think it was the best hotel so far in Hungary but I think too over priced (the cheapest price is more than 50,000 points a day) But I think most of Balaton hotels are over prices... anyway I liked this hotel.
