We chose the hotel for one night because of the Christmas markets. Perfect proximity to the center and parking right in front of the hotel for 6€ per night. Older but cozy hotel. Close to everything. We had a completely sufficient breakfast (for us). I recommend it

Superb. A wonderful historic building with great staff. All were engaging and pleased to talk. Breakfast was a treat and wide covered. The hotel is wonderfully situated in the historic sector of Gyor. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful place

Beautiful hotel, great location and very good value for money. Breakfast was ok and there’s a choice of mostly cold and some hot foods. Really helpful reception who let us store our bags after we checked out and got another pillow for us. Can’t fault it for the money

The hotel's best days are behind it. Its greatest advantage is its location close to the city center and the charming Old Town. The ability to have breakfast in the courtyard is definitely a great advantage. It's just a shame that smoking is allowed in the courtyard, so the smell during breakfast can be unpleasant. The rooms are atmospheric. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is a bit old-fashioned, but okay. Toilet paper without a dispenser sits on the toilet bowl. This isn't a very hygienic solution.

The hotel was in the center of Gÿor, the building is super old, it used to be a monastery or something like that where monks would sleep. The bathroom was very small and narrow. The beds were very uncomfortable. The idea converting a monastery into a hotel is good but they need to invest in more quality facilities.

Booked this hotel as we could park our Motorbikes securely in the courtyard. Arrived late and were shown where to put the bikes. The rooms are simply furnished, spotless with air conditioning and a fridge with a number of different drinks. The beds were so comfortable. The hotel is gorgeous, quirkey and the breakfast had a very good selection. The hotel is close to everything and we walked everywhere. The staff at reception were super helpful and spoke English. Only downside is the noise outside your bedroom when we there were kids running riot at 7.00 in the morning in the hall on the way to breakfast. Not the hotels fault at all, just don't expect a lie in. I loved the hotel and watching the bats in the courtyard in the evening and the star gazing.

Interesting, spartan hotel. If you are expecting luxury, you won't find it. The shower cabin for our standard double could have been cleaner. Decent continental breakfast for a good price.

Did the job right in the centre of Gyõr. Room fairly plain and basic, but everything worked. Breakfast acceptable. Love the build and the history.

Although the property is older, it is definitely well taken care of. Close to the older part of town and less than a ten minute walk from the train station you can't go wrong staying here. I will say it was one of the smallest beds I've ever slept on. One other cool note, the Pope stayed here once!
