Allure Healthy Hotel in Eger

We are very disappointed in this Hotel ... It promises much more than it offers. The high rating (4.8 *) is misleading. Such highly rated **** Hotels (e.g. Aura, Castellum, MenDan) offer far more, primarily in terms of food selection. Half-board for breakfast and dinner is poor, although the food is delicious. This shortcoming is particularly painful in light of the hotel’s emphasis on health. For breakfast, the standard can of jam, the candied Hey-ho juice, the 5 pieces of fruit offered in a small bowl, the dinner with the roasted nokedli, garnished with rice-bizi and mashed potatoes are far from the concept of healthy food ... At dinner, 2 small appetizers , 3 main courses + garnish, 2 small cookies to choose from. The salad bar does not exist, instead it was the same 3 salads for 2 days with 3 changing dressings. My partner should not consume gluten, milk, or eggs. We also indicated this in advance by phone / e-mail / at the reception upon arrival! In comparison, apart from a delicious juice, my couple couldn’t eat either a main course or a dessert at our first dinner. At his special request, the chef prepared him a flawless fish dish, of course he had to wait for that. At breakfast, we also had to wait until the frozen gluten-free rolls were baked. It is more than unpleasant at this price / * also (2 nights / 2 people 112 000.- HUF / ****). The area around the Hotel, as previously written, has pretty much run down. Its only positive is that a nice bike ride starts from nearby to Felsőtárkány, where it is an experience to run / walk / bike. The Hotel has been tastefully designed, the colors are harmonious, the Wellness is cozy, the saunas are super, it is a good idea to have water with fruit in the jugs. Pleasant music is played everywhere. Instead of the term suite, the apartment is more appropriate. The apartment is spacious, the bed is large and comfortable. There are quality elements in the equipment, but in the same way you may encounter design flaws (conversely, connected hot and cold taps, light switches behind the bath door, unusable design reading lamps, etc.).
All in all, for this money, there are Hotels in a much nicer setting that offer a higher standard than the classics.
We are sorry that the otherwise good additions of the Hotel are degraded with such errors, much more could be extracted from it ... 😪
