Thank you Ruth Safed Hotel for a truly memorable stay! A very professional team of staff, special thanks to Nari for excellent service (also warmed our hearts to see his kindness to the resident cat and her kittens), and Rania for her excellent capucchinos. The extra touches at breakfast like freshly squeezed orange juice, honeycomb, homemade jams, hot breads. The only hotel we know that cares so much about its guests as to offer a free tour with guide David Amiel , which was so very enjoyable! The Swimming pool is superb in a lovely setting with fantastic background music (a good addition would be to add a large basket for towels and to fix the outdoor shower). We were welcomed to Muse by 2 charming girls and enjoyed our time there. The rooms are large, comfortable, lovely views, and the hotel in general is truly beautiful with attention to detail and many wonderful spots to sit, relax, admire the views. We look forward to returning to a hotel that truly cares about its visitors!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ruth Hotel in the old city of Safed, nestled in the breathtaking Galilee region of northern Israel. I was captivated by the hotel's unique charm and tranquil atmosphere.

One of the features of the Ruth Hotel is its historical buildings, which used to be a khan. The preservation and incorporation of these historic structures into the hotel's design lend a sense of authenticity and a connection to the rich heritage of the area. It was truly a delight to wander under the arches throughout the well kept grounds.

The views from the large dining room window were stunning. It was the perfect backdrop to enjoy excellent meals.

The hotel's gardens and swimming pool provided a serene oasis where I could relax and unwind. The Ruth Hotel is not adults only, therefore sometimes loud children at the pool or dining room made the feel less tranquil at times. I should have requested to be seated at a quiet outdoor table instead of inside the dining room Friday evening, guests who did so enjoyed a lovely relaxing dinner and comfortable evening weather even during the warmest weather in July.

One of the highlights of my stay was discovering the wine bar situated inside an ancient khan from the Mameluke period. It was a truly unique setting. On one evening, I had the pleasure of experiencing live music by musicians from the Maqamat School of Eastern Music, located near the hotel. The combination of the enchanting melodies, a glass of excellent wine, and the backdrop of an amazing sunset created a truly unforgettable experience.

The Ruth Hotel also impressed me with its excellent service. The hotel offered complimentary tours led by David Amiel, a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and entertaining tour guide ,a 12th generation Safed resident. His passion for the region's history and his storytelling skills truly brought the city to life.

Overall, my experience at the Ruth Hotel was wonderful . From the historical buildings and breathtaking views to the delightful wine bar , friendly staff (especially Stav), and the expertly guided tours, every aspect of my stay was great . I would highly recommend the Ruth Hotel to anyone seeking a unique and unforgettable experience in the heart of the Galilee region.

Nice place. Didn't see the rooms, was on vacation from the workplace and had only dinner there. The meat was a little bit overdone, but the salads and other dishes were very tasty. There is also a pool there and it's a really nice place.

The Ruth Safed by Dan Hotels is a beautiful place, you can feel the peace around. The staff is helpful and friendly, the rooms (I stayed in the old ones) are beautifully designed, I had the best sleep night there.

Definitely recommend it.

We were here to volunteer and coming from Tel Aviv to this place was like a heaven with beautiful nature, mountains, morning fogs etc. We stayed at this place for two days and the rooms were good, nice and clean. Breakfast is included so there is good service there except for coffee, you feel challenged as cappuccino the servers will make which will be too light and cafe latte will be also very light. I enjoyed everything except having a good coffee. Overall, a good place to come and relax and see places. You will find lots of art work here and this place is cut off from all the Hussle bustle of the city. I would recommend this place.

Beautiful, quaint, historic hotel. Somewhat lackadaisical front desk staff, but reasonably pleasant. Hotel is close to artist galleries and local eateries. Breakfast is good, with adequate selection. Rooms don't have many electric outlets which is troublesome. Views are stunning. The pool is beautiful when open.

Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our room. We had a balcony and a separate patio, there was lots of greenery that gave it a nostalgic feeling. The bathroom was nice. The bed very comfortable. It was quite and relaxing, woke to the birds singing in the morning. The food is fantastic, lots to choose from and desserts were great. Morning coffee done by their barista was a great start to the day. The staff was friendly and pleasant. I will definitely come back.
