Stayed 2 nights, i booked my room through American Express, paid $1k, I truly was disappointed. Very expensive for its value. Upon arrival they had my double room had one mattress without any sheet’s, looked terrible. Had to call front to come and fix. Then i had to change rooms because the ac wasn’t working and it smelled liked mold. New room was newer and nicer. Though I called front desk at least 4 times, my room was supposed to have a mini bar, or at least working refrigerator but they keep saying yes we will send someone, but this never got done. Called staff to assist after few times and then they gave me attitude, i tried going to spa and attendant gave attitude haha, i was supposed to extend my stay, but checked out. Terrible experience and staff didn’t care about my concerns, so i left and booked the Royal , that’s definitely a great option.

Inter has a good location, on a positive side, bathroom products are good and Breakfast buffet was delicious.

We chose to stay in a corner suite as we wanted a separate sleeping area for our young baby and paid a lot of money, just under £4900.00 for 10 days . The room that we were given was definitely below standards; the door frames were rotting, the bath was leaking, there wasn’t a separate shower, the air conditioning didn’t work properly and the room was located directly above the lobby area so was noisy which didn’t help our baby to sleep! For the amount of money that we were spending you would have thought that these problems would have been resolved quickly but unfortunately not! We were given the option for a room closer to the lobby area (which we obviously didn’t want due to the noise) or the choice to upgrade to a bigger room that we didn’t need but was on the higher levels away from the lobby area. We were left with no other choice but to pay the extra $180 per night and move.

The second room was nice and up to a good standard but I wouldn’t say it was worth the huge price tag of over £6000.00!!

The executive lounge was an absolute disgrace serving only cakes, biscuits and drinks. No hot food or salads (which is what they usually have), even the staff in the lounge said it is usually better. Do not waste your money on it! Also, the bistro restaurant Nomi has closed down, no mention why.

The staff at the hotel have no idea how to treat customers or deal with problems, you are made to feel very unwelcome here. Most of them are rude and unhelpful, I was promised that the general manager would deal with our problem, currently on day 9 of 10 and still haven’t heard from the general manager.

We were told that due to covid the staff haven’t had the necessary training and unfortunately this is the result.. this just isn’t good enough for a “5 star luxury hotel”. You ask for a simple thing such as an extra bottle of water or an extra towel and you are given the dirtiest look as if you are such an inconvenience to them.

I definitely will not be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to until they sort the problems out!

Such a shame and a massive waste of money.
