Grand Hotel Faraglioni

I stayed in the hotel towards the end of June. I must say that this was the worst stay in my recent past. The hotel itself is okish. But the biggest problem is there is live music every night! Our room was next to the terrace where the performance was taking place. I must say that i couldnt sleep for entire week for a single night. The music is so loud until the night that you feel like you are in live concert and trying to sleep on the stage 🤣🤣🤣 there is no soundproofing whatsoever. Even normally during the day time you can hear everything from outside. The bed was terrible as well. They gave us two single beds touching each other but with an uneven height. I mean this must be joke for a four star hotel like this. On top, we had to pay for taking a towel to the beach. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is clean but that cant be everything! If you dont want to sleep during your vacations and want to have a feeling of what it means to sleep on the concert stage then go to this hotel. I will never go back again to this place. Also, it is fairly away from Catania. Takes around 25-30 minutes on scooter and the road can be very dangerous with traffic in the night. I am sorry for a negative review but i really disliked it.
