Hotel La Pergola

Staff super helpful and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast good and plentiful. Dinner very good. Location great for visiting other towns and sites. A+ for all. Antonio great at providing our drinks.

Grate staff, grate kitchen with specials every day. Full bar on roof top Pergola with amazing views. Property is a 30min walk to Amalfi port/marina with lots of restaurants and shopping. A big shoutout to Antonio, Victor and Ellie, these are the staff that I remember the names, but everyone was super attentive and nice.

The condition of the hotel is excellent; it is clean, modern and well maintained. Staff, including Salvatore at the desk and Antonio in bar and dining room are professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and dinner we had one night was also very good. There is a bus stop right at the front door of the hotel which is good. The only downside to the location is that there is not that much close to the hotel to provide other dining or shopping options. Many patrons of the hotel do walk to other venues but the road on which the hotel is located (the main road) is somewhat dangerous for pedestrians IMO. One caution: taxis are expensive in and around Amalfi and the drivers will take advantage of any tourist or situation they come upon; ask the price before you get in the cab and don’t waiver or show weakness; you will be victimized.

The most beautiful place we stayed at on our trip. Very affordable, loved all the fresh lemon the bar tender made the best Limencillo spritz’s we had the entire trip!

Great place to stay!
Our hotel visit was fabulous! It is set on a mountain side looking down at the water and amongst a beautiful surroundings in the mountains! The service was amazing and in the restaurant the food was outstanding! We would stay again!

For a 3-star hotel, it's fabulous. The staff is great and the restaurant is very good. It's nice to be just outside of Amalfi, but transportation can be a little challenging (be prepared to do a lot of walking). Overall, it made our stay at the Amalfi Coast really enjoyable.

This is a wonderful property with a very pleasant staff. Rooms are nice but showers are small. They offer a great breakfast and its easy by bus to get to the Center. I would stay there again.

We stayed for 5 nights and made this hotel our basecamp to see other places around Amalfi. The hotel seems to have been updated recently and we felt very comfortable. The room was nice, clean and has soundproof windows so it was very peaceful. The breakfast was fantastic, the staff was always helpful and friendly, the roof top terrace is amazing, the lemon grove is beautiful, but be ready to climb lots of stairs. We loved our stay in this hotel and we would book it again any time. The only suggestion I have for the kitchen is to add a simple pasta dish to the evening menu to cater to children, who prefer just pasta with butter or a no-meat pasta sauce.

Absolutely A hidden gem. I think their restaurant is the best in all of Amalfi. I had their spaghetti alle vongole, and it was phenomenal. Always get their catch of the day grilled fish. We had it both nights we stayed there.

Also their lemon beer is made from scratch (minus the beer) and it is far better than anything you get in town. Worth a trip imo.

A bus takes you right to their doorstep.

Also, Raphael is the best. Made us feel at home every step of the way.
