Hotels with sea view in Amalfi

The public beaches can get a bit hectic during high season so having this private area to relax and swim was so nice

We were there for my best friend’s wedding at a nearby hotel and they ran into some issues with their room on the day of the wedding, so I had to ask the Miramalfi staff if it was OK for the rest of the groomsmen to come over for photos (photographer told him this was the best hotel in the area for photos)

Just WOW! My husband and I stayed here recently for a couple of nights and the service was brilliant. The beach club is one of the best hotel beach clubs I've experienced on my travels with its location and amazing staff

A big thank you to the beach club staff for their attention to detail and wonderful service. They work hard and truly deserve to be recognised. The restaurant food is great and breakfast was incredible each morning

We just got home from spending 6 nights at Miramalfi and we’re still talking about how amazing it was. My wife and I have been to Italy together 5 times, and this was by far our best hotel experience hands down

Hotel staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating. The facilities were all great - very nice fitness room, the restaurants had amazing food, but the pool/ beach club area was truly the highlight

It is right by a snack bar to grab lunch/drinls or snacks, has a highly rated restaurant Eolo and is steps from the beach, town square, ferry and taxi access when needed

Nice pool area on roof with great views, although a little cold even for a 33 degree heatwave! Would have been nice if the pool had opened before 9. 30am, but the sea is only a short walk if you like an early morning swim

It's clean and feels new but maintains the historic beauty of Italy in all of its architectural details. Steps from ferries, buses etc. It allows you to easily explore the entirety of the Amalfi Coast

This place was my favourite part about my Italy trip! It was honestly amazing. The customer service that we were shown from right at the beginning was amazing and it stayed throughout our whole stay

The rooms are amazingly appointed with unrivaled views overlooking the sea that simply cannot be beat

The 2 restaurants were absolute highlights, as the food and service were exceptional! We also did a convert tour with Friar Marcus and pizza making with Gabriele, both were really interesting and fun! There are some really lovely people working here, which made the experience that much more memorable

The luxury interior, fine dining restaurant and breath-taking terrace make this hotel an incredibly comfortable and unforgettable stay. It is also a perfectly set up location for luxury Amalfi Coast weddings and events

Not only did this hotel have incredible views, the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the chefs are very accommodating to dietary requirements. What makes this hotel though is the incredible staff

Every time the staff did something, it seemed like they would always say “also we have a little surprise for you”, or “let me make it better for you as well”. They always went out of their way to go above and beyond

Beautiful historic property, very gracious employees, and multiple peaceful perches for enjoying the spectacular view. The restaurant turns out delicious food. Our server Omar was quite personable and attentive

Then we used the ingredients to make a caprese salad, eggplant parmesan, and an incredible lemon cake all from scratch with Daniele and his family. Our trip to Hotel Ristorante La Pergola was absolutely incredible

Beautiful boutique hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The rooms and the whole hotel very clean and well looked after. It looks as it is brand new although it is in existence for 20years already

Rooms are simple, yet comfortable. Aperol Spritz is respectable, with an incredible view. Ravioli and Almond Cake are oh so tasty and satisfying. Was recommended here by friends and would stay again

From here you have an amazing view from your window and also the terrace above which has seats and a bar that serves appetizers. It also serves a free full breakfast with lots of assorted food

If you are spending a few days on the coast, you’ll want to base yourself in one place, that is a hub for the ferries and buses, so that you can make it to other parts on the coast relatively painlessly each day

My wife and I spent 7 days here in this hotel in Amalfi and it was terrific. The rooms are very nice and the staff are very helpful and courteous

Everything was picture perfect! A sea view, large balcony, really, really nice people, easy walk to town center, comfie bed. The absolute best was the salt water pool next to the Mediterranean

Our stay in this hotel was great! The room was big and the terrace outside was perfect for sunbathing and just enjoying the seawiev. Also the room was very clean and well taken care of on a every day basis

I was unhappy with hotel I booked on line and walking around to find place to stay in Amalfi. I walked in and explain my situation to the gentleman in the hotel. He told me he has 2 room available

The room was also a plus, comfortable bed, waterfall shower with great water pressure, big towels, powerful air condition and one extra touch were the usb plugs on each side of the bed, avoiding the need of plug adaptors

They gave us the best room with the best view and made sure we would always be at ease. The rooms and the hotel itself are very clean and it always smells good. I recommend this place with my eyes closed!

They have access to sea platform with extra charges but the life guard/ staff member at the beach is very friendly and helpful

We had an issue with our air conditioning (it gets pushed to its limit in summer like most places on the peninsula) but the staff was quickly able to mitigate, so credit to them

Staying at La Bussola was an absolute dream! We had a partial sea view room with a balcony. The view from our room was stunning and we spent a lot of time just sitting on the balcony taking in the views

Excellent location for a hotel in Amalfi town. The beach is just a 3 minute walk from the hotel and there are many great restaurant s within walking distance. The ferry and bus terminal are also within walking distance

The hotel offers a tiny parking garage which I highly recommend using if you drive (since you can just use the elevator to bring your luggage up from the garage)

It’s a bit of a process to retrieve your car, however, as the garage is more of a long hallway than a typical parking garage you might expect

If you have to stay in Amalfi, this is a excellent place to stay for a reasonable price. Rooms were modern and clean as well. They also clean the rooms every day and always refresh towels

The views were spectacular! The hotel also has a pool and access to private beach. The pool was great and private beach convenient to get to using the hotel shuttle. We also got multiple meals from the bar and restaurant

The views are the best and why you will stay here. Having breakfast on a balcony overlooking the sea and the harbour and watching the sun rise over the mountains is priceless. Staff are great and very helpful

The shuttle service was great and it was extremely on time, just have to make sure you book in advanced on the tablet or website. We got a newly renovated room with a private balcony facing the waters

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, but still want to be close enough to a lot of cool experiences then I wouldn’t trust any other location above Hotel Aurora in Amalfi

We were so happy to stay at hotel doria. The staff are wonderful people and the shuttle is very convenient for getting in and out of amalfi. Good selection for breakfast and the view is outstanding

Great service, nice view, 10mins drive from Amalfi but the shuttle was fine. Good breakfast spread.

Perched on the hillside, high above the outer edges of Amalfi, this is the place to stay. Excellent accommodations, staff, amenities!! Shuttle provided downtown and back!

Friendly staff and quiet area, but to long away from the city Center. You're dependent on the shuttle bus from the hotell, if you don't want have your own transport or take a taxi wich is 40 EUR from city Center.

Stayed here during second leg of honeymoon - was excellent. Gennaro, Sofia, Nello, all staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond in many ways. Hotel is so cute and quaint, and the views are unparalleled

We really liked this place! The view from our Terrace was breathtaking, our room was clean. The Villa is located very convenient, the bus stop is right next to the Villa, also you can walk to the Center of Amalfi

It's a hike up stairs from the main road if you take the bus from Sorrento, but they do offer parking just in front of the hotel for drivers

A rare jewel in such a lovely place! We stayed only one night but it was a lovely stay. Our room had a window with a seaside view. It was very clean, cozy, and comfortable

Breathtaking views and comfortable room. The staff was also super sweet and welcoming, which created a bed and breakfast kind of experience. The wifi definitely did not work, but that was only a minor inconvenience.

Rooms are a good size, decorative a little old fashioned in my opinion however very clean and the bathroom has a great shower. Breakfast is a normal mainland European (cold meats and sweets)

Yes you have a good view, but be prepare for long climb when coming back to the hotel as you can see, Hotel is up on the slope of Positano hence the good view

best view for the best bang for buck hotel in the Positano region. Have a public paid carpark near by, for those who drive there (very narrow roads, hire smallest car if possible)

A word of caution: though it says breakfast is till 10 am if you come at 9am or later food will be gone and not replaced. However, if you go earlier, all seats are taken

It's a small hotel with very nice and kind personal. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast it's good

As you could expect, being by the water will cause some interior damage to the rooms like mold on ceilings and some dew against the wall and windows at night but an open window in the morning with a cool breeze is unbeatable

July 2022 - Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for one night, and we found the staff, room and food to be completely up to our standards. Obviously the building is slightly aged, but we knew what we were paying for

Amazing location few steps from the city center and Amalfi port where all boat tours departs. My recommendation is to don’t care about the negative reviews this place got. For me are totally unreasonable and dated

Families with pushchairs/children should take extra care since you’re walking on a tight, live road. Both staff members we spoke with had perfect English, and were always so lovely. Shame for the negative reviews

A note, please enrich the breakfast with more salty dishes. Semplice B&B in una posizione comodissima a due passi dal centro di Amalfi e dal piccolo porto. Camera semplice, non molto grande ma confortevole
