Epic. The staff, the breakfast buffet, the rooms, and especially - the beautiful pool by the sea. It was the best service we had throughout our trip in Italy. Highly, highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning property and impeccable service. The property being exclusive to guests makes it very private and relaxing. It was always easy to find beach chairs and hop in the sea. Gym was small but well equipped

Every little detail was perfect from the rooms, to the great restaurants, to the gardens, to the terraces and the fantastic beach club. The views from every part of the hotel are just incredible

Service - when we arrived I was a little stressed from the drive along the infamous narrow roads of the Amalfi and the concierge made sure she checked us in whilst we settled ourselves on the balcony looking at the most amazing view of the coastline

My husband and I had the best experience staying at this hotel. It had the most breath taking views from our balcony of our room as well as the common areas of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Breakfast was wonderful and dinner was delicious! The shuttle to their private beach is worth while

I think that the actual town Amalfi is such a beautiful and authentic place, unlike other towns that felt more like “tourist traps” on the Amalfi coast. It was by far our favorite town that we visited in this region

The complimentary shuttle service makes it so that you can get downtown quickly and easily, and drops you off right in the middle of everything, making it easy to walk around downtown, catch a ferry or bus, etc

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, and its location is perfection. Being situated high up above the city center offers a unique perspective that you don’t get if you were to stay downtown

Just WOW! My husband and I stayed here recently for a couple of nights and the service was brilliant. The beach club is one of the best hotel beach clubs I've experienced on my travels with its location and amazing staff

We just got home from spending 6 nights at Miramalfi and we’re still talking about how amazing it was. My wife and I have been to Italy together 5 times, and this was by far our best hotel experience hands down

Our room had access directly to terrace, it was great! The elevator, which I think is among few available in Amalfi is a great addition and quite a piece of enginering! Salvatore is such a great host, he's always happy, funny and available to any question and request

The Borgo Santandrea is breathtakingly beautiful. The location is stunning, watching the sunrise in the morning from our balcony was a wonderful start to the day

The “Best Shot Ever” was the Best Shot Ever! I believe it was Claudio who made the best Espresso Martini’s we’ve ever had in the downstairs bar. We will certainly visit again and look forward to our next stay

Stayed at Hotel la Bussola in Amalfi for a week in August with my entire family. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was simply incredible, in all aspects

The front desk staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and nice. The rooms were immaculately cleaned and freshened up daily

Drinks were meticulously prepared, unique and refreshing. The appetizers were such a nice surprise each evening

We stayed in a room with a terrace and jacuzzi and it was super nice to come home to after a long day of walking around the various cities on the coast. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable as well!

Excellent location for a hotel in Amalfi town. The beach is just a 3 minute walk from the hotel and there are many great restaurant s within walking distance. The ferry and bus terminal are also within walking distance

If you have to stay in Amalfi, this is a excellent place to stay for a reasonable price. Rooms were modern and clean as well. They also clean the rooms every day and always refresh towels

On the day we left (at 2:00 AM) there was a police car parked in front of the garage blocking us in but the hotel staff called the police and had the car moved for us in under 20 minutes

The hotel offers a tiny parking garage which I highly recommend using if you drive (since you can just use the elevator to bring your luggage up from the garage)

Great location right on the beach. Of course there is no parking, but you should not be driving the Amalfi Coast anyway. The best way to travel is to take a bus. Great breakfast, very friendly staff

I reccommend Amalfi to be your home-base, nice places here, decently priced and accessible to all of the other towns. Busses can be pretty busy, also motion sickness can hit you, fast corners and heavy brakes

So close to local beach, buses, ferry stop and harbour. Fabulous views from the 1st floor balcony. Staff very pleasent and helpful

Excellent 4 star hotel. Perfect location in the heart of Amalfi and steps from the beach. But the rooms are quiet and hardly any street noise gets in. Very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommend it!

Our flight was not until the late evening and they let us store our bags in their storage room and they charged our battery packs and were so gracious about it all. Such wonderful people - thank you for hosting us!

We stayed in one of the sea view rooms with a balcony and it absolutely did not disappoint! The view was gorgeous and the room was exactly as advertised. Breakfast was clean, efficient, and delicious

We stayed here for 5 nights, and honestly could have just made Amalfi our home for weeks

The location is great! Yes, there are some stairs to get there, not many, just enough to space you from the buzz of the beach and climb you into a beautiful view of the city

The ocean could be viewed from the comfort of the bed and jacuzzi! Comfy bed, AC in the room with lovely flowing curtains and electronic retractable sun blinds for those days when you hit the snooze

We had a wonderful view of the city and ocean from our 'superior' room, each room seemed to be named after a pop icon , ours was"Liza Minnelli"

We spent 6 nights on our honeymoon here, and I recommend it for couples doing the same

The steps to the reception are a workout but worth every step for the beauty it holds!

Staff here is so amazing and helpful - Roberta was so amazing and helpful! She and other staff have excellent multi language communication skills and go above and beyond, lending beach towels ect

The room was also a plus, comfortable bed, waterfall shower with great water pressure, big towels, powerful air condition and one extra touch were the usb plugs on each side of the bed, avoiding the need of plug adaptors

I was unhappy with hotel I booked on line and walking around to find place to stay in Amalfi. I walked in and explain my situation to the gentleman in the hotel. He told me he has 2 room available

Our stay in this hotel was great! The room was big and the terrace outside was perfect for sunbathing and just enjoying the seawiev. Also the room was very clean and well taken care of on a every day basis

The rooms are big and the views are amazing and most importantly the entire hotel was super clean, the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast was ok however they serve a great capucchino

First, while it is somewhat buried in the town it is in the center of the historic district which means that you are near everything (not that Amalfi is that big to begin with, mind you)

The Floridiana, along with several other Amalfi hotels offers complimentary walking tours of both Amalfi as well as Ravello which are well worth the time. Second, the accomodations themselves were very nice

You will not have a room with a view here but the Floridiana more than made up for this in other ways and although we were there only three nights, we were glad that we had picked the Floridiana in hindsight for a number of reasons

A Hidden Gem! The Hotel Floridiana is somewhat tucked away in the middle of the historic district of Amalfi, sharing the building with another hotel and businesses

Everything was picture perfect! A sea view, large balcony, really, really nice people, easy walk to town center, comfie bed. The absolute best was the salt water pool next to the Mediterranean

We stayed back in October for our honeymoon and it was fantastic. The location is walkable to everything, the pool is gorgeous overlooking it all, and the staff was beyond accommodating

Breathtaking views and comfortable room. The staff was also super sweet and welcoming, which created a bed and breakfast kind of experience. The wifi definitely did not work, but that was only a minor inconvenience.

Rooms are a good size, decorative a little old fashioned in my opinion however very clean and the bathroom has a great shower. Breakfast is a normal mainland European (cold meats and sweets)

Yes you have a good view, but be prepare for long climb when coming back to the hotel as you can see, Hotel is up on the slope of Positano hence the good view

It's a small hotel with very nice and kind personal. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast it's good

As you could expect, being by the water will cause some interior damage to the rooms like mold on ceilings and some dew against the wall and windows at night but an open window in the morning with a cool breeze is unbeatable

It's very romantic, tiny, perched on top of the cliff. I can only speak for room 8, which is a stand-alone satellite to the hotel. Room is clean, A/C powerful, view gorgeous. The staff is friendly and helpful

The hotel is quaint and small (as are many in Italy) but we are not picky, we thought it was intimate and charming. We are hikers so the 5-10 minute walk to the city was a nice warm up

It is right by a snack bar to grab lunch/drinls or snacks, has a highly rated restaurant Eolo and is steps from the beach, town square, ferry and taxi access when needed

This place was my favourite part about my Italy trip! It was honestly amazing. The customer service that we were shown from right at the beginning was amazing and it stayed throughout our whole stay

It’s just a few steps to town and the beach but both are just far enough away to enjoy a serene evening on the terrace having drinks. You can even walk to the ferries!

Nice pool area on roof with great views, although a little cold even for a 33 degree heatwave! Would have been nice if the pool had opened before 9. 30am, but the sea is only a short walk if you like an early morning swim

Amazing location few steps from the city center and Amalfi port where all boat tours departs. My recommendation is to don’t care about the negative reviews this place got. For me are totally unreasonable and dated

July 2022 - Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for one night, and we found the staff, room and food to be completely up to our standards. Obviously the building is slightly aged, but we knew what we were paying for

Families with pushchairs/children should take extra care since you’re walking on a tight, live road. Both staff members we spoke with had perfect English, and were always so lovely. Shame for the negative reviews

A note, please enrich the breakfast with more salty dishes. Semplice B&B in una posizione comodissima a due passi dal centro di Amalfi e dal piccolo porto. Camera semplice, non molto grande ma confortevole

We will be returning here if we ever choose to travel to the Amalfi Coast again. Finding a way to the hotel was a little tricky, so I’ve included a picture of the road you need to walk on the get there

We came here because of the great price and location, but the staff made it perfect! The gentleman at the front desk made delicious cappuccinos for us during breakfast and the views while we were eating were breathtaking

Central location with a beautiful view on the cathedral. Small, clean place, definitely worthy of consideration.

This was our favorite hotel while we were touring through Italy

Be aware that the main entrance is through a narrow flight of stairs on an alley and that being close to the Duomo brings lots of noise due to church bells starting to chime as early as 7AM (relevant if you are light sleeper)

The hotel was great located, easy access to the centre of the city and the bus station. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was Ok. The staff was very nice and helpfull. The wifi conection was really bad.

The location is perfect, just next to the harbour and in the centre plaza. It could be a bit noisy, but at least in May it wasn't an issue at all. The breakfast was one of the best in Italy (usually not that good).

Historic hotel in a perfect location. Only real complaint would be the bed. It was almost as historic as the hotel. Great breakfast, friendly staff, Wifi costs extra. If driving, call ahead to get the procedure

Someone will meet you near the hotel where you have to get your luggage and walk to the hotel. They take your car and park it until you leave. Unexpectedly confusing but apparently necessary

I didn’t give a 5 star rating only because the mattress was completely flat and very uncomfortable and the bedding wasn’t sufficient, it was cold at night

Location is great, right in front on the Amalfi sea coast. The staff were a bit rude and not too helpful when needed, but the hotel is with its price.

You go in the narrow way about 1,5 meters with the church stairs on your back then go up the stone stairs on the left side that lead to the hotel. Once you are upstairs you see the hotel at the end of the plattform

The front desk attendant-Santo- was very helpful and nice when we’d ask him for directions or help. It’s also great that he’s always on site. The room was clean and the cleaning staff lovely and attentive

It’s hidden away on one of the alley which makes it a great location If you are trying to get away from the Main Street hustle. We had a balcony view which was very nice view of the plaza and harbor

Stayed here several years ago. wonderfully hospitable. I had the room below ground level, loved it. Lady owner used to patiently wait for me to return each night. How good is that!

Not too noisy at night and had blackout curtains. Very affordable for a great central spot. One minute walk from Amalfi Cathedral and all restaurants

The view is simply stunning!! The biggest downside is that it's not easy to get between town and the hotel. We would be down in the town (or taking a day-trip to Capri from the marina) and then we'd be sweaty/tired/etc

The air conditioning worked fine, and the bed was decently comfortable though not exceptional. You can hear the main street going into Amalfi from the room because it's just below the window; but it wasn't too bad

This boutique hotel has gorgeous balcony views and a lovely patio to eat breakfast outdoors. The room we stayed in was large, and the shower was larger than several other places we stayed in Italy

The window shutters did a good job keeping the room dark. The biggest plus was spectacular sunrises and lovely sunsets right from the large window with small balcony

but would not want to come back to the hotel to shower and get ready for dinner, only to make the trek back down into the town

Breakfast was included and good. Standard European breakfast with decent espresso. Only things we would of liked to have was a lock box and the bath sheets were kind of thin. Would stay again for location and cleanliness

The hotel was in the perfect location. One walkway (2min) away from the main road/hub of Almafi. 2 minute (literally) walk to the bus terminal and port for all the day excursions to Capri and Positano
