Just WOW! My husband and I stayed here recently for a couple of nights and the service was brilliant. The beach club is one of the best hotel beach clubs I've experienced on my travels with its location and amazing staff

Also the free parking for your own vehicle was great! Another highlight of my stay was the hotel’s private beach. It was the cherry on top of an already perfect experience

The views are the best and why you will stay here. Having breakfast on a balcony overlooking the sea and the harbour and watching the sun rise over the mountains is priceless. Staff are great and very helpful

The shuttle service was great and it was extremely on time, just have to make sure you book in advanced on the tablet or website. We got a newly renovated room with a private balcony facing the waters

Our room had access directly to terrace, it was great! The elevator, which I think is among few available in Amalfi is a great addition and quite a piece of enginering! Salvatore is such a great host, he's always happy, funny and available to any question and request

We were so lucky to start our holiday here, the balcony and view were amazing and for us amalfi was our favourite place! Luciano and team were very welcoming and booked the best restaurants for us!

Beautiful historic property, very gracious employees, and multiple peaceful perches for enjoying the spectacular view. The restaurant turns out delicious food. Our server Omar was quite personable and attentive

The hotel’s location is excellent, and the building’s history adds an exciting extra touch. We were eagerly anticipating the trip, and it did not disappoint

The room was also a plus, comfortable bed, waterfall shower with great water pressure, big towels, powerful air condition and one extra touch were the usb plugs on each side of the bed, avoiding the need of plug adaptors

I was unhappy with hotel I booked on line and walking around to find place to stay in Amalfi. I walked in and explain my situation to the gentleman in the hotel. He told me he has 2 room available

Our stay in this hotel was great! The room was big and the terrace outside was perfect for sunbathing and just enjoying the seawiev. Also the room was very clean and well taken care of on a every day basis

This was our favorite hotel while we were touring through Italy

Be aware that the main entrance is through a narrow flight of stairs on an alley and that being close to the Duomo brings lots of noise due to church bells starting to chime as early as 7AM (relevant if you are light sleeper)

The hotel was great located, easy access to the centre of the city and the bus station. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was Ok. The staff was very nice and helpfull. The wifi conection was really bad.

You go in the narrow way about 1,5 meters with the church stairs on your back then go up the stone stairs on the left side that lead to the hotel. Once you are upstairs you see the hotel at the end of the plattform

The front desk attendant-Santo- was very helpful and nice when we’d ask him for directions or help. It’s also great that he’s always on site. The room was clean and the cleaning staff lovely and attentive

The owner was very friendly, checkin and check out were fast, but there wasn’t any breakfast. Only down side: Towels and sheets weren’t very clean (we found hair on them). But there’s always room for improvement

It’s hidden away on one of the alley which makes it a great location If you are trying to get away from the Main Street hustle. We had a balcony view which was very nice view of the plaza and harbor

Stayed here several years ago. wonderfully hospitable. I had the room below ground level, loved it. Lady owner used to patiently wait for me to return each night. How good is that!

The interior is stylish, inviting and everything has been well considered. We had our room upgraded to a suite with a private plunge pool and we just didn’t want to leave

They have access to sea platform with extra charges but the life guard/ staff member at the beach is very friendly and helpful

It had a private beach and the perfect location to everything. The breakfast had a great spread with many options. During our stay, we had an emergency back home and had to leave a couple of days early

just a few minute walk to the city center so a little outside the busy area and ferry/bus drop off and pick up. This made it much quieter but not too far if we wanted to find a nice restaurant in the city center

The wonderful people at the front desk were so helpful and amazing at helping us find a ride to the airport early on a Sunday. The sweet gentleman who works nights at the hotel was such a sweetheart as well

Staying at La Bussola was an absolute dream! We had a partial sea view room with a balcony. The view from our room was stunning and we spent a lot of time just sitting on the balcony taking in the views

The room is solid (2 twin beds with balcony), nothing to sing praises about but gets the job done. TV is hilariously small, but you don’t vacation to Italy to watch TV in the room, so who cares

Great little hotel bang on the beach at Amalfi. The location means that the rooms can be noisy from the street outside, but the balcony doors do a good job keeping it quiet

I reccommend Amalfi to be your home-base, nice places here, decently priced and accessible to all of the other towns. Busses can be pretty busy, also motion sickness can hit you, fast corners and heavy brakes

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Room was very comfortable. The restaurant Sensei was excellent. 4-8 course tasting menu that should not be missed whether or not you stay in the hotel.

We arrived in the morning, well before normal check-in time, but since we had requested airport transfer ahead of time from the hotel and our room was unoccupied, Andrea excitedly let us know that he had arranged for our room to be ready early, which was perfect since we were able to nap after our long red-eye flight

You will not have a room with a view here but the Floridiana more than made up for this in other ways and although we were there only three nights, we were glad that we had picked the Floridiana in hindsight for a number of reasons

A Hidden Gem! The Hotel Floridiana is somewhat tucked away in the middle of the historic district of Amalfi, sharing the building with another hotel and businesses

Rooms are a good size, decorative a little old fashioned in my opinion however very clean and the bathroom has a great shower. Breakfast is a normal mainland European (cold meats and sweets)

Yes you have a good view, but be prepare for long climb when coming back to the hotel as you can see, Hotel is up on the slope of Positano hence the good view

As you could expect, being by the water will cause some interior damage to the rooms like mold on ceilings and some dew against the wall and windows at night but an open window in the morning with a cool breeze is unbeatable

It's very romantic, tiny, perched on top of the cliff. I can only speak for room 8, which is a stand-alone satellite to the hotel. Room is clean, A/C powerful, view gorgeous. The staff is friendly and helpful

The hotel is quaint and small (as are many in Italy) but we are not picky, we thought it was intimate and charming. We are hikers so the 5-10 minute walk to the city was a nice warm up

July 2022 - Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for one night, and we found the staff, room and food to be completely up to our standards. Obviously the building is slightly aged, but we knew what we were paying for

Families with pushchairs/children should take extra care since you’re walking on a tight, live road. Both staff members we spoke with had perfect English, and were always so lovely. Shame for the negative reviews

This place is super close to Amalfi yet far away from the buzz and quiet. The view from the balcony is amazing and even better when you have breakfast there. Big rooms and lovely host.

The best experience I have in Italy the owner Poo treat us like family. Parking is available for 13 euros the night really close to the hotel and almafi is at a walking distance

Residenza Pansa is awesome for a getaway. its the perfect blend of beachy meets hotel with a rustic style. There is free wifi and the service provided is fantastic from suggestions of the staff

They speak English too if needed. Bedrooms are great size amd bathrooms are beautiful too. Would definitely come back here
