The hotel is beautiful, the view is amazing, and the service is fine (some Italians are not very friendly). The room is nice, but the bed is quite uncomfortable. I had back pain every day, as well as a sore neck. The hotel is a bit far from the city downtown, but they have a free shuttle service.

We stayed 3 nights in September at the hotel. Magnificent view and a really cool pool. All the staff was kind and friendly. Hotel was clean and breakfast is really nice. My husband and I had the best experience staying at this hotel. It had the most breath taking views from our balcony of our room as well as the common areas of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and dinner was delicious! The shuttle to their private beach is worth while.

It is close to the center of Amalfi. Although the building is old, it is clean and has an antique feel. It is a hotel run by an old couple with their family, so the service is good, and the breakfast is delicious and homemade, although there are many options. Not much car parking in Amalfi so make sure to ferry or bus into town. Once there you’ll be able to walk or ferry wherever you need to go. This hotel was in a great location for Amalfi. Easy access to everything in town.

A+++ Amalfi hotel This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! I have never stayed at a cleaner place! It is in a perfect location. You can easily walk a short distance into the Amalfi town. It is also extremely close to the pier where you can take ferry rides to other small towns, like Positano and Salerno.

Best location in Amalfi. Shorty easy walk from the Ferry. Best views from our room, breakfast and especially for sunset. They had nice snacks waiting for us in our room and a complimentary bottle of wine "not sure if that was because we use Expedia/orbitz" or was from the hotel. We had great service and stayed in a very comfortable room at the top floor with lots of light and space. We loved the terrace with beautiful views of Amalfi all the way down to the ocean. Spotless, spacious and scenic. The staff and location of this hotel were so good. This was our second hotel on a walking holiday and it could not have been better positioned in the heart of Amalfi. Staff super helpful and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast good and plentiful. Dinner very good. Location great for visiting other towns and sites. A+ for all. Antonio great at providing our drinks.

Grate staff, grate kitchen with specials every day. Full bar on roof top Pergola with amazing views. Property is a 30min walk to Amalfi port/marina with lots of restaurants and shopping. A big shoutout to Antonio, Victor and Ellie, these are the staff that I remember the names, but everyone was super attentive and nice.

The condition of the hotel is excellent; it is clean, modern and well maintained. Staff, including Salvatore at the desk and Antonio in bar and dining room are professional, friendly and helpful. Great place to stay! Our hotel visit was fabulous! It is set on a mountain side looking down at the water and amongst a beautiful surroundings in the mountains! The service was amazing and in the restaurant the food was outstanding! We would stay again!

This is a wonderful property with a very pleasant staff. Rooms are nice but showers are small. They offer a great breakfast and its easy by bus to get to the Center. I would stay there again.

Had difficulty with my arrival due to flight delay. I explain the situation with them and they were very understand. Their customer support is excellent. I would definitely stay with them in the future.

This was our best experience of staying in this region. The view from the room is extraordinary, the room is beautiful, well equipped and very quiet. Luciano and his team are incredibly welcoming, they think of everything and have an answer for everything, sometimes anticipating your requests. What a little gem! A lovely little place with the most outstanding views over Amalfi. Spotlessly clean, free wi fi air conditioning and yes lots of steps up but worth it for the amazing view each room gets. Balcony was small but in all honesty that really didn't bother us, evenings spent with doors open and lovely, cold glass of wine was everything we wanted. Luciano is a legend, nothing is too much...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was incredible! Luciano (the owner) made such an effort to make sure our short time on the Amalfi coast was the best it could possibly be! Luciano is the nicest host in the world and gives great tips for restaurants. He picked us up from the train station, explained everything and booked a great restaurant. The room has a great view of the sea but is very small and actually nothing special. You have to climb a lot of stairs to get here. But it's perfect for 2 days. There is a hot shower, which is an advantage in April.

More than Donna Giulia's house, I would say it is Luciano's balcony. Affable, kind and knowledgeable host (or manager, I don't know). The view from the balcony is worth the price. The rest less.
