Nice enough place with a good location close to the square. Rooms are dated and the walls need painted. Bathrooms only have one type of bottled generic soap, no shampoo and no body lotion (odd for a supposed 4 star hotel). Downstairs lobby/library area is very nice with comfy chairs.

We booked the hotel for an overnight stay in Aosta. The location was perfect as all the sights were walkable & good choice of restaurants/ cafes nearby including the tea shop attached to the hotel that also did an excellent breakfast. Staff were very friendly and they made an excellent recommendation for dinner and booked the table for us. Only downside was the weather which no one can predict.

Great location near Roman wall. Rooms were spacious. We had two adjacent rooms. Breakfast had great assortment from scrambled eggs to local cheeses.

What a wonderful hotel. Very clean and modern and a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. A lovely library area downstairs where we could work on our laptops, as well as a very nice breakfast/afternoon tea area with delicious cakes and coffees. Well-located on a central square, right next to lovely back streets of Aosta. Highly recommended.

For a group of skiers on a short break the Duca D’Aosta was perfectly positioned for the Aosta restaurants and bars, with access to the Aosta / Pila gondola a short walk away. Rooms are modern, comfy and clean. The hotel staff from reception through to the room maids were friendly and courteous throughout our stay. Breakfast buffet is excellent and recommended. The breakfast area transforms into a patisserie with a fabulous selection of cakes etc. to go with your tea, coffee, wine etc. Definately be going back at some future point.

Fantastic stay and very centrally located. Breakfast was lovely and the service was absolutely warm and welcoming. Only minor comment would be that the bed and especially the pillows were not great and could be improved to be more full, fluffy and supportive.

We stayed at Hotel Duca D'Aosta for the second time, and we had a great experience again. The breakfast room is renovated and has fantastic breakfast. The service is top-notch; from reception to restaurant. The room is a bit small but well featured and comfortable. The location is unbeatable. We will stay at Hotel Duca D'Aosta again next time.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Nice welcome at reception. Very convenient for shops and restaurants. Excellent breakfast in the adjoining café. We will definitely return next time in Aosta.

Nice hotel with a few flaws.
We had a very nice room, good space and beautiful view. Front desk staff was always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fairly priced but the buffet was not refilled very quick and if you came a bit later some things were not available any more (although we were still paying the full price). We always had to register for breakfast, which is fine of course but sometimes employees at the coffee counter were rather rude shouting at us what our room number is, although we had registered already.
It was advertised across the hotel that you get aperitivo from 1500-2030 in the hotel. However arriving in the bar at 1915 we were told (again rather rude) that it was closed.
These things seem minor but considering the high prices for rooms/suites there it’s not really acceptable.
Parking there is great, either outdoors in a car park or hotel garage for 15 per day.
Location of the hotel is very convenient right next to the main square.
