Marina Club Hotel

The hotel rooms were not clean. There were cobwebs everywhere. In the bathroom, water from the shower leaked into the room. The water in the sink was electric.

Hotel Marina Baia Domizia I’ve only wrote another feedback ever about another hotel which was the most amazing place I’ve been to. So it only felt fair that I would write one also for the worst hotel on Earth! To start with the entire hotel and in particular the rooms smell of piss. Quite clearly they have a massive plumbing issue that they do not intend to resolve! If you are looking to come to Baia Domizia, save your money and your mood by NOT coming to this hotel. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by the hidden charges: the parking and even the cot that we had requested and should have been free (as stated on the website). They tried to charge us 15€ a day for a cot and *********** had to intervene to put them back in their place! The staff was most unhelpful and rude and even suggested that our toddler slept with us (never mind years of talking out parents around co-sleeping!). If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is NOT the place to be: loud music well over 11.30. Wish it was some tunes you could dance? You are very wrong as there is mazurka and valzer together with some Italian hits from the 80s! At every time of the day there is an annoying person on the microphone who, quite clearly without any success, tries to involve the people in this cringe fest that is supposed to be the “animation” in this place (Maybe a reanimation ward would be more indicated at this place). At 10 am they knocked on the door to clean the room (of course no way to ask to not disturb as no signs provided). Bear in mind dogs are also allowed here and you might happen to have the room next to a barking dog! We had the room on the ground floor and when we returned they had left the balcony open (we left it close) so anyone could jump in our room and steal our staff. Room: At arrival toilet seat broken, shower broken, a series of switch that serve nothing. A creepy hand painted picture without frame (so creepy we literally turned it around), pictures coming off the frame and literally dirt and stains on all the other furnitures. We had a double bed (more like two mattresses pushed together which didn’t even fit the main frame). They told us they had fixed the toilet seat just to sit on it and… it broke again! Hot water: not applicable! Impossible to have a full shower as the water is just lukewarm. Long story short: we checked out a day earlier cause we had enough of the hell hotel. No questions on why (they probably know) and no request for feedback (which I would have been more than happy to provide)
