We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was beautiful. Not much of the staff speaks English so just be aware.
I gave a 4 star because I highly suggest you DO NOT book transportation to the airport from this hotel. The website said complimentary but it’s not complimentary (free). They charged 120 euros for a 12 minute drive. We were told the drive was 30 minutes (which is still a lot and we should have checked it ourselves).

I have had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Santa Lucia. The location is excellent, right by the waterfront, with beautiful views and easy access to many of Naples’ main attractions.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was elegant and relaxed.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located and comfortable place to stay in Naples.

A Nightmare in Hotel Form
If you’re looking for a place that’ll make you question humanity itself, look no further. This hotel is a haven for the incompetent and rude. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the kind of staff that make you lose faith in society. The front desk attendant couldn’t have cared less that I was standing there, and when I finally got their attention, they managed to be both rude and completely clueless. Honestly, it was like a comedy show, but without the funny.
Bottom line: The only thing this hotel has going for it is its ability to make you immediately regret the moment you ever decided to book it. Do yourself a favor—skip this disaster. Even a cardboard box in an alley would feel like luxury compared to this place.

When we booked this trip, 9 months ago, we asked for a balcony room, even asking about smoking cigars on the balcony. We arrived this week to the front desk clerk fighting with some ladies in the desk office. After the fighting stopped he came out to help us. We were then assigned a room that looked at the center of the hotel. It was dark and very depressing. I went down to ask for a balcony, so I could enjoy cigars, drink wine and see the view. We were upgraded for 250 Euros (around CAD$400 extra for one night) Arriving at this room we found that the balcony was about 12" deep. I ended up sitting on the ground, just outside the door, crammed on the balcony. We stayed in three hotels in our 10 days in Italy, this was the only one that not only disappointed us, but greatly disappointed us.
In addition, we asked the gentleman to please order a taxi to pick us up the next morning at 6:30am, as we had to make a flight. He told us to go to our room and come back after 6:00pm/7:00pm to make the request. I'm guessing that this is because that's when the next shift came on. We stay in 4 & 5 star hotels all of the time. Requests, such as this, are simple and always handled immediately (anywhere else they would have offered to leave a note for the next shift)
My one big compliment was to the nice man who helped us with our bags and showed us to our room. He was so pleasant and smiled the whole time.

We only had a 1 night stay in Naples but this hotel was the highlight. Great views, great location, great staff and rooms. Would definitely stay here on another trip to Naples.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes and pre-cut fruits. It would have been even better if the room service was accompanied by a microwave.

"Approved from all points of view", above all pet-friendly. Very precise restoration, full of art and good taste. The staff is exceptional s great location📸, cleanliness and quality of mattresses and pillows for me and my neck is always hard to find (I asked for Dorellana) ... 10 and praise🤗 !! Perfect gym. Clientele too. The only insurmountable drawback concerns the lack of a roof and spa, but basically it's better this way. I love, thank you to the hotel and all the staff. The sea view room I booked seemed to be upgraded. The room is quite large and the decoration is very "palace" feeling. I feel very happy when I wake up. In addition, the sea is super close when I open the window. The opposite is the Castel dell'Ovo and I can see the houses along the coastline of Naples. The scenery is really beautiful. The service is also good. Very professional and polite, very Italian. The shower room is super large and has two shower heads. Two people can take a shower together... But it seems unnecessary. Instead, the toilet space is very small and cramped. There is no place to put toiletries in the shower room. This design is quite special. Overall, it is good. If you live by the sea, I think it is ok to choose this hotel. You can't go wrong.

The room is very clean, tidy and bright. I like it very much. The sea view is also very good. The location is excellent. This choice is really good. It was recommended by a local friend. It is really good.

Very satisfied, very exquisite, the surrounding is also very safe, we went in June, the air conditioning was very cool, quiet and comfortable, super satisfied! Highly recommended to stay here next time
