Stayed for 10 days in June.

Pools were incredible and plenty of sun loungers for guests. Spa was lovely and massage was amazing. Breakfast was incredible — the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Reception staff very polite and helpful.

Location is brilliant — close enough to town but not too noisy. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept.

Only had Bed & Breakfast but paid for BBQ night and ‘Grand Buffet’. Great selection and high-quality food.

Went for a pool view room. Was spacious, clean and well-maintained. Only improvement would be the air conditioning (not strong enough) and the shower (very hot and cold).

We've stayed at the Aqualux several times. It's just a few steps to the pedestrian zone in Bardolino. The hotel itself is in a very quiet location, and the outdoor area with the pools in the middle of the hotel complex is very nice. You could easily spend the whole day there. The people there are very friendly.

The hotel was top notch 15/10, breakfast perfect 10/10, fine dining didn't go well at all with meal choices (am from the UK) so found it hard to survive on tiny portions. Staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful and made you feel comfortable. The wellness area was spacious, and the outdoor area had enough space for everyone. Gym facilities. Rooms we're cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels. Close to many restaurants, information centre, and bus stop. When checking out we realised we had been billed for every water that was served to us on our stay with our dinner, which didn't make sense, so do advise yourself and your guess.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel back in July/Aug 2023. We were a family of 16 and the hotel really went out of their way to make sure our rooms were closed together and that for dinner (we were half board) we had the same table on the mezzanine floor outside in the beautiful garden terrace area. The food was outstanding, every evening there was a variety of different dishes to choose from. We had lunch most days and again the salads, pizzas and sandwiches were good portions and the quality was good.
The swimming pool area was kept clean at all times, I thoroughly enjoyed doing water aerobics most mornings and visited the spa area a few times where I could unwind. I had a massage which was good and relaxing.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main tourist area of Bardolino where you will find plenty of shops, restaurants and bars and 10 minute walk to the lake. It’s an absolutely beautiful town. We hired a car and parked it in the car park of the hotel. I would definitely go back and stay at this hotel.

I had a disappointing experience with Aqualux Hotel's customer service. They refused to assist me in canceling a booking through their system, insisting I had booked it via Google ads, forcing me to email Google directly. Unfortunately, Google Booking cannot help me either. It is therefore in the hotels responsibility to cancel my stay. Super unprofessional to ping pong a customer around like this. From the reviews I am reading below, it seems to be a common issue of lack of helpfullness in this hotel. Due to this lack of support, I will not be rebooking with Aqualux.

Booked this hotel for a birthday surprise for my partner. Hotel is very nice and the heated pool is a nice addition when the weather is cold and drizzly. The breakfast was ok. Only downside is when we checked out we were hit with a €16 city tax charge which was not advised on my booking confirmation or at check in. I advise to tell your guests if this charge so they can make sure they have euros left over when checking out.

It was a great stay. Tidy and with wide variety options for breakfast, very kind and professional staff.
The only thing I was disappointed is that they don’t have an ironing machine ! I think as a 4 stars hotel you should have one.

We stayed for 5 nights with our two small children (infant and toddler) in a Garden Suite, and felt that it was the perfect amount of space for us all to sleep and play comfortably. The on-site breakfast is extensive and well done, and the restaurant changes its menu daily..
We loved how gracious and accommodating the staff was to us and our children. It was their vacation too, and it certainly felt like it! The hotel is a short walk to downtown Bardolino for shopping, restaurants, and ferry access to other areas of the lake. The hotel is also accessible to the main bus routes that bring you to other lake towns (and only 20 minutes to Gardaland). We did not rent a car during our stay and felt that we had enough to do within the vicinity using public transit, however taxis were difficult to find unless booked in advanced (we also stayed during "off season" during September).
As a family that travels often, I highly recommend a stay here. We would stay again!
