A hotel full of history. The lobby and breakfast area is well decorated. Around 10/15 mins walk to train station, which is convenient.

It's a 3 stars hotel located not that far from the train station (15 minutes on foot), but far from the upper old town.
Beautiful hotel interior related to Garibaldi.
Clean, but cold room: I reckon it's because of potential issues with the construction allowing the wind to get into the room from the street.
Very small single room.
Friendly staff, especially in the breakfast area. Decent breakfast for 3 stars accomodation.

The location of the hotel is great and it is clean and comfortable.

Reception is open 24h but you need to ring a bell in the night (this is no problem). Staff speak English good. Room is enough for one night stay after fly. Room equipped on fridge, TV, big bed and wardrobe. Bathroom has average size and has bath with shower. Elevator available. WiFi is available and has enough speed to streaming services. Breakfast is basic (some sweets, ham, cheese, milk etc) but enough for most people.
Summary - for one night hotel is enough but not cheap. Big advantage of this hotel is distance to the airport (very close). Taxi from airport ~15 EUR (after 1pm bus from airport unavailable)

The hotel itself is fine, but I am terribly upset with the service. We had a night flight, and asked the person at the counter is it possible to reserve a taxi in advance, and she responded that it is not possible, but we could wake up a little earlier and ask the receptionist to call a taxi for us in the early morning. We have done it according to the recommendation, and at 03:30 am the next receptionist told us that we actually had to make a taxi reservation! He tried to book us a taxi but that didn't work. We had to jump on a taxi together with another customer, and after all, the taxi driver charged 40 euro instead of the agreed 24 euro for the 5 minutes drive

The Wi-Fi is terrible, dropping every 2 minutes. The connection process is a quest on its own, the company must be tracking the network activity of the guests. The TV in our room was off to the corner, the TV stand had wheels, but still was blocked by the fridge.
The carpet had stains and the corner of the wall had mold.
The breakfast was quite pleasant with a wide variety and served in a good time frame.
