Fantastisk to sit and watch the sunset on the terrace. The staff are super friendly, and you get a family feeling. When we ordered a drink, they came with a nice platter of cheese, salami and some other pastery.
Excellent ski room, very close to the lift (200m). Good breakfast, top parking and genuine employee. Don't think there's anything better than this around. Our room was like new and the bathroom had a big and comfy shower.
Great hotel with amazing fresh food! Rooms with huge balconies and great view.
Quite, close to the lift, nice ski room, very clean, very convenient parking area. For me the best hotel to stay in Abetone.
Hotel offers full board with delicate Tuscan food. Daily room cleaning. Staff and personnel are the hotel straight. Kind, gentle, and client oriented all worker are polite and respectful.
Managed with great professionalism, in the dining room Ms. Manuela knows how to please you, the tart for breakfast is excellent. We will definitely be back

The following review is about the restaurant attached to the hotel. A restaurant where we had a great time, from the welcome to the service to the quality of the dishes on the bill. The menu is just right, typical local dishes well prepared with quality raw materials. The portions are very generous. There is a great deal of attention to celiacs with many possibilities of preparing gluten-free dishes...
Review for the Restaurant attached to the Hotel. A truly unforgettable dinner, with wonderful blueberry tagliatelle, with a fantastic purple dough. Great meal for variety and quality: delicious, soft meat; spectacular lamb; excellent side dish. Fantastic blast from the past with Spumone: an ancient dessert, always the same and perfect. Attention: reserve perhaps the most varied and splendid female...
Not to be missed!!! Excellent traditional dishes .. Exquisite home-made first courses, tender fillet .. Fri mushrooms all fantastic ... The very kind and friendly service ... Fair prices..we will definitely be back

Great location, very nice staff. The slightly older structure but very neat and clean. The breakfast is also excellent.
family run business, it's a two stars hotel but comfortable enough and clean... We didn't eat here at diner, but the breakfast was very good, with a variety of pastries and also cheese and ham... not a true international breakfast but ok anyway. Guess it has seen better days, in the sixty's maybe, in the heyday of skiing in Abetone, and I guess it was kind of a three to four stars in those days.....
I got everything year. Beds are comfy and clean bathrooms. Good food each night italian style and not to far to the skin resort aproximetly 1 mile
We haven't eat at the restaurant, but they let us to give them some pre-cooked pizzas and heat them on their oven. Rooms are incredible small but we stay one night at a very reasonable price.
Very nice place to stay and very hospitable staff. food is good as well. Ski rental available at 30m walking.. nearest ski lift is 150m away which can take u to abetone.. beginners (learners) should go to abetone.. mountain top blue slopes are not for learning..

Pleasant place, welcoming, clean rooms, young managers, very nice, kind and helpful. We eat very well both dinner and breakfast. Also excellent for families.
Excellent structure surrounded by greenery. Historical structure with a past to tell. The rooms are very nice, the staff extremely available and very kind. To be recommended and obviously to return in the spring-summer period to enjoy even more the places that only the mountains of Tuscany and Abetone can offer
Structure of the late nineteenth century (if I'm not mistaken 1896) finely adapted to our times, equipped with rooms with all the necessary comforts. Availability and kindness are virtues of managers and staff. Warm and welcoming, it lends itself to every nice event. A positive vote certainly for the menus. The service of the structure blends harmoniously with the activities that take place on the...

Lovely location and spectacular views, very helpful, friendly staff, large rooms and fabulous fireplace to rest by on a dark, cold evening after a walk in the snow!
I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Villa Patrizia. The room was comfortable, clean and had everything one might need. It was a perfect setting for a very relaxing night sleep. A beautiful hotel located in a beautiful hilltop place. The room was a good size but outdated. Eventhough the place didnt look busy, We were placed at the farthest room to the main hotel area and I didn't even know if there was anyone else on that side of the building because there were certainly no other rooms that were lit at night. It was a huge hotel so I wonder why we were isolated.
Dinner was amazing. The breakfast buffet offered many choices and sufficed to start the day. The rooms offered beautiful views among the clouds. The SPA! Oh the SPA! Melissa gave a spectacular massage. The facility was spotless, warm, welcoming and cozy. As a massage therapist myself, I feel more than qualified to recommend visiting the spa. I wish I had more time to avail myself of the services.
Magnificent setting for this lovely hotel, set up in the top of the mountains. The lower floor of the hotel is nicely modernised. But the bedrooms especially the shower was quite out of date and showing signs of this. The bed, bedding, towels, the whole hotel were spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely lovely and helpful and although very professional displayed their willingness to enjoy humour...
A Serene Slice of Tuscany with Unforgettable Views and Flavors My September stay at the Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco Resort & Spa was nothing short of magical. Stayed in early August for four nights while attending an amazing wedding and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Guilia and her mother are very nice. The man working with them are also very kind. A nice place where we were happy to stay:-)
Swimming pool located on a hill with a grove, at the top, equipped with sun loungers. 2 swimming pools one x children's bar with sandwiches and cold first courses you cannot bring food from outside.
At only 500 meters altitude near Pistoia lies the village (hamlet) Castagno. The way up is already an adventure, with beautiful chestnut trees and hairpin bends. If you pay attention you might see a deer or a fox.. (we do..) Once at the top we were welcomed by the sweet Giulia and her mother. The apartment was Italian with the basic necessities. don't expect huge luxury but just a clean apartment...
Not only a swimming pool, but also a beautiful terraced lawn where you can relax in the shade of the chestnut trees. The train station is very convenient, on the Porretta Pistoia line, one of the most evocative in Italy.

The only slight disappointment has been the breakfast, I find it annoying to come to a five star hotel with breakfast included and to have to pay extra at breakfast most cooked options... only include scrambled eggs and have to pay for fried eggs or omelet, only include hard boiled eggs and have to pay for soft boiled eggs...
A spa hotel that looks impressive on the outside, and provides a warm welcome, after cycling from Lucca the welcome drink was very welcome! They are really polite, they serve gluten free breakfast under request. Is a little bit far from the city, I recommend you go if you have a car.
Don’t let the outside appearance influence to much , the price is fair , reception service is friendly , inside the rooms are clean, everyday breakfast with enough options and location is accessible to reach Pisa, Florence in one hour by car and to do long walks in nature.
