6 stars!! Fabulous hotel with the best buffet breakfast of all time. The staff was so kind to book our airport taxi and pack us to go breakfasts at 4am! Highly recommend visiting their spa - Roberta is an incredible masseuse and the sauna is just lovely. The location is perfect - 15 minute walk to the Funicular or train station and a 5 min walk to a beautiful park with walking trails. The rooms are also massive with stunning views of Tuscany...I can't recommend this hotel enough.

We booked spa services. First we enjoyed the steam shower, dry sauna and jacuzzi. Second, Roberta gave us a very relaxing massages. Her technique was perfect. The facility was very clean.

Together with my family we decided to spend a weekend in Montecatini to visit Valdinevole and the Vinci Museum. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the receptionist and the director; luggage is on a trolley and an attendant takes it to the room. The attic room is large and spotless. Bathrooms are medium in size and very clean. We decided to stop for dinner at the Grand Hotel; we choose the meat menu and the tagliata we were served was tender and tasty. Great desserts. Finally the whiskey level had a pleasant chat with the director. The next morning at breakfast we find a rich buffet of sweet and savory items. The staff is polite and discreet and very patient with children. Convenient parking is also available: €10 per day. We will definitely be back.

The rooms are as cold as outside. After all, it's 2024. The air conditioners have four settings: heat, cool, air dry, and fan. But this hotel has central air conditioning. Half the year it's set to heat, and the other half to cool, just like 50 years ago. So it's not possible to comfortably decide how you want it. The temperature will be what you don't want, but what the hotel has decided for you. Let the children freeze. And who needs children, that's their problem!

Got in late yesterday 27/5/24 for the one night with a group
At first look the hotel looks lovely but reeception wasnt very helpful at all when asked for an iron nothing or when I woke up at 5:30 am and in bad need of a cup of tea so I rang reception to ask and was told nothing open yet until 7am
I would not need to ask if there was a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee in the room.
Very poor for a supposedly 4/5 star hotel

Our favorite hotel! as always, the most sincere and pleasant place in Montecatin, not paying attention to all sorts of little things (lack of curtains in the toilet or telephone in the room...).

Checked in on 15 May 2024 for 3 nights under group tour. Stayed in a room at level 4 for 3 pax. Room was spacious with 2 level (upper level with additional bed). Breakfast everyday the same. Nothing much nearby to walk around in the evening. No gym, but there is a swimming pool.
