Grand Hotel Croce Di Malta

A really great hotel, our suite was wonderful and made all three of very happy. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choice and nice coffee. Stayed for ten days in August so enjoyed the pool and trips out in the car too. Will definitely visit again. **Note paid tourist tax charge as an extra on invoice but was asked to pay it again as we left, we noted the first tourist charge by email and requested a refund. Sadly revived a note back in capital letters stating we hadn't paid it, even though we had an invoice showing we had paid. Apart from that we had a really lovely time, great hotel.

Great experience @ Grand Hotel Croce di Malta. Rooms were ready and clean upon arrival. Rooms were also spacious.
Staff was courteous and accommodating. Food and service were very good.

The hotel is clean and beautiful and the pool is the best! So relaxing and overall a great stay! Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area.

A beautiful place to stay in Montecatini. Chill by the pool, drink at the bar, get out to the closest bar for a drink, eat at the center square, get another drink at the bar in the parque on a way back, sleep well in a comfortable bed.

Great location by a huge beautiful park, walking distance to the main square, in a quiet neighborhood. We had a corner room with a great view.
Our bedoom and bathroom areas were large with plenty of storage.
Nice pool, bar, and public area seating.

We were on a tour (group of 50) of Italy and stayed in Milan our 1st 2 days. The hotel was nice there, but not nearly as nice and clean as the di Malta. We were on the 5th floor (highly recommend you stay on the 5th) and the views were incredible! We had a walk out balcony too!

The bathroom has a full shower (not the typical Italian bathtub with half a shower wall) and was update too! Out of the 3 4 star hotels we stayed at this hotel was the only one with USB plugs by each side of the bed.

The meals were great and the espresso machines all worked. 3 in the dining room made it easy to get coffee quickly and not have a long wait.

The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of food available.

Also, well withing walking distance of a lot good places to eat!

I've stayed at a lot of hotels in America and this is, by far, one of the best I've ever been in. I'd say it's a 4 plus star hotel.

What an incredible hotel. Located at the end of the street near the park. We received an incredible welcome from the two ladies at reception and throughout our stay Francesca the receptionist gave nothing but 5 star service all the way. The pool is fab, but the staff just don't seem to be happy. It's a bit of a downer. We found one guy that was helpful. Also, the food menu is not the best, but edible and might suit others. It didn't suit us. Note, if you are waiting at the bar and there is a function on by the pool, then you will be left waiting at the bar!!! The food in the restaurant is expensive enough, but nice. Again, I struggled with the staff their in the first evening we ate and every morning at breakfast. Can I suggest they at least say hello to guests and stop banging plates around the dining room especially in the morning. Breakfast is the same.... Every single morning, no variation,but it is tasty and plentiful. The spa... well I don't think it's in operation. Overall, this really is a beautiful hotel and we slept so well. There was no noise, our beds were made and fresh towels left. Reception all very helpful. Just a few small adjustments. We would love to go back some day. A hidden gem.
