The resort is lovely, well kept and the atmosphere was great. The staff were exceptional. They made sure you had the best experience.
Two that stood out were our maid Angela who looked after our room and Angelo who looked after us each breakfast time in the signature level breakfast room.
It's well worth doing some of the excursions. We booked for wine tasting, the evening meal in the mountains and the trip to Palermo to see and experience more of the island
Good hotel with all inclusive board. Unfortunately we have got food poisoning with severe consequences. on the last day of our stay on 25/10/2024 (it was one day before hotel closes for winter. maybe they wanted to save on buying fresh food ingredients?)
That's not acceptable for an expensive 5 star hotel
Otherwise good hotel with good rooms, but our stay was spoiled.
Gave 4 star for location due to stony beach.

Angela, who did an amazing job cleaning our bungalow. Every time we came back, it was immaculate.
Angelo, our waiter in Chang Thai for breakfast. A big bear of a man who every morning greeted us with a big beaming smile. Sorry we missed you on our last day, we wanted to thank you for your care every morning.
And thirdly, the young man/lifeguard (sorry, we never asked you name) by the Signature Level pool who sprang up and rushed over to help us with the sunbeds and umbrellas. He Said “please allow me, I’m here for you.” A very kind and helpful young man.
But all the staff at Grand Palladium are amazing and a credit to your company.
We really enjoyed our stay there and look for to coming back again.
Last week my wife and I spent four days at the Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa. The whole experience was wonderful, from the food, the staff, the grounds and the efficiency of the app experience. Even though, this is part of a global resort chain — it had a very personal and boutique vibe.
The staff was super helpful. Prior to arriving in Sicily, they coordinate taxi services to and from the Palermo airport making it extremely efficient to get to around under time constraints or the early hours of the morning. The info desk associates were extremely informative in writing out detailed maps of sites to the train system and downtown Palermo — making it very accessible to adventure off the resort property.
The food + drink options / restaurant options were fantastic — including the beach bar and buffet. It offered a great assortment of Sicilian cuisine options (seafood, pastries, meats) and other generic options if you’re a less adventurous eater.
The beach /sea was lovely — especially if you’re a swimmer! As expected there’s small pebbles/ soft rocks where the tide comes in, making it a tad slower to get into the water. But once you’re in; it’s fantastic. The rocks on the sea floor are nice to stand on if you just want to tread water. Unlike other resorts we’ve stayed at, you didn’t have to compete for lounge chairs or umbrellas. Everything was clean and set up. And you had quick access to the restaurant or bar. We prefer to be on the beach and in the sea; but the pools were well kept and nice to relax in as well.
Overall, we’d 100% recommend this resort and would stay here again.
The food is amazing particularly the Italian and Mediterranean food. Went here on out honeymoon and will never forget it. Their staff was fantastic as well, highly motivated and seemed to genuinely care if your experience was a good one.
We enjoyed the beach there as a family. The room was very clean. The food as all inclusive was OK. I expected better than that to be honest.
The staff were wonderful, especially Francesco who served us at the buffet everyday and took initiative to learn my kids names and know their food preparation preferences, the personal greeting each meal by name made it extra special.
