My stay at this hotel was not planned, rather had no other choice. Unfortunately the price-value rate was not so good. Not sure why the rooms looked so outdated, but it looked like as they were not renovated for a long time. It was not up to Mercure standards. The breakfast was interesting as it was my first stay in Italy. I was missing a good coffee as they only had in warmer jugs. Hope they will renovate it to be a good hotel inside the city centre.

This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The lobby is nice, but outside are lots of camped homeless people which makes it feel quite unsafe.

The first room we were given was absolutely awful, like something from a horror movie. Also, the hot water didn't work and it creaked with every step. Fortunately, after raising this to the front desk, we were given a new room which was more comfortable and had working amenities.

Both rooms were extremely dated and didn't line up with the lobby at all.

Great location however the hotel is in need of a serious refurbishment. Although it was clean, the room looked straight out of the 90's with stained carpets, walls and peeling paint. There are also no modern expectations like easily accessible power outlets or USB charging ports. It was sufficient for a 1 night stay however I would look somewhere else for any longer given the price.

Very good location n the Mt. Etna view suite made our stay very comfortable. Decor was modern. Amenities were satisfactory.

But decently spread Breakfast was utter disappointment with it’s only sweet n too many sweets or cold food options.
We ordered omelette which came as an extra order but almost 20 min after. It was huge compare to its price but unfortunately it was burnt from the top n not really edible so we couldn’t.
Though most of the guests were British for the hotel but staff hardly can speak in English. For dinner also not much of food options even staff struggled to understand when we asked for Pizza n after 7 min of holding the call for room service they informed no pizza.
For us we felt this place is better to stay without the food.

Medium good hotel. Clean, cozy, but with a few remarks on the maintenance. The air conditioning at the reception works at full speed, while the room is almost not felt.

i’m sorry ,this hotel service is very very poor ,wifi speed so slow, wifi speed is like 1.2G ,, when you going to complain about wifi,they said we are sorry 😞

The bed feels like a motel 8 bed. The wall paper is Peeling in the rooms and hallway. I would have given this place a 2 star but I enjoyed the bathroom size

The hotel is okay, not the newest but everything you need. In the room, the bathtub was not completely clean. That was a huge disappointment. Above all, I find hygiene the most important.
Breakfast was good.
The salad we took in the restaurant was the worst. We ordered a salad with chicken for 15 euro, all we got was some lettuce, tomato, egg, some pieces of cooked chicken and the "special" orange mayonnaise. We saw the make that, he came with a cup of mayonnaise to the bar, took a slice of orange and put some drops in it, put his nose inside to smell and brought it to us. It had no taste different than normal mayonnaise.
For being the most expensive dish on the bar menu I expected something better.

Very good room with a great view of Mount Etna. Excellent service. Very good breakfast - very close to Geno which I consider to be the best in Italy.
