Taormina Palace Hotel

This hotel does not qualify for a 4 star hotel in my opinion. To reach the hotel, you have to walk on the side of a high way where cars are driving. The condition of the room is really poor. You can tell everything is super old. Also, the bathroom towels were 10 years old. You could tell it needs replacement and the towels were extremely overused. I booked partial sea view, which means that you're looking on the high way with cars coming up and down, and after that you see a small part of the sea. The staff was lovely though, but that was it.

Terrible for the price. They never heard of any kind of amenities in this place obviously. No iron, no soap holder in the shower. Mo furniture... This is extremely basic and should be reflected in the price. The service is inexistent. Ghost hotel... Terrible

This hotel and the staff is awful! I would NOT recommend staying here and would give 0 stars if I could. Bunch of crooks! I booked this hotel through Expedia. The air condition unit was broken. They allegedly did not have another like room to let me stay in and sent me to a sister resort which was supposed to be “much nicer and newer.” When I got to the sister hotel, it looked like it was built in 1802, had bugs in the bed, was filthy, and a foul smell. When I called the hotel back to indicate that I wanted to come back and figure something else out they told me too bad, they would not allow me to stay at their resort and kept my money. I ended up having to leave the other hotel and paid for ANOTHER 3 night reservation. The hotel I ended up at was much nicer and closer to the beach! I will be disputing the charges, as this is fraudulent and theft! The woman I dealt with was thin, tall, had light brown hair and said her name was Claudia! Additionally, the nicer hotel I found was much cheaper! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Crooks!
