Warm welcome from Chef Ivano. Great restaurant. Bravo cook. Excellent desserts, except "La millefoglie ci cannolo". Biscuits were used instead of Sicilian waffles. Absolutely fix it. Overall to come back

All the staff are so nice. The lobby/restaurant is also a great place to escape the heat, relax and have a drink in a beautiful air-conditioned area.

Awesome hotel in a great oceanfront location the room upgrade was amazing with a view of the harbor and mount Etna. Wonderful staff everywhere. I’ve huge pool and gym. Walking in the old city is very cool at night. Easy parking. I could live here forever.

Great location to walk everywhere. The Room was great with beautiful staircase and comfortable bed. Staff was great especially our Bartender who greeted us every night with our usual night cap 🍸
I woke up every morning ready for the Delicious Italian Breakfast!! So yummy
There is something to be said about Sicily in December. Few tourist and friendly locals. Would definitely return to Ortea Palace.
We loved the farmer Market in town...amazing fresh produce.

Where do I start.
The service right from pulling up to the front was just impeccable. Gianluca was just amazing...give that man a raise.
The room was beautiful and had the most perfect views...absolutely spotless and everything worked.
It is the perfect location for exploring the town...
It is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in recently.
Breakfast was perfect and the bar was amazing....just a shame we were only there for one night...

My husband and I stayed in many hotels throughout Sicily and this was by far our best experience. The service, aesthetic, and location are incredible...almost magical. Alessandro and Angelo were so welcoming, helpful and informative - many thanks for a great stay!

The hotel has the perfect location and a stunning foyer. We were so excited for our stay here and pleased that we were upgraded to a suite based on our Marriott status.
Upon arrival, we were treated to a refreshing drink in the hotel bar, which was very welcome in the heat.
However, when we went to our 3rd Floor room, we were horrified of the sewage smell in the hallway. It was there for our whole stay.
The room had air conditioning, but no matter how low we turned it, the room was barely cool. Really shocking, with the cost of a room.
The beautiful pool in the hotel pictures can only be accessed if you pay an additional €60/day. I have never seen a Marriott property with such a policy. Really disappointing.
Pet fee is also one of the highest in Europe, at €50/night, but they at least did add a pet bed, water bowl and toy.
Overall, it’s a beautiful property, but they definitely have some work to do to deliver luxury hotel service.
Beware that Parking, pool access and a pet fee could add hundreds of Euro to an already high cost stay. The public parking in front of the hotel is only about €20/day instead of the €40/day the hotel charges for valet.

This hotel and staff is amazing. Everyone was really fantastic especially Concetta at the front desk who tirelessly helped with resolving a lost bag issue we had with the airline. She as well as others help plan excursions and walking trips for sightseeing.
We are experienced travelers and this hotel stood out as one of our favorites. We got 2 of the large bi-level junior suites. The room and water view was amazing. We loved the very large opening window on the 3rd floor which allowed us to see the sights and hear the sounds of this fantastic area and the fountain right outside. The food and service in the restaurant was amazing and the bar and bartender was top notch. Literally the only downside to this fantastic hotel was the size of the showers, but that is the same all over Europe. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Reception staff excellent. Room was not ready on our arrival and had to wait, but when 30 minutes passed frontboffice just upgraded us from classic to suite and this without any aggro from our end as we were waiting patiently. Room is split level and huge. Breakfast team work like clockwork following covid protocol to the letter. All staff speak English. Well done to everyone involved in this Hotel.
