Good Hotel for 3-day stay
Older hotel in heart of the pedestrian district. Close to all of Como’s best sites. Ferries and other public transportation close by. Parking is 5 minutes walk.
Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Francesca was super helpful at check-in and sorting out parking for rental car.

The location of the Alberto Firenze was perfect! It’s a short walk from the Como San Giovanni train station and an even shorter walk to the ferry station and Como-Brunate funicular. Downstairs in the square there are multiple delicious dining options.
Our room had plenty of space for our luggage and the finishes all appeared to be updated within the last few years.
We only had a couple of nights in Como but hope to go back and if we do I would happily book the Albergo Firenze again!

We stayed one night at this place. The location is perfect! The personal was service minded, very polite and always meeting us with a smile. We decided at last minute to take the breakfast at the hotel which was not disappointing us with everything you wish regardless if you like sweet or salty stuffs. The cappuccino and espresso was gently served by an extremely kind lady always there to help us with our requests. In short, we will be back there and warmly recommend it to anyone!

this is the perfect hotel , with the most incredible service and in a perfect location. the value for money is excellent. you will sleep comfortably and be surrounded in walking distance to easily access all that Como offers. luciano.

Recommended by a local friend in Como. The location is very good, right in the square, but you need to find a nearby parking lot to park. The nearest parking lot is very expensive at 45 euros. If you ask the front desk, he will recommend a farther one for 25 euros. So you can just change the parking lot yourself. There is a restaurant by the lake. The guy is very handsome and talkative, and the food is delicious. We also went to eat at the most crowded ones. We didn't go to the restaurant in the square downstairs.

I booked a room for my christmas holiday 2 months earlier than my arrival. There is a visa procedure for Turkish citizens to visit Italy. I booked the room from booking. com. But for visa procedure, I sent an email to the hotel and requested confirmation document. They confirmed my booking and I had Italy visa with that document. In the day of our flight, I randomly checked my email box and surprise! Albergo Firenze canceled my booking the day before I fly to Italy. I called them and asked why. They told me they are overbooked! I told them I paid for this room one week ago and I booked it 2 months ago. I was so sad because I spent lots of money and I gave the confirmation document to Italian Embassy. The passport control police has the right to call the hotel and check if we will really stay there. I told them I will travel with two little kids and its impossible to find a new hotel in christmas season. They offered me a very bad hotel with the same price! Don't trust this hotel. Don't trust their confirmation. They can cancel your booking suddenly and they can sell your room for more money.

The hotel is located in the city center, right in the pedestrian area. Downstairs, you'll find bars, patisseries, restaurants, an ice cream parlor—literally everything you need. The hotel staff is kind and ready to assist you in every way possible. The rooms are nice, simple, and clean. I definitely recommend it!
