The hotel is clean and you can park in the yard. There is a big supermarket next to it. It is a 15-minute drive from the city center, so it is only suitable for self-driving. The room is at the level of domestic home inns. The room on the second floor does not have any exterior view, just like a skylight. Alas, it is not satisfactory.

The room is large and has a balcony. It is right in the center of the town, with a good location and free parking. The room is clean, cost-effective, and convenient to go anywhere. Highly recommended!

The room was arranged on the first floor, facing the road. There were two emergency exits hidden behind the curtains, and one of the doors was not closed. The soundproofing was very poor, and I could hear people chatting and traffic outside at night. This was the worst hotel to stay in when traveling in Europe. It felt like I was living on the side of a main road.

The facility is a bit old but well maintained. The room is clean and the place is overall quiet. The service and treatment is so friendly. There are plenty of shops nearby and the main town/lake is only short drive and accessible via walking. Plenty of parking on the site.

The room we were given was ok large room , City view , Breakfast so Good , the Only this I really didn't like was the room had a Noise up in the ceiling sounding like a electrical power surge Noise every so often . We were on vacation so I just tried to ignore it . But everything else was pretty well as expected

It's a good location. 10 minutes walk from San Giovanni station. Room is big and nice. 10 minutes walking to the center.

Super small shower area. I am 150cm tall and 42 kg , hard to turn around. The doors of the shower area got a big gap such that the floor was all flooded after shower. Room big for a double room and small for a single one .

We expected low cost and we got low cost, so can’t complain on that. However this hotel could do with a fresh coat of paint especially when price/night is still high. Staff was very friendly and helpful

The hotel was clean and very well maintained. The bed was great and comfortable. We had the room in the attic. I would say it’s slightly less than what I would have expected for the price given that we didn’t have any windows looking out. The location was fantastic. Absolutely loved this hotel. The location is PERFECT. The only small negatives was that the air-conditioning was not on and safe was difficult to understand. Would certainly stay here again and is wholeheartedly recommend.

Very good location in heart of Como. Near to bus & ferry terminals. Noisy at night till 12am but if windows are fully closed it’s silent. But if in summer windows need to be open, then though luck. I went in winter so it’s amazing

Good Hotel for 3-day stay Older hotel in heart of the pedestrian district. Close to all of Como’s best sites. Ferries and other public transportation close by. Parking is 5 minutes walk. The location of the Alberto Firenze was perfect! It’s a short walk from the Como San Giovanni train station and an even shorter walk to the ferry station and Como-Brunate funicular. Unique property with real charm and rare find to accommodate four people in one room. That said, the in-room stairs are a little perilous. Friendly staff. And so close to train station. Definitely a good place for a few nights.

Warm welcome two minutes from Lake Como. The room doesn't have a small fridge and is quite small, as is the hotel, but the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Good location for the bottom of Lake Como The room is nice and is in a good location if you want the bottom of Lake Como or are watching Como football. Originally we had planned to stay in Como but I was put off by an unwelcoming host so booked Locanda Milano at the last minute. Some of the best food I’ve ever had, such a stunning location, and I don’t think the staff could have been any more accommodating or friendly truly if your in lake como this is a must and it gave me and my friends a very pleasant memory. The price wasn’t overly expensive not cheap but I’d say 100% worth it

We were a group of 16 people and the owners picked us up and drove us to the restaurant from the funicular. The view, the setting for dinner, the staff and the food were all sensational. Thoroughly recommend going and make arrangements for them to pick you up.

We didn't stay here but went for dinner with a reservation. They picked us up from the top of the Funicular, and brought us to their "home". It's a hotel with crazy amazing views. The food was very rustic and delicious, and the service was fabulous. If you are staying in Como area, make the trek, but reserve ahead and ask for a pickup at the top of the funicular.

We have just returned from an amazing time here. The place is lovely, full of Italian charm. The hotel is so close to the funicular and the ordinary railway it’s a great base to stay in. They offered a transfer service that is a very short car ride I later learned isn’t complimentary…5 euros every time isn’t bad but when the Funicular was down it totally derailed my travel plans.

Staff went out of the way to help and the view from my room made mynjaw drop open. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna were great also with an amzing view and the restaurant was top notch. The front desk clerks were extremely friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our shower flooding, which was not resolved due to the holiday schedule. The hotel is a set of suites and for a single night in Como the Victorial Suite had a great price, and with up to 2 more beds available I think it'd make a good deal. The apartment was huge and with climate control and a nice bedroom. The receptionist was very helpful in getting us set up and after that the room was a good base for the rest of the weekend.
