B&B Hotel Como City Center in Como

The hotel is very convenient to the train station at Como S. Giovanni and the Questura. Reception was quite kind and professional. The building is undergoing renovations--I'm sure chļallenges will be addressed. Lots of chipped paint, crazy thermostat jumped to 27C at night, awkward hanger location, no towel rack, no coat hook, broken toilet paper holder, odd mirror behind tv. No sound isolation at all--do being earplugs! But clean with new bed, boiler, fridge, safe. Inexplicable purple stains on tne sheets. Breakfast was pleasant and efficient-- I would add that there is soymilk. As a vegetarian, I always appreciate any added fresh vegetables or potatoes, wholegrain bread, nondairy protein options. I would say decemt value for money--when even hostels are quite high priced. A special thanks to the reception professional who assisted me to book the next week. Early/late check in can possibly be accommodated. Luggage storage is not licked/secure, just behind reception, so you can't leave valuables. But there are deposito bagaluo storage spots at the trainstation and nearby. Convenient also to local buses.

I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel has made a lot of commitments to being environmentally friendly. It's a great location with a short walk to the train, ferry, and lots of restaurants. I felt safe as a solo female traveler.

My partner and I had a lovely time at this hotel. We stayed here for two nights with the intention of seeing Lugano for one day and lake como towns for another. Staying at this hotel made that seamless as you can take a train up to Lugano and take busses to Lake como towns, making this a great hub.

In terms of the hotel itself, we did like the breakfast and the room. Only thing we did not like is the room would get uncomfortably hot at some points with no real way to monitor the heating aside from turning off the heating. We also noticed that the smart tv feature did not work during our stay, which would have been nice on the evenings. I would recommend this hotel to folks that are looking for affordable pricing as well as a way to easily visit Swizterland, Milan or the towns within Lake Como!

had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. The breakfast was definitely a highlight fresh, varied, and delicious, with plenty of options to start the day right. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good service, a great breakfast, and a comfortable stay.

Never heard of this hotel before. the price was right so we booked one in Como and another one in Trieste. Overall, it was satisfactory. Some minor problems which did not dampen our stay since we were out touring during the day. AC was not very strong. Room temperature stayed at 25C to 26C in August. Called front desk and they said they will send someone to adjust. Came back at night and temperature was still at 25C. Also no facial tissue to blow my nose. No lotion. No cups to brush my teeth. Miriam at the front desk raised my rating. She was super friendly and helpful.

The room we were given was ok large room , City view , Breakfast so Good ,

the Only this I really didn't like was the room had a Noise up in the ceiling sounding like a electrical power surge Noise every so often . We were on vacation so I just tried to ignore it . But everything else was pretty well as expected

It's a good location. 10 minutes walk from San Giovanni station. Room is big and nice. 10 minutes walking to the center.
