There the stairs was OK, but the things about the room service is really bad because we ordered food after midnight and they bring it. It’s already made and it’s dry and really bad. Overall Hilton Lake Como is wonderful. The service is very nice. Breakfast is more than ample. The rooms are well laid out, but don’t expect a view of the water unless you book a specific lake view room. You can still enjoy the spectacular view from the roof, but room lake view rooms are their own class and they only offer a 1 level Gold Status Upgrade unlike other Hilton and Hilton family hotels....

I would argue that this is one of the best hotels on the lake. We stayed in a suite facing the lake and I was pleasantly shocked. While I understand that people may want to stay at a less modern place when visiting such a historic place, it’s nice to have a modern touch then be able to venture out to the lake or town. Car paring gate is not automatic sensor & not convenient for the guest.  Upgrade room for extra Euro400 per night for the lake view suite but the view is not really good, room is quite old.

The hotel reception looks amazing but they seemed to have stopped the renovations at the room. They look old and have a lot of signs of usage. The bed and sheets are great however. But you can feel the hotel had a lot of usage. The fact there’s no view or access to the water was a big issue for us. On the bright side the service was exceptional.

Great location on the water front. Easy walk to the main squares and all the Activities. One only stayed one night as we were passing through. Room was loud from all the outdoor activities. Probably will not return.

The best location and transport links with 2 train stations nearby, can visit other parts of Italy and Switzerland. The ferry to go to the other islands around Lake Como is opposite the hotel. Great location near many good restaurants and the ferry docks. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some sweets. The bathroom was huge compared to other bathrooms we experienced during our tour of Northern Italy. We would definitely stay there again.

About a mile from the old town so lovely and quiet. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. The rooftop pool was a life saver in the heat!

The hotel is well located near the city centre. Convenient car parking at hotel premises. I was disappointed that booking for one person gets you only one single bed in a very small room. I would say this about a 3.5. I booked last minute because not much available in town. I should have stayed further away and in a better place. This hotel has the old way of client service in Italy where the customer is always wrong. Nice location on the lake. Unfortunately our room's two windows faced the wall of the building next door and the parking area of the apartments behind. If you’re staying directly in Como, this hotel is absolutely perfect. It’s near both trains, busses, and ferry. The hotel with lake view is stunning. I was in and out of Italy a several times, Hotel Villa Flori is definitely one of the best hospitality I have ever had! I stayed here at Christmas eve, though there is some booking issues upon my arrival, the staff was truly passionate and enthusiastic to help even though it is none of their fault, they even prepared the related documents in case I need it. Location was excellent and the staff are helpful. Only 2 small lifts to the upper levels and the interior of the rooms feels more like a 2 or 3 star hotel than a 4 star. Whoever designed the bathroom clearly forgot about adding a soap tray so there is no where to put your soap or bath gel in the shower area. Oh, and there is the hair dryer from the 1980s. 😅

We stayed with our 3 young children in the duplex suite. There was plenty of space here, the luxurious finish and comfort were fantastic. All staff were extremely friendly, helpful and understanding of our active children. The overall atmosphere of the hotel, the location, the breakfast (fairly limited but very well cared for), everything was more than perfect.
