Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel & Spa

I was fortunate enough to visit this spa in this spectacular location a few weeks ago. I have been to many, many spas in my lifetime and this was my most memorable experience ever. From the very beginning, the staff went out of their way - to make it even possible in the limited time I had. Natalie at the front desk made sure my therapist knew what I needed in my treatment and Anne Rosalie had the magic touch. A true experienced professional! Thank you Anne Rosalia.

Monastero Santa Rosa is pure perfection. Unique check-in with a connection to the history of the monastery, incredible staff, good food and breathtaking views from every corner. The rooms were quite small, but beautifully furnished, with lots of details about the monastery and everything you needed. The infinity pool and terrace are unforgettable. A luxurious, serene Amalfi Coast gem—can’t wait to return!

This is the best 5* hotel we’ve ever stayed at! The hotels attention to detail, beautiful scents, delicious food and love for its customers makes it an experience I will never forget. It’s an absolutely magical place.

Service was spot on and the gentleman who hosted breakfast was extremely charming!

Time at the monastero is everything you might expect for a 5 star resort experience with some notable distinctions.

Amazing attention to detail and systems of management, result in a sense of tranquility which is hugely amplified by the monastery setting. This really can't be overstated. The peaceful environment they create here is quite precious.

Secondly, having a limited number guests (20), means that there is a sense of privacy missing from some resorts or hotels.

Thirdly, the views are literally some of the best photos from our trip.

Fourthly, the generosity and warmth of the staff in every area is 100% consistent. A great credit to management.

Can't come up with words to describe this magical and peaceful place. From the front desk to every staff member, everyone makes you feel welcome and appreciates your presence on the property.

The SPA is exceptional and the masseuses are amazing. The food is top-notch quality, especially the Michelin Star restaurant. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and whether we asked for just water or cocktails, the staff was always accommodating and very friendly.

Every night we found little gifts in our room as part of the turndown service.

Here you experience true five-star luxury service with the touch of charm that the property offers.

Staff were wonderful - attentive but not hovering over you.
Food was incredible. I have a cows milk intolerance and expected to just have to make do with what the best menu options were for me, but wonderfully they had made special dishes for me! (There is an allergy/intolerance question when you book.)
It was our anniversary so they made it very special.

We came here for the spa, and we had the best experience of our lives. We had an hour in the thermal spa, which was an incredible facility, and we had it all to ourselves. We did the Nun’s Escape treatment in the spa suite, and we both agreed it was the best massage we’ve ever had. We were able to get a cocktail at their bar afterwards with incredible views, and they had a free shuttle for us to a from our hotel in Amalfi.

Wow wow wow! Seriously what an amazing experience. A top 2 hotel experience of my life. Incredible staff, great food, great cocktails. Overall 10/10 experience.
-The staff is absolutely incredible, not one negative thing to say about that.
-The daily free breakfast is great, and I highly recommend taking advantage of.
-The gym has a beautiful view of the garden, cliffside and ocean. Relatively small but has more than enough for an adequate workout. Only enough space for 4-6 people max, but with only 15-20 rooms on the property we never had more than 4 people at the gym during our stay.
-The free shuttle up and down to Amalfi city was clutch! Pro tip** call them before arrival, if you're coming into Amalfi via boat from Salerno let them know and they will provide free pick up.
-The property itself is absolutely stunning, and the fresh gardens that the restaurants and bars use make for incredibly fresh food/drinks. In fact, if you order a mojito you may see them walk over to a mint plant, fresh pick your mint leaves for your drink!
-The spa was awesome in every way.
-I preferred the regular dinner restaurant over the Michelin star restaurant (but these are usually not my thing anyway)
