Tramonto d'Oro Hotel

A great hotel with a wonderful view and and amazing service. We were treated so well and everyone was very polite. At night the area was just the right amount of lively. Close to a church and close to restaurants, bus stops, and attractions such as cooking classes, boat tours, ferries, driving tours. Very short distance from Amalfi and Positano. Breakfast food is amazing and the dinner is very delicious. Best calamari I've ever had. Absolutely recommend

Great view. Spacious room, their small bed was more like a queen. Good hospitality too.

It’s a bit loud at night, we kept hearing loud banging, maybe doors slamming? It was also bright because they have some thin white curtains that are useless.

Good gym, though it gets a little crowded because only 2-3 people can fit at once.

My husband and I only had the opportunity to stay here one night but wish we had stayed longer. The grounds are beautiful, as is the sundeck. The pool is a relief on a hot afternoon, as are the bar drinks. The breakfast in the mornings is fresh, abundant and very tasty. We will certainly return during our next trip to Praiano.

We did not stay at this hotel, but did eat here numerous times so this review is only for the restaurant. Fantastic service, I cannot emphasize that enough. All the staff were wonderful, hard working, professional, kind, and extremely attentive. Some of the best service I have ever received. I wish I could give 100 stars for their service. Great people! The food was delicious, fairly priced, and the views were spectacular.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. We stayed in the Mediterranean room for 4 nights. The room was spacious, clean, and lovely with a comfy bed, and the views were breathtaking from our balcony. The owner, Ms. Carmela, and her staff were super kind, hospitable, and helpful. They warmly greeted us upon arrival and answered all of our questions throughout our stay. They would go above and beyond to make sure guests were enjoying their stay. For example, the staff spent a good amount of time to find and arrange a tour to Capri for us on a day that most tours were already sold out.
The hotel restaurant has breathtaking views and great food. The included breakfast was very good with so many options to choose from. You could also ask the kitchen for a drink of your choice and an omelet or eggs cooked however you wanted. The kitchen staff and the chef were all amazing too. They truly cared about the guests. For example, we had dinner at the restaurant when we arrived. We were so tired we just ordered the main course. We still received complementary appetizers and cookies, which was a nice surprise. I ordered the beef entrecote but was also curious about the Stracotto of beef, and the chef sent some Stracotto sauce with my beef entrecote, which was amazing too. I totally recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful.
Starting with the check in, it is apparent that every customer is special and treated as individuals. The staff are warm, friendly, helpful and genuine.
The view from the room was just breathtaking- the photos are good but the reality of experiencing the view is indescribable.
The room itself was gorgeous and felt brand new.
I am gluten free- this was not a problem. All staff went out of their way to ensure my needs were met.
Staying here is kind of like staying with really good friends. But with all the benefits of extraordinary hospitality and one of the best views ever.

Just finished a 4 night stay here at Tramonto D’Oro to start off our Europe vacation. From before our trip they had excellent customer service that went above and beyond in planning details and gathering information of where to eat and how to get around. Upon arriving we were blown away by the view. The included breakfast had a lot of variety and the car transfers we arranged through them were very timely. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming, family-owned hotel in Praiano, and it truly felt like a slice of heaven. From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast took our breath away, setting the perfect backdrop for our getaway.

The rooms were generously sized and very clean, providing a cozy retreat after long days of exploring.

What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the staff. From check in to checkout, everyone was helpful and kind.They welcomed us like family, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their warmth and genuine hospitality created a homey atmosphere that made us want to linger a little longer.

We also dined at the hotel restaurant and were delighted by the fresh, delicious food. Every meal was a treat, showcasing the best of local cuisine and made with love. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of adventures. The cod was amazing and we are still talking about Pepe's wine recommendations!

Additionally, we took advantage of the laundry service, and I can honestly say our clothes smelled like home—an unexpected touch that added to the overall comfort of our stay.

If you're looking for a welcoming place with stunning views, great food, and a family feel, I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We left with full hearts and cherished memories, and I can't wait to return!

Hotel Tramonto D’Oro is one of the most beautiful/well run hotels I have ever stayed. The staff were FANTASTIC, absolutely went above & beyond. I can’t say enough about how good the service was, from the front desk organizing taxi’s, giving us recommendations around the town, amazing breakfast service etc etc But THE VIEWS. I honestly cannot say enough about the first look from our hotel room on the -2 floor. Literally breathtaking. Everything was immaculate and clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly & kept us nice and cool on the super hot August days. The breakfast selection was fantastic. The large pool area also had incredible views, great lounging chairs and a bar to order drinks/food. Another bonus of staying here, or staying in Praiano in general, is that it’s a small town with most things in walking distance. Small grocery store across the street where we were able to buy a few drinks to enjoy on our balcony along with snacks to bring to the beach. This hotel is worth EVERY PENNY & I could not recommend it enough. Thank you for such a fantastic stay!! (Also a two minute walk from the start of the Path of the Gods hike - I 10/10 recommend this hike if you’re up for it!)
