Hotel Margherita in Praiano

We loved Hotel Margherita. The rooms were clean and plenty big. The service is especially good. The staff are all so wonderful and you can tell it’s family run. They went out of their way to drive guests up and down the hills. Communicating using WhatsApp was so easy and they were so helpful. Breakfasts were good and the restaurant served good lunch and dinners too. The Amalfi coast isn’t easy to get around but the staff made it easy for us. The view is spectacular. This is a special place.

Our stay exceeded our expectations!!! Hotel easy to find and parking made the arrival easy. Warm welcome with complementary prosecco. Our room (deluxe) was perfect. King, desk and couch. Bed and pillows comfortable. Awesome breakfast (and saw dinners, and looked and smelled good).

What made a difference was the staff. Especially Matteo, who very kind and patient with us explaining how to get to the path of the gods

Another big plus was the location - purpose of our trip was Path of the Gods to Positano and returned by bus. Location of the hotel made that day easy.

Highly recommend Hotel Margherita! Praiano is well-located to experience the romantic and beauty of the Amalfi Coast without the chaos of Positino or Amalfi. It is also close enough to go to either if/when desire with quick and reasonable transportation options. Hotel Margherita made it even better. Room views, cleanliness, and comfort are excellent but the staff make it special. They all go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and accommodated. My only regret is we weren’t there longer.

We had a 5-star hotel experience here!

We stayed here for four nights in October 2025 to celebrate our honeymoon, and it was absolutely unforgettable. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and quick to assist with any questions or needs via WhatsApp. Their shuttle service was a total game changer — we barely had to climb any stairs during our stay! The team even helped us arrange buses and transportation around the Amalfi Coast, which made everything effortless.

I am so glad we chose to stay in Praiano for our trip. The hotel’s location is perfect — walking distance from great restaurants and, of course they have M’ama, the on-site restaurant with the most stunning views. The pool is gorgeous, and our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and overlooked the breathtaking Praiano coast.

Breakfast each morning was a highlight: fresh juices, cappuccinos, croissants, and omelets that were all delicious. And we even had the pleasure of meeting Nonna Margherita, the owner herself, during their cooking class!

We’re so grateful to all the hardworking staff for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We’ll be dreaming of coming back here again someday ❤️

What a gem of a find! Absoutely stunning hotel with incredible views. The staff were all wonderful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was beautiful - we stayed in a twin room for 2 nights and one of the apartments for 3 nights which had a fantastic outside space with private hot tub and was very peaceful. We booked a couple of massages which were also amazing! The restaurant and terrace bar are stunning and the food was top notch! Would absolutely recommend staying here.

The room is cozy and comfortable

Highlight of our stay in Italy. The staff are super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Their shuttle service helped us get around the towns very easily. They suggested us things to do around the town and helped us book everything. The room was super comfortable with amazing room service. It had a jacuzzi in it which was fun. Best hotel we have ever stayed at hands down. Recommend 100%!

Love the staff and breakfast each morning we were there. Nice views from the pool and room balcony. A rooftop bar and restaurant were also great spots to hang out after a long day of walking or a nice lunch and dinner with live entertainment. Great Hotel overall.

What an excellent hotel. My wife and I came here for our honey moon and the entire experience was fantastic. We had a great view. The breakfast was great with a lot of options. What made them a cut above the rest was their customer service. They have a WhatsApp channel and you can ask them anything and they will respond. For example, we asked for a garage in Positano and they immediately recommended a place. We asked about laundry services and they apologized that they didn’t have in house services but two minutes up the street was a place that for 25 euro washed you laundry and returned it to your room. They have a few vans that take you around to restaurants in the vicinity. You just text them and they pick you back up: Up the street, meaning a 3 minute walk, is a great restaurant where we had fantastic scallops, spaghetti, cod and sea bass. The rooms are clean. There is parking outside for those driving into town. They have a restaurant at the top of the hotel. Just come for a stay. It’s great!

Wonderful place to spend the last leg of our honeymoon trip. We booked one of the apartments, which had beautiful views, lots of space, a nice coffeemaker, and a lovely terrace all to ourselves. Everything we ate here was wonderful, from the included breakfast, to lunch by the pool, to the tasting menus at their restaurant, M'Ama. The entire staff was so responsive and lovely. We found that in Italy, a lot of "5-star" Google reviews were inflated, so please know that Hotel Margherita truly deserves theirs, and I'm writing this of my own accord! Would return in a heartbeat.
